[1995-02-19-WCW-Superbrawl V] Hulk Hogan vs Vader
If Vader was in against anyone else, his performance here would look great. But after Hogan no sold the Powerbomb at the Clash, I can't take Hogan pretending that any of Vaders offense hurt in this match. Although Vader dropping Hogan right on his head with that chokeslam he does was sick. Speaking of Hulk, That promo he did before the match has to be a record. He said "Brother" about 20 times in 5 minutes. Then at the end, He needs help from 2 people to run off Flair and Vader? Really Hulk? God I hate pre NWO WCW Hogan.

Which WCW/ECW performer was most negatively effected by their companies closing?
Kidman reminds me of Chris Candidio. They were totally overshadowed by the women. After Kidman was managed by Torrie, he was never the same.

Which WCW/ECW performer was most negatively effected by their companies closing?
I'm thinking New Jack and Axl Rotten. Sure New Jack had a run in XPW and TNA but it wasn't the same. Axl was never really that important after ECW folded. As for WCW, I'm gonna say DDP.

What are you watching?
In a promotion with a lot of mullets, it was pretty great. I still can't believe WCW (and later USWA) tried to push him as a oriental superstar.

What are you watching?
Watching some more Evansville USWA and I had no idea that Lawler feuded with Mike Awesome in 1990. Seeing Dave Brown mark out for Awesome's Awesome bomb was great. At the same time, Lawler was feuding with Chris Champion after almost "killing" him. I've also been watching Schneider Comp 19. The James Mason match was the highlight of the comp. His wrestling is just so slick. The 1 hour Chris Hero vs CM Punk match? Not so much. So many dangerous and stupid moves.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
If you think Styles was annoying in ECW, you should listen to his MLW work. He was dressing like Mark Madden.

AWA Thread
Will any of the AWA matches taped at the Mid South Coliseum be on the set? I know two were on the Memphis set. Always wondered what the deal was with AWA taping at the MSC. It looked like a totally different building compared to how Memphis was running it at the time.

[1995-02-18-USWA-TV] Interview: PG-13
I didn't know that PG13 used PE's theme music before PE? Nice custom hubcap JC has.

[1995-02-11-WCW-Saturday Night] Vader feature / Interview: Hulk Hogan
Gene forgetting the date of the ppv was funny. Of course WCW being WCW, they didn't edit that out. I also laughed at Gene and Jimmy nodding in approval when Hogan took a shot at WWF.

[1995-02-11-SMW-TV] Bob Armstrong and New Jack
I miss the days where heels got fined for what they did. Always love when Bullet Bob Armstrong walks tall and starts beating people up. Wish the beatdown went a little longer though.

What are you watching?
How does one get a hold of the WMC footage? That's gotta be a gold mine. I just watched the break up of the Stud Stable where Fuller destroys Brian Lee because Lee talked about Sylvia leaving him. That was a great angle.

What are you watching?
I'm watching the 1990 Evansville USWA tv show. Loss is right that it's very edited as it's a mix of Memphis and Texas. It still has some fun stuff. Billy Joe Travis and Terry "Beauty" Garvin make a fun tag team. Billy offers James "Buster" Douglas $50,000 dollars to box him. They were feuding with Bill Dundee and Jeff Jarrett which is fun. You also have some fun random stuff like Steve Austin in Devastation Inc, A PY Chu Hi vs Matt Borne football match feud. I hope the PY squash where he's wearing a full football outfit is on the 1990 yearbook.
