WWE TV - 1/8 - 1/12 - They Hindered Jinder
The content of Punk's promos (and those of anyone in his nearest vicinity) have been...okay at best. Clearly they couldn't touch the meatiest parts of the story in his return for obvious reasons (the whole nearly killing him with z-paks thing comes to mind), but the people he's been paired up with seem to be noticeably tame in their promos towards him since his return. Seth being used a sockpuppet for the company in his promo was certainly a choice, and now you have Drew basically doing the same thing with the added twist of being made to look like a puss who got fired because he wanted Punk to hold his hand in the locker room. Plus Punk's response to these promos of "I came back because I just love WWE so gosh darn much" sound alien coming from the guy who retconned his whole WWE career out of existence in his AEW debut promo.

Also I love Wade being a big fan of the Meatyweight division.

It's nice to see Jinder being able to offer more than "guy Vince only sees as his ticket to the India market" At this point it seems like it's being done purposefully to avoid another Hangman type tantrum happening.

It's amazing to me that Rhea remains super over and Dom remains super hated, it's really a testament to the post-Vince era that WWE hasn't messed it up.

Current New Japan
At first the app was wonky but that's because the whole NJPW World site was absolutely fucked when they first did the recent revamp. Both seem to be working much better now, watched WK on my Roku with no issues at all.

Agree 100%, I'm here for Neo Era Legion of Doom.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
You know, looking back why did anyone suspect Andrade would show up immediately in WWE when his wife was set to have her knee reattached within the week and he's probably want to support her during that.

I'm down for anything that gets Sid on TV in 2024

Current New Japan
Nemeth seemed very much a guy who'd had all the passion sucked out of him the last few years in WWE, I wouldn't be shocked to see him go on a tear in a fresh environment.

Bryan looking like the happiest bastard on the planet for getting to finally have a big Dome match is heartwarming as fuck.

The Nemeth bros showing up at WK? The hell?

lol Tanahashi becomes office and beats ZSJ for the TV title, that's the most Japanese way to play HHH.

Current New Japan
It's weird that I, someone who cut my proverbial internet wrestling teeth watching low quality Realplayer vids of Japanese wrestling in the late 90s, completely forgot WK was tonight until I saw the live update pop up on the Observer site. I did notice on the NJPW World app that the Japanese feed for the show has Sanada/Naito on the banner and the English feed has Okada/Danielson.

AEW TV - January 3 - 6, 2024
So YouTubeTV just decided not to record Dynamite this week, lame. However TK is putting his money where his mouth is (literally) by signing Deonna after saying he wanted to bolster the women's division this year.

WWE TV 1-1 to 1-7 - Former Champion on Day 1 of the New Year
He's basically Neo Lex Luger at this point.

Say what you will about The Rock, but he makes this shit look effortless.

WWE TV 1-1 to 1-7 - Former Champion on Day 1 of the New Year
Am I crazy i thinking there could be something in Jinder as modern day Bret Hart? They could even bring up that he's actually Canadian too?

I suppose they could just have Joe murder fools so Swerve can be the one to slay the beast.

Toni Storm put her hat and glasses on him during her part of the press scrum.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
It's actually even grosser than that when you remember Kylie has documented mental health struggles, and her sudden disappearance from AEW was, IIRC, the first time a story like that made the news. So as brother @Dav'oh mentioned, it's not the most outrageous story of our times, but it's starting to look like something happened that fucked her up mentally which deserves a little more than being treated like some fake Twitter outrage.

According to the recap on the Observer site, yes. A reporter from USA Today and Kevin McElvaney the editor of Pro Wrestling Illustrated of all places asked about it.

Worlds End
The MJF/Cole stuff was absolutely on fire, but after Cole got hurt MJF really seemed to fizzle out. His own injuries surely weren't helping matters either, as he really couldn't do anything other than promos for the last month and change. Him coming back after some time away to see revenge on Cole (who should be wreaking havoc while he's away) should make for a pretty hot PPV main event when the time comes.

Worlds End
Let's not forget the women's division has Serena Deeb coming back now too, which will be a needed jolt. TK said he wants to put more focus on women, which is why they're doing a ROH women's TV title to use that to build up the division.
