That's awesome to hear. As much as we banter about it, it's really not that difficult to book wrestling. Get good guys the crowd can get into, some villians to get in their way, and at the end of the day the hero triumphs. Sure, sometimes shit happens, people get hurt or leave or lose their smiles, but the theory behind it is as old as time and always works.

It's good for the newbies to have someone to learn from, but my god is Pete Dunne being wasted in NXT. Also yes, the Creeds absolutely should win the tournament. It's funny how Diamond Mine is the best thing going on NXT 2.0 and very little has to do with Roddy. The Creeds are great, Ivy going out there and just ragdolling folks is awesome, and of course Malcom the Tall King rules.

Vince very much reminds me of out of touch Verne these days. I'm remembering the story of how Verne didn't get what the name "Midnight Rockers" meant because he thought it was referring to rocking chairs. Also Verne's insistence on relying on older guys was another similarity to modern Vince. Some of that was out of necessity, but the AWA had a bunch of aging legends pretty much all the way to the end. On WOR last night/this morning Dave is pretty confident that Keith Lee will be showing up here soon, but he doesn't know for sure he's the guy debuting on Wednesday. Also all reports seem to indicate people in AEW are thinking Keith Lee is going to be the guy showing up. One thing for sure is it won't be Jeff Hardy, as he's still under a non compete.
