Damn dude, who hurt you to have this much anger for a promotion running it's first show on their own? I will say it is kind of giving me nostalgia for the WWF fans vs WCW fans battles of yore. Even before the Monday Night Wars made it cool, it always seemed like there were folks who hated the very concept of the opposing promotion, as if Vince or Crockett murdered their mothers.

So in other news, Deano Machino was announced as a senior producer/coach today.

Cody is pretty protective of his dad, I don't think it would be far fetched to believe that pissed him off. Too bad for him it's the one person in WWE his fanbase won't allow anyone to make jokes about.

R-Truth is probably one of the more underrated guys on the roster, he can seemingly make anything work. If he can be the Crash Holly of the 24/7 title, maybe they have something.

He stumbled into the spot because of Ali, but he stayed there because it got over and clicked with the fans at a level almost nothing else does in today's WWE. Giving all the credit to Daniel (while he certainly deserves a portion) is suspect as hell.

I'm not saying anyone critical of Kofi is racist, but it does seem like a lot of folks in the wrestling bubble are eager to deem this run he's on a failure. Lots of minutiae and nitpitckery that I don't recall other recent champs having to deal with. I don't blame folks for thinking it's another case of a black person having to work 2x as hard to get the same amount of benefit.

Was it ever confirmed if they have any GCW TV in good condition? Wondering if it's somewhere in an unlabeled box next to where the Last Battle footage was found, or if it was just not Network quality enough for WWE.

I was sure it was either him or Knobs that got hurt there. I will say Norman Smiley doing a Courage the Cowardly Dog gimmick as the guy scared of his shadow who somehow got roped into hardcore matches was one of the few entertaining-on-purpose moments in late era WCW.

Finley nearly cutting his leg off in that stupid junkyard brawl WCW did was reason enough to never bother with any hardcore stuff again.

I remember hearing once that Park likes to remind people occasionally he can actually go, the dancing stuff got him over but he can bring the fat ass dives when need be.

Maria also kinda-maybe-sorta asked for her release before backtracking, so she's in a rough spot when it comes to this. Also it's McDevitt stating she is saying she doesn't remember which is different than Maria saying it herself.

Also it just occurred to me that on top of everything else, the 24/7 title looks like a cheap knockoff boxing title belt instead of a wrestling belt.

Also Reby Hardy blames her for Matt's drug problems starting back in the day as well, she made an ass out of herself on Twitter coming off like she was happy to hear Ashley died.

Funny how this is basically exactly the same as the Hardcore title, just minus the stupid unnecessary head shots guys took back then, and everyone's shitting on it.

It certainly was WM level match somewhere around 1999-2005 which seems to be the entirety of MBS's wrestling fandom. In 2019? Not so much. I don't think even the most fervent WWE supporter really wants to see those two creak around in a Mania match now. If these shows become the equivalent of the WWE Senior Tour, I'm fine with it. Let MBS book the old timers and keep current Manias to only the standard HHH Epic in terms of that generation.

To be fair.....as fair as one can be when talking about this arrangement at least.... they really toned down the most appalling part of the deal already. The first Saudi show was basically a puff piece saying how wonderful and progressive the Kingdom is now, and basically serving as a big wet kiss to the royal family. MBS blew all that PR himself, and now these are basically paid spot shows for him to play IRL e-fed booker. They don't really matter much in WWE storylines, and it seems like the only hook left is saying it's "as big if not bigger than Wrestlemania" which would be a slap in the face to people who pay to go to Mania if it wasn't such a blatant attempt to give the Saudis some value for all the money they spent.

Let's not pretend the military doesn't have issues with sexual assault amongst its own ranks that tend to get ignored or fall through the cracks, let alone one involving a civilian. Let's just say when two entities known to have issues with assault come together, I tend to believe any stories that come out. Especially the detail that was given in her description. Like someone on the WO board stated, if she made up the assault, she missed her calling as a horror writer because those details were ghastly. It's like, with Kofi there's never really been any time (other than that one years ago that ended with the Orton match) where he was ever given the chance to run with the ball. Dolph was given chance after chance and never really made it, so a jealousy angle really isn't earned.

That seems to willfully ignore the case in question was about concussions and CTE, but then Dave has always had a noted issue with believing women in these matters.

Funny, it just came up as a mailbag question on WO Radio the other night about Ziggler's status. Dave was saying they were trying to make him an agent since they didn't have any plans for him (hence the reason he's been off doing stand up gigs). Guess they came up with something.
