I was thinking about it, and this might have been my favorite PREMIUM LIVE EVENT of the 2.0 era. Every match was at or above expectations, and by and large all the right folks went over. Not crazy about Legado losing to the geeks, but I suppose skits with Santos playing Jimmy Garvin to Tony's David Von Erich will be entertaining at least.

It's especially egregious in UFC where nine times out of ten an interim title was created because Dana couldn't get a champion to fight the guy he wanted him to so he put a belt on someone else.

Especially since the idea of interm champs came about so boxing and MMA promoters can keep booking title matches when they can't get the champion to agree to a title fight.
