The 8/10 thing sounds so out of character as something Kenny would say I wonder if it is somehow being taken out of context or misconstrued, but if he said it it's absolutely a dick thing to say. It's weird since the initial reports that came out after the meeting is everyone was positive and feeling great (along with Danielson and Jericho coming off as true locker room leaders), and now the rumor is Kenny took a giant shit on everyone. Which was it?

Dave mentioned in the latest WON that the plan (before the Punk-ening happened) was to do some sort of angle with Mox to have a storyline reason to go on vacation.

People forgetting "All Friends Wrestling" really became a term thanks to Cody and pals. All the EVPs were guilty of getting their pals signed, but it seemed like Cody was especially bent on his guys getting featured as much as possible.

I think it's the setup for me. Everything has to stop while he does the wacky handspring setup and flings himself blindly at the opponent, and he does all that for a cutter which hasn't been used as a finish since DDP and Johnny Ace.

I realize there's several more important reasons to dislike Jay Lethal, but my pet peeve with him is the Lethal Injection is the stupidest move in wrestling.

They reacted to Ricky Starks, Lee/Swerve and Lucha Bros doing crazy shit, and the Acclaimed. AEW's in that same phase NXT 2.0 was at launch where they have to lay the foundation to get a lot of new shit over in a short period of time.

I hope Bryan wins, because no one wants to see Mox/Jericho again.

Looks like it's almost back to where it was during NXT 1.0, which on one hand is good news but on the other hand it took them a year plus to get back to where they were before.

Its been mentioned but it still seems like it's being undersold that it's pretty much been confirmed that Patrick Clark's firing (and the weird non reaction his last match from the crowd of PC trainees) was due to his pecker-checker cam in EC3's bathroom rather than him sliding in the DMs of some young boy. They apparently were ok with him being a creep until it happened to them.

The fans seem to want him to turn too. Everyone gets the "hey, that guy's back" pop at first, but you would think the massive "You Were Right" chants speak volumes.

I know he would be good at it, but man does babyface MJF feels weird. Like that dude is like pure essence of heeldom.

Funny thing is I can believe Kenny is the only one who doesn't care about the BS. He's the ultimate art-for-arts-sake guy, famously saying he couldn't work for WWE (in the Vince era at least) because he wouldn't have been able to turn his brain off for that length of time. I can see the Bucks getting full of themselves, and Cody clearly has not only his dad's mind for business but his ego too. Add Punk to the mix and its an explosion waitin to happen. I wouldn't be surprised that when the true story comes out on what happened in the fight it will come out that Kenny was just making sure Larry the dog didn't step on his Wrestle Kingdom booking ideas and had no idea anything was going on.

We never really heard of anyone claiming Cody was a troublemaker though, did we? That seemed to be a clear case of Cody's vision not matching what everyone else wanted to do so they all agreed it was best to move on. Now Brandi you can argue might have had some shit talked about her behind her back, as she seems to be itching to spill the tea now.

I just hope they keep the lighting from 2.0 and just ditch the 90s paint splash colors. NXT 1.0 looked like it was filmed in a warehouse in the bad part of town.

Also the end card looks like they are finally dropping the 2.0 name.

Right, because Punk has never been accused of being a toxic asshole before. Looking how things ended up evolving, the most likely scenario is Punk probably was in a happy place just to be involved back in wrestling with a major company not WWE. As the honeymoon waned, it's not impossible to believe the prickly asshole we all know and love emerged back out at some point. Especially if he started acting like the youngsters are required to bow to his knowledge at all times. I can easily see how that shit could get old real fast.

I don't get Zoey Stark, she's not terrible but I don't see the Main Event appeal they seem to.

Also I guess Quincy's gimmick is "Goldust if Dustin was actually LGBTQ"?

Since he showed up for Clash at the Castle, they should do a segment where Quincy meets Adrian Street.
