AEW TV 10/5-10/7
I can imagine MJF showing up in Tony's office jacked as fuck like "I wasn't lying about going to WWE"

I love that and now I'm going to be mad when it doesn't happen.

Bandido agreed to terms with AEW, which is probably the biggest news today would bring unless the Elite comes back.

I can get why people would be meh on Yuta. They tried, I'll give them that, but he doesn't come off like he's badass enough to hang with the BCC. Regal should be slapping the piss out of him and calling him Sunshine. If they established it more like the rest of the gang just keeps him around as a training dummy, or like a less comedic Brandon Cutler, maybe I would be more on board. It boggles my mind that people aren't feeling Garcia though. Dude's a great wrestler, and the slow burn of him getting buyers remorse for going all in on Jericho's bullshit has been very well done. Plus he has one of the most babyface backstories you can get, coming back from what should have been a career ending car accident. It feels like he's getting residual heat from people mad Jericho wormed his way into another top program. It's not like Jericho hasn't been holding up his end of the deal either, so I don't even get why people are mad at him. This whole program is clearly designed to set up Garcia as a top level guy, and so far they seem to be doing a good job since the crowds are clamoring to see him turn.

Dynamite has a 15 minute overrun, adjust your recording devices accordingly to not get screwed, bubbas.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Andrade's comment was more of a burn that it appears because CMLL is notoriously cheap when it comes to paying folks so for him to say a midcard CMLL guy makes more is devastating, Basically your choices as a wrestler in Mexico is work for CMLL who will pay peanuts and throw a hissy over every outside booking you get, or AAA who also will pay peanuts but let you work wherever you want to.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
That's more or less true, the money in Mexico is working for the off-TV events and AAA in particular is still in the 80s WWF "think of all the exposure you'll get from being on TV" mode.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Part of it is the Lucha mindset, guys have to basically be in Bruiser Brody mode in terms of looking out for themselves to the point it is very off putting to US promoters/wrestlers since we haven't really seen someone like that here since, well, Brody. That's where stuff like "WWE got mad Sin Cara acts like a big star" comes from. That's where LA Park and his famous difficult to work with stories come from. They came up in a business that is very much still in the "slimy territory promoter" era, so they are more or less taught to be difficult to work with. Having said all that, if you tend to be an asshole on top of all of that.....well that's where the fun starts.

IIRC she ended up with a fractured vertebrae from that bump.

The show run by the guy who's (allegedly) off his tits on Adderall seems rushed? Perish the thought

Meanwhile during all of this, Adam Cole is playing Super Mario RPG on his Twitch channel moisturized and unbothered.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
At least with MJF you get the sense that he's just kayfabing 24/7, Sammy comes off as actually a douchebag more often than not.

My takeaway from all this is that Ricky Starks is a goddamn legend.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
It sure seems in retrospect AEW's biggest misstep has been grabbing any and everyone they could without considering the effect it would have on the locker room. It's great having a bunch of great workers, but then you have to deal with the equally sized egos that go along with that.

I would take that interview with a sizeable grain of salt, since the issues he had weren't from not saying hi to folks but rubbing pretty much everyone he comes in contact with the wrong way. Basically Andrade comes off as someone with Main Character Syndrome, and is blissfully unaware of how he comes off to others. In related news, it also seems like he's done with AAA as well, so there's another promotion who didn't want to deal with his bullshit.

Io's moonsault reminds me so much of Muta's back when he still had knees. So crisp every time.

Looks like the White Rabbit clues this week are pointing to Bray (or whoever, but who we kidding) showing up at Extreme Rules.
