My 241 Favorite Matches
You seen Wagner/Mesias from this year's Triplemania yet? It's one of my matches of the year so far and probably AAA's best since the 2007 Apaches/Air Force feud.

WWE "Rise And Fall Of WCW" DVD
Rey/Malenko was on the first Rey set wasn't it? I'll be getting this and good to see some Vader matches on here.

Not when it's his gimmick to look like that. But yeah he looks almost like a Albino.

PG13 vs RNR Express feud from 1995 was awesome. Especially the match from Night to Remember.

Dave Meltzer + not an optimal mood = comic genius
Wait a minute, this is supposed to be funny? I thought it was horrible and was written by that unfunny hack Alverez but it was written by Dave? Damn.

Well HHH and Jericho are on opposite brands now so it won't happen for a while.

Most ex AAA guys now go to IWRG and the indys (Histeria, Cibernetico, Psicosis, Porky).

Yeah CMLL does. Santo's popularity has probably gone down a little bit over the years. He mostly work with PERROS and Cibernetico now along with his own group of guys. How is the AAA guys fucked if they do?

I know AAA isn't everyone's cup of Tea right now but the build to Triplemania I think has been great. Especially the 2 big main events: Mesias/Wagner and the Cage match featuring the return for one night of Santo. I never thought I would see Santo in AAA ever again. Especially with Konnan "in charge". Mesias has filled the void Cibernetico left when he left and I've always been a huge Wagner fan so seeing him back in a promotion where he doesn't have to play second fiddle to Mistico is great. Anyone else pumped for this show?

DVD #2: El Hijo del Santo, Scorpio Jr & Bestia Salvaje vs Negro Casas, El Dandy & Hector Garza
Rewatching this match now and God it's still awesome. Did Dandy vs Santo ever happen? Hector Garza almost breaks his neck in the last fall.

Some of the people at WKO. Especially Luis who I like but he's basically a Mike Sheep.

Wrestling Myth Busters
He was great in Georgia and Florida but man was he bad in Alabama. I don't blame him but he sounded like he was drunk 24/7.

Suggestions for things to include in the future
Yeah if we are taking suggestions, I nominate PG13 vs Rock N Roll Express from Louisville USWA Night to remember 1995. That match is so great.

So I'm watching the USWA dvds I got from Loss from Summer of 95 and I had no idea Vader was in USWA? Was that just a one time appearance or what? Either way him squashing Jobbers in the MSC was awesome. He killed for New South member Korey Williams with multiple powerbombs.

Good Trope/Bad Trope
Bret vs Shawn was all about the heat and Mic work for me.

Questions for Dory Funk Jr?
What's the story about his split with Adam Windsor? Is Windsor still doing the personal trainer gig in Ocala? Whatever happened to that 7 foot guy he trained that went to New Japan for like a show? Thoughts on the Barb Wire match he had in ECW? Thoughts on the match in Puerto Rico when he teamed with his wife vs Carlos Colon?

DVD #3: Eddy Guerrero & Art Barr vs El Hijo del Santo & Octagon
If this is the match i'm thinking it is, I think it's better than the much overhyped When World Collide match. Eddy going crazy on drunk Octagon was great.

Smackdown last week
Probably one of the best smackdown's in a while. Mostly because HHH and Vickie Guerrero are gone but the addition of Jericho, Rey and Punk plus babyface John Morrison is awesome. Can't wait to watch tonight's show. I also like Jim Ross: Color Commentator. The only negative I have about smackdown now is no Maryse. She was so awesome on Smackdown and now she's not going to get the time to shine on Raw.

Good Trope/Bad Trope
How about Heel Tojo Yammamoto having control of World Class back in 1989?

Wrestling Myth Busters
Sadly, some fans won't. Hence all the fatass jokes about Samoa Joe. Never mind that he's a perfectly decent athlete who can work hour-long matches, he doesn't have shredded muscles, therefore he's a couch potato to some people. Years and years of the WWE and everyone who copied them constantly giving us roided-up monsters as "real athletes" and "looking great" have conditioned plenty of people into that exact mindset. I think that's all in the presentation. Again, like you mentioned, it takes conditioning of the audience. Pro Wrestling has that luxury though. Even Edge comes off well and he's got a lean, athletic body. I do think, had Joe been booked better, he would be taken seriously and accepted. When he was in ROH and first coming into TNA I don't remember nearly as much talk about his lack of muscles as there is now that he's a knife wielding whiner. Well there's also the fact that he absolutely sucks now and has gained at least 50 pounds.

So which one is Wade? I've never seen a picture of him.

Didn't Vince get pissed about him wanting to spend time with his family or something like that?

Yeah I got to agree with the Kobashi thing. I watched his comeback vs Inoue and it was just painful to watch. Kinda like Flair in 07.
