If the MJF/Matt Cross match didn't happen, the main event would have ended on time. Maybe it's a coincidence but I couldn't help but notice that match was exactly the amount of time that had to be cut from the main event. We'll probably never know for sure, but it sure seems like guys who never had to time out a show of this level before wanted to squeeze in another match to get some guys a payday and now Marty is taking one for the team.

Vince must have watched that one Denzel movie, so now Big Bob has to go around saying MUH MAN to everyone.

I hate to be "the wrestlers from back then were better" guy, but holy shit are they so much better doing this than nearly anyone on the current roster.

Reason #179789 The Undertaker is the greatest gimmick ever: the older and grizzled he gets, the more he looks the part.

Drake's great, and if anyone can make it work he can, but it was just so random of a thing to just suddenly happen.

I can't think of a team where I have such opposing opinions of each guy than Drew and Dolph.

Surprising to see that Dave wasn't a fan of the Andersons back then, I don't recall very many (if any) bad matches of theirs. Also lol'ing at Iron Mike, Hall of Fame WWF Jobber, declaring the Tonga Kid a bridge too far.

Kinda killing Braun's gimmick having Drew stand next to him just as tall as THA MONSTER.

World Class Championship Wrestling on the Network
Bill Mercer was a sports announcer before/during his wrestling announcing career, so if anything she should have been better at it than Marc Lowrance. I always had the impression he was kind of bemused by all the wackiness of rasslin' and didn't spend a lot of time doing prep work.

I wonder how they'll end up handling the Bellas. Brie is fine on Smackdown with Bryan, but they get booed every time they appear on Raw.

I would imagine they never ran there because Chicago was AWA territory, the old school promoter's mentality of not invading another one's turf. They ran in the Northeast since Vince obviously wasn't playing by the rules.

As a video game enthusiast, it can't be stressed how difficult it is to get Japanese companies to understand they have to try to appeal to other countries. In most (if not all) cases, North America is the largest market for game companies but nearly all of them focus primarily on Japan and it's almost like if the West likes it, then that's a bonus. It's the same reason NA has never seen an English release of Mother 3, Nintendo literally can't comprehend that there are people outside of Japan who would want to play it despite it being the most requested game for decades. NJPW is no different. I'm not saying it as an excuse, but more of an explanation of why their expansion attempt seems be going in fits and starts. It's way outside the comfort zone for them.

From what I can tell CS is correct that NJPW World will have this available after the PPV ends, like they did with the US shows that were on AXS. Which actually works out for me, since by the time I get home from work it should be around midnight-ish.

WWE Network... It's Here
Going through the end of 1982 Mid Atlantic and so far "Masa" Fuchi on excursion and Rick "Rudd" (Rude) have showed up for jobber duty. I love when random stuff like that happens.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
Customer calling in to my work upset that All In (which he referred to as Starrcade WCW vs WWE) isn't going to be available on the WWE Network. Which is funny, since my place of work is not the WWE Network.

World Class Championship Wrestling on the Network
A lot of the WCCW stuff wasn't preserved well, basically sat in a warehouse in Texas heat, which is who so much of the stuff on the network has the "presented as best we can" disclaimer beforehand.
