WWE TV 07/22 - 07/28 RAW Reunion! Candice Michelle is back!!!
Oh it's great for AEW to see the top dog melt down like that, no question. I don't think anyone's arguing that point.

Wrestling Twitter: lol Maria bested Nash as the smartest person in wrestling by nabbing another contract then getting pregnant again! Nash (and the rest of the Kliq): hold our beers. Also the "he's taking food off my table" remark in regards to Moxley is 100% a Vince line when he feels the heat from competition. He (and people he was sockpuppeting) would say it about Ted Turner and WCW all the time when WWF was getting their asses kicked. It's probably a correct assumption to guess Vince is going around telling the talent that AEW is trying to run them out of business and kill their little ol' family business because he only knows one way to react anymore.

According to today's WO radio show, it was supposed to be Ricochet in the Seth role "getting the rub" but he wasn't cleared due to the most fortuitous elbow infection in history.

It was something to see Seth get absolutely made a geek by standing by himself like the weird kid in school with no friends while the Kliq reenacted their MSG huddle. Especially after all the effort he put into being a good company man on Twitter at the cost of his credibility, he gets to look like a fan gawking at the real stars.

Corey, after Nattie's music hit: "So you just mention Canada and a Hart shows up, is that how it works?" Renee: "Generally, yes" I give credit where it's due, that exchange popped me.

No, especially when half of them were like Sami said, they weren't legends they were just people who were there at the time.

Ted should have offered Corey $500 to dribble a basketball 10 times, then kick it away at 9.

That reminds me, that was the best possible use of Ron Simmons since his was pretty much everyone's reaction to that gimmick.

The tag team match probably would have came off way better had it not been at the end of a long show where the fans were probably worn out from being in Florida heat that long.

WWE Network... It's Here
Watching 1984 Mid-Atlantic today, and another one of those things that aged poorly through no one's fault is Paul Jones and the Assassin referring to their enemy list as "the registry".

WWE TV 07/15 - 07/21 Flipping burgers to become Ambassador
Because that was probably the original plan, and that's what they're probably going to tell the FOX people. Paul's been in and around the company for years and was already helping folks so him running creative for all of Raw was less of a leap than it would be for Eric who most likely hasn't seen a second of WWE TV in years. It seems like the company realizing a guy like that wouldn't be the best fit to run creative for all of SD is more likely than Dave suddenly making something up out of nowhere.

His replies when asked on Twitter if he'd ever be put in the WWE HOF seemed to indicate he didn't think they'd ever want him back, but it seems like Vince's plan is to throw piles of cash at anyone even slightly associated with AEW (which by the way has been quite the tell that he's way more concerned about them than any other attempt at competition since WCW).

Also the CMLL edecanes dressed up as Liger for the main event intros, which also featured an awesome performance from a Japanese drummer.

Unless he gets a Maria-like stupid money deal, I honestly would be shocked to see him go there. He didn't seem to enjoy working there the last time (granted it was forever ago but it's not like it isn't the same guy still in charge) and he seems to really enjoy calling baseball games.

Also Arena Mexico looks like a sellout, so Liger is still a draw in Mexico.

I mean, it's blunt but not wrong. Mexican fans don't give a shit about what would offend American viewers, and they aren't likely to change because they got offended at it. The only thing that would stop is for the luchadoras to make a fuss, and that sadly isn't likely due to the small amount of work available.

So apparently Tony Schiavone okey-doked MLW. Court's claiming he's still under exclusive contract and didn't know Tony did anything for AEW until he read about it in the Observer. I suppose there's also the possibility that Court's just lying out his ass here, but "I'm clueless about what other promotions and also my contracted people do until I see it in the WON" isn't the best look either.

I was thinking it might be clever to have Cody bring in Baby Doll as a counter to Shawn Spears having Tully as his manager (since she has ties to both him and Dusty), but based on her Facebook posts she probably doesn't want to do business with a company that donated to victims of gun violence.

RIP Paco Alonso
It's actually not uncommon in Mexico for wrestling and church to mix, AAA has a mass they do every year and Fray Tormenta not only is a real priest he was involved in getting over the original Mistico (the videos that introduced the character had him giving Mistico the mask).

Tony has a contract with MLW but they don't seem to be mad if their people work AEW (see also: MJF)

This really is the best possible outcome. Let him be the face of the company for the FOX suits and convince them everything is fine when the ratings don't meet expectations, and maybe his schmooze powers will keep them from getting demoted to 3am on FS2.

This Friday is the Liger farewell match in CMLL, and the semi-main is the return of LA Park team with his sons against the Munoz family (Rush, Mistico, Bestia del Ring).

WWE Hidden Gems
So since Tod Gordon bought out Joel Goodhart, and Paul bought out Tod, I wonder if anything was filmed of the pre-ECW Tri State Wrestling anywhere in the pile.

Wasn't he supposed to have an iron clad deal though?
