[2000-10-07-OVW-TV] Disciples of Synn (Slash & Damien & Judas) vs Big Show & B.J. Payne & Flash Flanagan
it's still sad to see Show go from WWF champ to this in less than a year. However, this was pretty great. Show cuts a good southern promo before the match. Even though the fireball was botched, Synn trew a nice looking one. Loved the video with Leviathan and Show. Leviathan had a great look that could have worked on the main roster. I'm shocked that OVW actually built to a match that people wanted to see and it didn't include the heel refs.

[2000-10-07-NWA Wildside] A.J. Styles vs Romeo Bliss
Romeo Bliss is hilarious. He looks like Tommy Rogers but talks like southern rick rude. Steve Martin's reaction when Romeo turns him down is great. I thought this was a good tv match. Aj doesn't take him seriously but Romeo gets the last laugh. You guys weren't kidding with AJ's bumping. He even goes over the barricade and lands on Larry Goodman.

[2000-10-22-Monterrey] La Parka vs Shocker
That vingette at the beginning was weird as hell. Right up there with the Antonio Pena halloween ones in the early 2000s. As for the match, I liked it. Parka's mask gets ripped to shreds, shocker bleeds, A fan tries to attack the ref and Nicho is wearing a Jerome Bettis Steelers uniform. Finish was a little weird.

[2000-10-22-Monterrey] El Hijo del Santo & Negro Casas & Tarzan Boy & Brazo de Plata vs Scorpio Jr & Bestia Salvaje & Rey Bucanero & Nicho el Millonairo
This was pretty much a backdrop for the slow as molasses Tarzan Boy rudo turn. I'm still surprised they did it outside of CMLL. Is Nicho still independent here or is he with CMLL? I know he worked there in 2001. Pissed off porky is the best. Liked the headscissors spot where everyone it except for Porky who just splashes poor Rey Bucanero.

[2000-10-20-CMLL] El Hijo del Santo & Blue Panther & Fuerza Guerrera vs Bestia Salvaje & Negro Casas & Scorpio Jr (Trios Incredibles)
Rudo Casas is the best Casas. HIm and Santo tearing it up on the mat in the first was great. However, this is all about the post match. Walking tall Blue Panther turning tecnico ruled. Then Perro comes in in street clothes and ups the ante. Loved Shocker getting stuck and having to go through the crowd and pushing fans. Fun angle that makes me want to see a rematch.

[2000-10-19-IWA-CW] Steve Corino & Rapid Fire Maldonado vs Dylan Knight & J.D. Powers
I'm pretty sure Maldonado came out to Corino's ECW theme. Or at least it sounded like it. Nice to see Corino as a traveling babyface but the small crowd was sad. Reminded me of early days Chikara. Match was ok. Night cuts a good promo early on and JD is a stereotypical indie guy in the early 2000s. No gear, shit offense. The announcer was pretty annoying. Did you know this is not Philidelphia? Paul Heyman!!! ECW Crap.

WWE Crown Jewel: No Girlz ALLOWED~!
But if you watch WCCW on youtube, there are probably ads before the video and that ad money goes to WWE. Same with any other territory they own. I'm not going to watch Crown Jewel. Not out of protest or anything but just there is too much WWE product out these days and I don't have time to watch everything. Plus the matches will probably be rematched to death on tv.

[2000-10-18-AAA] Octagoncito & Mascarita Sagrada & La Parkita vs Mini Espectro Jr & Mini Khaos & Mini Abismo Negro
Sagrada almost landing on his neck doing a splash off the top rope could have been real bad. Not sure what he was going for there. This match was mostly to continue to Abismo tecnico turn. At least the minis tried with some dives before the bullshit started.

[2000-10-15-Monterrey] Bestia Salvaje & El Dandy & Shocker & Zumbido vs Antifaz del Norte & La Parka & Safari & Negro Casas
Parka not even caring that his face is showing while beating down Shocker is great. The Parka/Shocker parts of this were pretty good. Rest of the guys didn't do much although I liked the Zumbido/Antifaz crowd brawl. Shocker burning the mask and almost setting fire to the ringside area was a nice visual. Match went a little too long in the first and second falls.

[2000-10-13-CMLL] El Hijo del Santo & Blue Panther vs Negro Casas & Scorpio Jr (Relevos Incredibles)
Santo was great in this. Between the dives and getting so fed up with Scorpio that he takes his own mask off. Casas finally looks motivated in his section with Panther. Scorpio bleeds a ton during the brawl with Santo. This match felt like a return of how great CMLL was earlier in the year.

[2000-10-13-AAA] Super Crazy vs Oriental
This is one of the first AAA matches I remember liking back in the day. It's different than the usual AAA match as it's worked more in a 96 AAA/ECW style compared to the 99 WCW style AAA was going with around the time. Oriental wasn't bad and hits a nice couple dives. Crazy is in full ECW mode but is the rudo. Doesn't hold up to the CMLL stuff of 2000 but probably the best AAA match in 2000 so far.

[2000-10-12-IWRG] Villano III & Villano IV & Super Parka vs El Dandy & Scorpio Jr & Silver King
Dandy and Silver King worked well as a team with the Villanos. However, this was mostly about Parka/King which felt really forced but that's the IWRG way. Villano 3 looked motivated which was nice and I liked the King/Scorpio slow break up. King keeps screwing up and Scorpio has enough. Good match.

NXT talk
It used to be those people but they stopped coming a few years ago. Now it's all the bullet club/pwg fans that are the most vocal. I'm not one to usually get phased by fan behavior cause hey, a vocal crowd is better than a dead one. However the full sail crowd is one of the reasons I stopped going regularly. Just annoying as hell. You can really tell the difference between the nxt crowd and the myc crowd.

[2000-09-30-OVW-TV] Damaja & Nick Dinsmore vs Jason Lee & Derrick King
Once you get past the commentary and the bad ref finish, this wasn't too bad. The blondes were bumping like crazy for Dinsmore's backdrops. However, I can't get past the commentary. Cornette would not stop talking. And now the Blondes have a heel ref as manager. How very ECW of Cornette.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
Penzer was around off and on till last year.

[2000-09-30-NWA Wildside-TV] Shank & Lazz vs Onyx & Terry Knight
The SHANK video before the match was great. I remember that Yard cage match cause it got so much hype and they used to sell a video of it. I did not expect SHANK to do moonsaults. As for the match, it was pretty basic with lazz taking most of the punishment before the hot tag. SHANK was killing dudes before the Monday night Raw finish happened. Makes sense with SHANK's character but was still stupid.

[2000-09-23-NWA Wildside-TV] Samir & Zane Morris vs Joey Corbin & Kevin Douglas
4 NWA Southwest guys trying to make a name in Wildside. One of the guys is wearing a New Kids on the Block shirt which seems very outdated in 2000. Thought the guys did good with Samir and Morris standing out. I don't think these guys went anywhere compared to the other Texas guys like Masada and Paul London.

[2000-09-23-FWA (UK)-The Rules Have Changed] Jody Fleisch & Kevin O'Neill & Blade vs Jonny Storm & LX Blade & Ross Gordon
This is an FWA vs NWA match. Chad is right that Storm and Fleisch stood out from the pack. Especially Fleish with his flying. The other guys look like backyarders.
