  1. If he wants to do it, he could probably make a decent living doing the indy circuit to see if he really wants to try it full time without having to jump head long into the grind and/or bullshit of working for WWE.
  2. He hit a nasty headbutt that split his own head open legit.
  3. Real or not, headbutting someone with such force you bust your own head open in a worked environment is a stupid thing to do even by Japan's "what do you mean head shots are bad" philosophy.

The funny thing is with WWE's line of thinking Balor will get a rep for being injury prone out of this and Jinder will get a pass for nearly killing him twice (the spot where he kicked the rope into Balor's face and left rope burns on his forehead).
  5. Unless he gets diet tips from Jinder.

Alexa being able to pull the human equivalent of Grumpy Cat face at a moment's notice will never not be funny to me.
  7. Prime Time from 1987 is the next classic content being uploaded right now.

It seems to be forgotten that they did a stupid injury angle a couple weeks into American Alpha's run on SD that completely killed any heat their debut had. They were arctic cold when they came back.

The thing with Dave is that if you actually read what he writes and listen to the shows he's on, he usually drops enough hints to piece together what he's talking about fairly easily. The problem is that 90% of the people who @ him on Twitter only get what he said second or third hand from copy/paste sites that tend to paraphrase all the nuance out of what he actually said.

As much as I preferred this format as opposed to a full draft, doing it this way will make it seem that the show that goes first gets all the talent. SD still will have the freshest matchups going forward, and the writers there seem much better at taking someone who hasn't done much and make them interesting.

Per wwe.com they swapped Saxton for Otunga, and I'm sure somewhere JBL nodded in approval.

Also I love all the promos for this kids football show on USA when we haven't been "Steel Country" here in Pittsburgh for about 30 years.

Sasha might as well be carrying a neon sign stating she's turning heel soon.

Now teaming with the Shining Stars? That's a burial.

This is the greatest segment on Raw of all time.

It's probably because they're going to move the New Day to SD but it was nice to see them not 50-50'ing the Arrival on their second week in.

Shitty day for lucha for sure. Santo mentioned it on his Twitter and CMLL confirmed with a in memoriam graphic.
  18. The buddy I watched WM (and most of the Big Four shows with) watches Raw most weeks and never watches Smackdown. He's been a fan since the 70s but can't be bothered to keep up with all the content
  19. http://www.thecubsfan.com/cmll/2017/04/08/aaas-joaquin-roldan-has-passed-away/ AAA's Joaquin Roldan passed away at 63 today, apparently of cancer. He's been seen less recently and this probably explains why he was suddenly inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame last year when he was a heel on screen character, which didn't make a lot of sense at the time.

Also Coach announced that after "much soul searching" he wouldn't have WWE guests on his shows anymore.

They can rocket JBL into space never to be seen from again, but the people who foster the bullying culture will still be in place and just create another triggerman when the heat dies down.
  22. sek69 replied to sek69's topic in WWE
Coach really is quite the mix of WWE arrogance and ESPN arrogance, which is odd since he acts like a big shot but hasn't made it past the level of "guy who fills in when the real stars go on vacation".

It pisses off folks like us to no end, but the harsh truth is no one outside of hardcore fans gives two shits what WWE does. Outside of occasional dog and pony shows like TV talking head shows or meaningless congressional testimony, WWE could murder puppies at every board meeting and the outside world would respond with a collective shrug.

They absolutely should hold themselves to a higher standard but it should not come as a surprise when they don't.

He made clear to point out how tight JBL is with Vince and how his bullying can be (and one assumes *is*) seen as authorized by Vince to weed out the "weak".
