WWE TV 11/07 - 11/13 Roman broke his knee and made him humble
You ever see those episodes of Prime Time that had matches from the old Boston Garden that the Duke did commentary on? That was something to behold.

WWE TV 11/07 - 11/13 Roman broke his knee and made him humble
So Survivor Series is going to be in Boston.....hmmm, wonder if there's any Boston natives who could be one of the conveniently open two spaces on the babyface side who could make a big return in front of a hometown crowd.

WWE TV 11/07 - 11/13 Roman broke his knee and made him humble
I can see both WWE and Impact doing it again, since both of their shows were pretty well received. Plus Paul was obviously big on pushing the women in NXT so I would imagine there wouldn't need to be the arm twisting that previously needed to be required.

Impact seems to have embraced its role as a low pressure place to go to get things back on track, and it's actually good for the business that a place like that exists. Especially when WWE was in cost cutting mode, it was nice for people to have a place to land since Impact is basically going to outlast all human life as we know it. Also based on the post show interview WWE put on their Youtube page, it seems like the main event angle was indeed supposed to be Lashley's heel turn.

I always got the impression there was some kind of issue going on with her and AEW, even before Keith went there people were thinking she would show up at some point and she just.... didn't. When Keith signed people just kind of assumed it was a done deal she'd show up and again, nothing. For some reason there just seemed to be no interest there whether it was on her side or theirs.

All Elite Wrestling
But it has been. GamePass has been a huge money maker for Microsoft and has been a boon to a lot of midrange and smaller devs. Again, the only games that stay free on it forever are ones made by MS or their owned subsidiaries (so it they are still getting the money either way). It gives people the chance to play games they might not have risked the purchase on, and there's a whole other half of GamePass for PC games so people on that platform don't really lose out either. The only one it kinda sucks for is Sony, but most AAA games are multiplatform and Sony just updated PlayStation Plus to include free games as well. They don't do it as well as GamePass, but that's not Microsoft's fault. Now there's a larger argument to be made that subscription services in general aren't good in general, but there's nothing particularly egregious about GamePass itself. If anything it's become the model of how it should be done if subscription models are going to be the future.

Yep, it's been a big boon for a lot of smaller and/or indy games. Microsoft pays good money for it. Also they aren't available free forever unless it's a game made by MS or a company they own like Bethesda. I like it since I preordered it on PS5 to have a physical copy (I have the digital only Xbox Series S) so now I can play it on both systems.

I'm guessing the point was to turn Lashley heel (and Seth face too maybe?). Also I wasn't really hankering for an Austin Theory main event push, but man has winning MITB just been a series of punk outs.

AEW TV 11/2-11/4
Anytime someone kicks out of a Pedigree in WWE, I expect Hunter to come out and end the match pissed-off Inoki style.

Hmm, Lashley said in an interview he wants to bring back the Hurt Business and now Cedric and Shelton are back on TV for the first time in ages.

I still don't get why a potentially great manager like JBL is being wasted on Corbin. Maybe they are hoping he can work magic like MVP.

I don't know what these announcers are on about, I've never heard it pronounced anything but "Wilks-Barry", and I hear it a lot since the Penguins' AHL team plays there.

Yeah that was a pretty awkward way to shoehorn a six man match.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
If Braun was a heel and he was doing some MJF style "living the gimmick on social media" bit, then fine. But he's not, and because of his prior nonsense he's going to get zero benefit of the doubt (nor does he deserve any). He's not even someone like KO who's sometimes a smart ass on social media, he's a guy with a history of being a dickhole so anything that even approaches this is not going to get looked at as anything less than more dickhole behavior.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
This certainly seems like an everyone kinda sucks situation, but considering Billy keeps shitting on women's wrestling and Mickie James was the driving force behind the Empower PPV I can kind of get why Aldis is pissed at him.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
So Nick Aldis posted then deleted an Instagram post saying he's done with the NWA due to a falling out with Billy Corgan and that he was embarrassed with the direction of the company he can't be a part of it. For what it's worth Billy said he was sick of Aldis's constant politicking so one would assume he's trying to get himself another title run and is boo boo facing backstage when he was told no.

Apparently getting his WWE gig back didn't keep Braun from being a douchebag on Twitter, even Mustafa Ali was roasting him. Coming off as Not Mad Online while his co workers dunk on him paints a picture of a guy not too popular with the boys.

FYI, GE hasn't owned NBC since 2013, Comcast owns it now.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
I suppose the last 8 years or so of seeing the most horrible people get to do whatever they want with practically zero consequences have jaded me to these kind of things. I fully acknowledge it's horrible but at this point getting mad about it honestly feels like pissing into the wind. I'm kind of envious of folks who can still muster anger at this point, I think I've just reached a level of outrage burnout. Probably not in no small part that in a week or so there's a good chance my state will be represented in the Senate by Doctor Fucking Oz.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Well it wasn't for the viewers, so that wasn't the point. Dave even said they knew the show was going to take a hit due to the World Series so they had a bunch of surprises so people would be compelled to watch on DVR after the game (which seemed to work since they apparently got a big DVR viewership for it).

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
It seemed pretty obvious that it was TK's apology to the boys for the mess that happened, and at the end of the day it was just part of Jericho's angle beating former ROH folks. If Colt becomes a weekly feature shoehorned on TV, then there's reason to be upset about it IMO.
