Good lord, Wheeler probably saved Lee Johnson's life (or at least his spine) by rushing to be under that dive.

WWE MIDCARD ROYAL RUMBLE 2022
I'm assuming Omos gets the Kane Memorial Tossin' A Lot of Dudes Out spot this year.

IMO wrestling is better when it's the proverbial Big Tent. Give me techinically superior wrestlers, flippy dudes, plunder matches, lucha style, blood and guts, and wacky gimmicks. One of WWE's worst sins is how painfully similar everything is, variety is king. An idea like Danhausen would never see the light of day there and regardless of what you think about him that says it all about them.

It does seem to be looking like WWE firing Jeff was a knee jerk reaction, maybe a fair one considering his past, but still. Dude seems to be doing okay and it seems like that night was maybe him just losing his last fuck to give on a random house show? He wouldn't have even been the only WWE wrestler to do that since Toni Storm seems to have done the same thing.

He's definitely not a character aimed at PWO regulars, that's for sure. It's also why you see all the "not for me, but good for him" posts.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
Bruce seems to have that charm about him where he is able to convince people he's the answer to their problems in wrestling, when literally all available evidence points to the contrary.

I enjoy his antics while realizing he is very much the type of person who rubs the "says wrestling should be wacky but doesn't like it when someone actually is wacky" crowd the wrong way.

It will probably never happen for a million reasons, but Miz showing up at Daily's Place like Jerry Lawler at the ECW Arena would be AMAZING.

Modern Indie Wrestling
I get why someone would be a letdown, but to GCW fans it was very much a big deal since Nick Gage is basically the human embodiment of GCW. It would be like ECW doing their first show and not having the Sandman on it.

Modern Indie Wrestling
As someone who's only seen bits and pieces of GCW from videos and gifs on Twitter, I thought it was an enjoyable show. A little messy at times, sure, but the whole vibe of the show was amazing and that made up for some of the sloppier parts for me.

Yeah his catchphrase "very nice, very evil" sums it up. He's clearly only one of those but the character believes he's both.

I didn't think it was that bad of a PPV, but stooging on a 16 year old is some petty bullshit.

AEW Dynamite - January 26, 2022 - Beach Break
His interview (out of character but his real voice is pretty similar so it was kind of jarring) with Chris Van Vilet was excellent. You can clearly see that he *gets* wrestling, and that he's someone who deserves all the success in life

When he was in ROH his matches were straightforward, and it didn't seem to hurt him so I would assume it would be the same here.

AEW Dynamite - January 26, 2022 - Beach Break
I did like how the announcers immediately recognized who Danhausen was (for the benefit of those at home who didn't) and not do the "who is that guy" nonsense WWE likes to do when someone debuts.

One thing I noticed is that it seems every wrestler loves Danhausen. Even Rock went along with it when he got tagged in his Twitter antics.

AEW Dynamite - January 26, 2022 - Beach Break
There's folks out there who crap on things people like, and there's always someone wanting to whizz in the punchbowl.

That's really cool to see. I know Danhousen isn't everyone's cup of tea but he's great guy who got some bad breaks (literally, in his leg) and I'm happy to see him land a contract.

I was surprised at the finish, but it's not like Cole is ruined by losing in a gimmick match.

Basically the Cleveland team's QB (Baker Mayfield) shit the bed when they played the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was coming in to it injured but it was still bad.
