Whoever was chanting for CM Punk during a fucking Kurt Angle/Chad Gable match needs to be banned from ever watching any wrestling ever again.

The DEA raided him for improper use of donated money, he took it from the charity's account and used it at a casino and for personal expenses.

Well it took them five years, but they are finally going to give the Warrior Award the way it was intended. Sue Aitchison, who has been with the company over 20 years is the liason between them and Make-A-Wish (among other community relations things) was named this year's recipient.

That reminds me, she appeared in one of Xavier Woods' videos playing D&D which to me was more business exposing than anything Ronda did.

I look forward to there being more Dana Brooke truthers online because she looks like a different person without all the heavy WWE makeup.

Current Lucha Talk
It was actually a pretty good show all things considered, I didn't notice any technical issues other than someone forgetting Super Fly got killed in a previous match and played his music for the Rey de Reyes match. I also watched the Spanish feed so I assume Vampiro was horrible as usual on the English one.

The Lucha Brothers won the tag titles, the Bucks came out and they did the Hogan/Yoko WM 9 deal where they challenged them and won the belts.

Current Lucha Talk
Cody announced to the Mexican fans that not only would AAA stars be appearing in AEW, that AEW guys would be showing up in AAA as well. He also announced that Hugo would be the Spanish "correspondent" for AEW. Konnan and his crew came out to confront Cody about making announcements without asking him first, and seemed to imply there would be a match between Cody and Taurus at some point.

So CMLL did their show where they honor Salvador Lutteroth and another legend, and this year's was Blue Demon. This ended up unexpectedly amusing since Demon's biological non-wrestling son was there to represent the family and not Blue Demon Jr. (who beyond his actual relation to him is main eventing AAA's shows and wouldn't be there regardless), and got booed hard by the hardcore Arena Mexico fans. AAA has Rey de Reyes tonight, and all signs are pointing toward AEW involvment. The Bucks were photographed in the Mexico City airport, and the thinking is they'll end up in the match for the AAA tag titles (it's kind of a giveaway they would never have a tag title match in the main event slot unless something is going down). I believe AAA announced Cody would make an apperance but he obviously won't be wrestling since he's still recovering from getting his knee getting scoped.

Dave Meltzer stuff
It seems from context clues in their conversations Garrett lives near Dave, perhaps they are IRL friends?

WWE TV 03/11 - 03/17: Exposing civilians by fabricating lies
We should make a list of people who got their momentum derailed because Brock had to be kept strong. I know Vince has a fear of creating the impression WWE is losing guys, but at the end of the day he basically was shoveling money in the furnace just to keep Brock.

Dave Meltzer stuff
Because someone (Bruce? I forget now, one of the podcast mafia) used it as a sledgehammer to prove Dave doesn't know what he's talking about while purposely not mentioning he said it would be Hogan before the show. So now we have to deal with Dave having to individually reply to all the trolls who respond to him with "lol Mabel". Also holy shit every time I'm reminded of the ridiculous PPV cut Hulk had, fuckin' WCW man.

James Gunn got rehired to direct Guardians of the Galaxy 3, so it's been a good week for Big Dave getting things he wants.

Daniel Bryan as a star post-comeback: Pushes, Feuds, Matches and etc.
I remember someone here making the joke after he did the first full heel promo that we'll end up with Brie shaving her head next.

WWE TV 03/11 - 03/17: Exposing civilians by fabricating lies
The guy who accused Roman of buying steroids ended up being the one who derailed Braun's career. WWE kept him on ice in case the claims were legit and Roman needed to be pulled for Mania, and when it was clear they were bogus it was too late to do anything with him and we ended up with the Nicholas stuff. Once that happened, the shine was gone and he became another start-and-stop guy.

I guess it's a case of people not paying attention to lucha being a bonus since AAA should probably win that one in a rout. Yeah, WWE is boring but AAA routinely false advertises (when they bother to advertise anything at all), never start shows on time, have production gaffes out the ass, and continually fail at being able to do a broadcast in English.
-
Dave Meltzer stuff
There's so many things that people could jump on him for that would be legit, that doing it over his reaction to a match that everyone agreed was stupid seemed a little dishonest at best.

So Kayla must be like 3 feet tall since even Daniel Bryan was towering over her in that backstage segment.

Kofi's been here before though. When he was doing that feud with Orton he had the crowds ready to accept him as a top guy, and then they....didn't. I think that's why he got so hot this time, the people know he has the ability, they know under all the goofy pancake skits there's a guy who could be something if ever given a chance to run with the ball.

What's amazing is how fast Booker went from "well he's probably the better guy on this team" to "OMG why is he still teaming with his useless brother". I remember in their GWF and early WCW days the difference between them wasn't *that* big, yet after a short time Booker was clearly a upper-mid/top level guy and Stevie somehow got worse.

LOL @ "voted in by my peers", no one votes on the WWE HOF but Vince.
