[1995-07-08-SMW-TV] Brad Armstrong vs Buddy Landell
Isn't this the same finish from the Lawler/Smothers/landell angle from earlier in the year? Good interviews all around after the match. Was that Kenny Bolin as the time keeper?

[1995-07-08-USWA-TV] Rock & Roll Express and PG-13 / Interview: Mark Curtis
Ricky Morton should have been a heel longer. Just great brawling from him. Randy Hales punching? Not so great. Morton's mullet is out of control

[1994-03-12-SMW-Johnson City, TN] Rock & Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies (60-Minute Iron Man)
Just watched this on the SMW set and god it was a pain to sit through. I like both teams but the time killing had locks and limb work was just too much. Best part of the match was the Bodies taunting the crowd. Too much Robert Gibson control segments and not enough Ricky Morton famous FIP.

[1995-07-08-AAA] El Hijo del Santo & Octagon & Rey Misterio Jr & La Parka vs Pentagon & Jerry Estrada & Psicosis & Fuerza Guerrera
I didn't like this that much. Not a awful match but a usual AAA main for the time. Parka had some good comedy and Fuerza was pretty good. Of course, Estrada has to take the craziest bump into the crowd.

[1995-07-08-AAA] Espectrito vs Super Munequito
I like how Espectrito was second by Coco Azul who tries to interfere in the second fall. This was good but not on the level of high end AAA minis matches. Espectrito looked like he hurt himself taking a armdrag to the outside and hitting his foot on the bull ring. The camera also misses a dive at the start of the third while focusing on the crowd. I always hated that about AAA and they still do it. Good finish and Loss is right, the crowd goes crazy.

[1995-07-07-WAR-3rd Anniversary Show] Jimmy Snuka & Bob Backlund & Mil Mascaras vs The Eliminators & Hector Garza
I can't get over how much Bob Backlund was over in Japan. I liked how he tried to keep the crowd quiet and then went to shake Saturn's hand. Fun match that wasn't long and had a hot crowd.

[1995-07-07-WAR-3rd Anniversary Show] Chris Jericho vs Ultimo Dragon
Yeah what is the deal with Dragon's outfit? He looks like Milano Connection AT. I liked this match though. Easily the best non WWE Jericho match I've seen. He seemed to be on the mission to impress.

[1995-07-06-AAA-Sin Limite] Rey Misterio Jr & Octagon & Super Muneco vs Psicosis & Fuerza Guerrera & Blue Panther
I could watch Super Muneco do arm drags and roll his head like D-Lo Brown all day. This was a fun match but kinda disappointing effort from Rey Jr. Psicosis ruled as always and Panther/Fuerza did a good job with Octagon and Muneco.

I like how the song goes faster than Jarrett's lips do. I love this so much. I remember I used to sing it on the school bus and people thought I was nuts.

[1995-07-01-WCW-Saturday Night] Dave Sullivan and Diamond Doll
This was ridiculous. Kimberly was just so good looking that it's hard to hate on her. The sound effects, Disco in the bunny outfit, DDP's fanny pack. Just crazy stuff.

Todd reminds me of Herb Abrams during this. Douglas should have attacked Styles while he was at it.

1997 Recommendations
6-21 Justin Credible debuts in USWA but isn't called that, he's called PJ Walker. I had no idea he did the gimmick before ECW? Of course, USWA was feuding with ECW at the time so that might be why. The Jerry Lawler's kid angle: On Raw, Paul E said that Brian Christopher was Jerry's kid. The next week, Jerry goes on USWA tv and addressed the rumors. On 6/14, he attempts to give an answer but then time runs out and they cut off the show. On 6-21, both Jerry and Brian have a interview. Brian wants to tell the truth but Jerry goes kinda heel and says it's no one's business. Billly Travis gets arrested: Billy is scheduled for a match with Fake Razor for the USWA title. After they ran a old match of Jerry Lawler vs Jackie Fargo, they cut backstage to show Billy getting walked out by 3 officers with Luther Biggs trying to stop them. This is the famous shoot turned angle where Billy got arrested when one of his baby mamas found out he was working in Memphis and called the cops for Child Support and Alimony. Lawler managed to make a angle out of it where Brian Christopher said he called the cops for Vandalism(Billy and Luther destroyed Brian's car on tv a couple weeks before) and found out about the woman's Child Support and called the cops himself. Really weird angle/shoot.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
You might care to elaborate on that since you're probably the only guy here who is real into the F4W board. Some guy is selling bootleg Puro and gets pissed when people upload it for free. People call him out on it and he gets bitchy. Alan defends the guy and people get pissed at that. Thread is closed. At least that's what I got out of it?

[1994-08-19-AAA] Konnan & Cien Caras vs El Satanico & Perro Aguayo
I believe this was a Parejas Incredibles match which is Rudo/Tecnico vs Rudo/Tecnico. I wanna say the other guys is Chicano Power?

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
I'm currently watching some ECW from 2006 and Kurt Angle is on the roster. Now I remember him having the match with Sabu where RVD tries to do a Van Daminator and misses Angle's face by a mile. The next week, Angle is booked in a triple threat Ladder match vs RVD and Sabu but is taken out by Paul Heyman for some injury. Before the match, Angle attacks Heyman and the Bashams backstage. Was that Angle's last appearance on tv? I think it was because he was released before Summerslam if I remember since Sabu got the title shot vs Big Show. The next week, they announce that Angle has been released from his contract. That surprised me that they announced it cause they hardly ever did that or do it now on air. Interesting that the only three people still on the WWE roster that was on the ECW roster are Kelly, Punk and Scott Armstrong.

AWA Thread
I'm watching a AWA show on ESPN classic from 1990 and Tully Blanchard is in the main event. I had no idea he wrestled in the AWA after his WWF? How long did he last?

[1995-07-01-SMW-TV] PG-13 vs The Thugz / Interview: Randy Hales
Holy shit at that backdrop Curtis takes from PG13. He lands on his feet and falls on his head. Brutal. Also, who knew Hales was a Bodybuilder?

[1995-07-15-SMW-TV] Interview: Tommy Rich / Interview: Jim Cornette's Militia
I would say yes, Cornette's overexposure killed SMW among other things. While he's a good promo, i'm just sick of seeing him. Landell cuts a good promo about how he's ready to take the brass ring and will win the WWF IC title. He doesn't care who the champ is, Double J or even Vince Mcmahon himself!!!
