Awesome, thanks.

Ranking All Japan Wrestlers
The huge 70's footage dump with a bunch of new/rare matches that just went up on YouTube might change that. Where's that?

WWE Extreme Rules 2016
They're 2 for 2 on great matches. I hope they have something worthwhile for AJ now that Rollins and Reigns are going to be paired. If he didn't make his bones in those two main events, not sure how he would.

WWE Extreme Rules 2016
These guys are a fantastic match-up.

WWE Extreme Rules 2016
I've never thought Ambrose was very good, but the fans did care about him for a long time. Jericho has even taken that away. What a terrible drag he's become. He wouldn't make my top 1,000 wrestlers ever.

WWE Extreme Rules 2016
That cage is ridiculous, and not in a good way. My expectations for this could hardly be lower.

WWE Extreme Rules 2016
This has been a quality wrestling show.

Reveal schedule
I understand it's 120 teams but agree there's little need to stretch it out over a whole month. If that's the pace Beast and Low Blow need to go at, it's understandable, and I appreciate their efforts. But this was never comparable to GWE, so I imagine a lot of us would be cool with a quicker roll out.

WWE Payback
These guys had the crowd (and me) hooked despite all the bullshit. That's saying something. Great performance by both.

WWE Payback
The wrestling in this match has been really good though.

WWE Payback
Nothing screams new era like a title match built around the McMahons.

WWE Payback
Why can't they keep this shit on RAW?

It's equally amazing that people think Ambrose is something special.

WWE Payback
Sounds like he might be OK. That's a relief.

WWE Payback
Perrito is the obvious scary comparison.

WWE Payback
Looked legit. Slamming your neck against the ropes is no joke.

The Greatest Wrestler Ever Project: Postscript
I don't think it's either/or for the most part. The majority of those who recorded podcasts also posted extensively in the threads.

[GWE] PWO, The GWE, and Me
Kris with the unexpected heel run-in, spurring another subjectivity debate after the countdown wrapped. Dastardly!

The Greatest Wrestler Ever Project: Postscript
Niche was not a patronizing term in this context but a catch-all for styles that were seemingly ignored by large segments of voters. The implication was only that shootstyle, joshi, British stuff, etc. were effectively reduced to niches in this process, not that they're inherently niches.

[1986-05-01-NJPW] Yoshiaki Fujiwara & Osamu Kido & Akira Maeda & Kazuo Yamazaki & Nobuhiko Takada vs Seiji Sakaguchi & Tatsumi Fujinami & Keiichi Yamada & Kengo Kimura & Shiro Koshinaka
The Fujiwara-Fujinami segment of this was so phenomenal and yet so vexing, because we never got a singles match from them during the UWF-NJ feud.

Good Will Wrestling: Greatest Wrestler Ever Series
At the end of the day, we're all equally nuts and rational. That's just the joy of wrestling I feel and I agree, these shows are ace. Also, this DVDR History pod has me so pumped. I do not agree that DEAN is equally rational

Naitch and The Funker
I've said it elsewhere but one of my great wrestling fan regrets is that I was away at camp and missed the '89 Bash match in Baltimore. Never really got to see a vintage Funk performance live, though I did see plenty of Flair main events and, just as his rep would suggest, he always brought it. That Hugo story resonates. I have a lot of family from Charleston and Columbia, and I'll never forget visiting the following summer and seeing how many houses along the coast were just gone.

Flair vs Funk: Who is the greatest?
I'm interested to hear from all those saying Funk was better: How important was Terry's '90s work to you in framing his case?
