Cena (at the start of the Super Cena push) wasn't accepted like Bruno and Hogan were. I have no doubt if you find someone who connects to the crowd like they did you could do the babyface superhero push again.

Unbeatable champs work well as babyfaces (Bruno, Hogan, etc) because they can be superheroes vanquishing the evil menaces of the month. Heel unbeatable champs just make everyone look like geeks since you're asking the crowds to cheer for this month's dead meat. The psychology is all backwards, but such is 2022 WWE.

I'm sure Vince sees growing up in a house full of addiction is a weakness.

I have to say I was really enjoying the first half of Raw. Things were happening! Then of course WWE made me feel like a dope for caring about anything they do by having both promoted matches end in DQs.

Funny thing is by all accounts all of the problem children were pretty well behaved in MLW until LA Park when off the script.

Also it's amusing to me that "Cody doing a pedigree" was a babyface spot in AEW because he was sticking to to the Fed.....and it's still a babyface spot in WWE.

The main event had me thinking about no matter what else is going on, or how poorly the rest of the show is, WWE always seems to be very good at booking main event six man tags. It's almost like some sort of savant thing at this point, no matter who's involved its almost always great.

At least with Owen it was supposed to be that way since his character was always supposed to be a little dorky. Edge is trying to be Serious Evil Heel and ends up unintentionally hilarious.
