WWE Talk October 12 to October 18
I hope you're right, but remember it's impossible to underestimate how petty this company can be.

I wonder if Lana being positioned as the next Sunny/Sable "#1 Hot Chick" then suddenly not when Vince quote-unquote lost interest in her. I don't want to be all conspiracy theory here but it wouldn't shock me if there was some sort of proposition made that when turned down led to Lana in 80s music video denim outfits and punishments when they had the nerve to get engaged despite the "break up in kayfabe, break up for real" unofficial rule in wrestling.

He got practically zero offense in losing to Ryback, then Summer verbally berated him after the match and slapped his face while he just stood there like a bump on a log. If they weren't punishing the guy, they certainly seemed to go out of their way to make it appear they were.

On the plus side, once again the New Day was the best thing on the show. Big E doing his best Tommy Lee impression air drumming to Seth's theme was great.

I'd say they have Barry Horowitz as world champ, but at least he got some wins at one point. This is more like world champ Iron Mike Sharpe.

WWE Talk October 12 to October 18
So Sami Zayn tweeted about the famous promo where Dusty piefaced Steph, and she retweeted it and added how much she loved doing it and what not. Considering he was never allowed to be in front of a crowd again after that and all reports indicated she was pissed about it, this is quickly becoming my new least favorite WWE history revision. To be fair, it's probably largely due to her "PR is how the brands will win" tweet always flashing through my mind when she says anything.

So....Mistico I/Sin Cara/Mysteziz just returned to CMLL
It's odd he would jump when he was being programmed for what would certainly be a huge Triplemania match with Rey.

So....Mistico I/Sin Cara/Mysteziz just returned to CMLL
Well technically he returned to an All Elite show running Arena Mexico, but it's the same deal they did with La Parka when he returned. Considering they were building him as the top heel against Rey Jr this is a pretty embarrassing moment for AAA.

I'm unreasonably upset that WWE cut Devin so we'll never have a blowoff to her simmering feud with Dana Brooke and her condescending head pats.

WWE Network... It's Here
I'm fairly certain the reason they bought all the libraries was to use footage in DVD releases. Even if adding all the old footage only adds another 100k subs, it's basically free money for them and mind boggling why they don't do it.

The State Of The Amazing NXT Match Of The Year 2K15 And How It Affects The NXT Fanbase
Alexa Bliss can be the CEO. I never knew how much I wanted a York Foundation nostalgia act to happen until right now.

WWE Network... It's Here
What's funny is the stuff that would have needed the most time/effort to put up on the Network already was added. The Monday Night Wars Nitro episodes on WWE 24/7 were heavily edited to remove all mentions of Benoit. Those were all restored on the Network versions. Putting up the rest of the content from 24/7 is literally just a matter of copying over the video files.

WWE Network... It's Here
It's a self fulfilling prophecy. They stopped adding classic stuff a month or so after launch, so when people stopped watching they can point to it and say that's why they don't add more. They just added a boatload of ECW Hardcore TV after ignoring it for months, on the heels of finally getting around to adding more Nitros. Hopefully they get enough views to prompt them to add more.

NXT Takeover Respect
I get how it was a little much to have a ceremony at the end like someone was retiring or passed away, I don't get why people got so upset about it. This is Hunter's baby so of course he's going to be involved in some manner. At this point getting upset about them being involved is like getting mad at a duck for going in the water.

I saw someone bring up the point that when Bayley gets called up, are they going to have to reboot her back to the character she was originally when people were asking if she was supposed to be autistic? A big part of why she's over is how the character grew since the beginning and 98% of the Raw audience would have no reason to know why this childlike girl with a side tail who hugs everyone is supposed to be a big deal?

I've been getting the Jesse Ventura vibe from Graves for a while, and I like how he "tells it like it is" in a heelish way without going completely cartoon-obnoxious heel Michael Cole. Plus as a former wrestler, I like how the other two with no in ring background will ask him for a wrestler's point of view in a match which is something missing from WWE commentary. Also the Eva stuff is great because she's obviously a heel and of course the heel announcer would be rooting for her. He does go a little overboard with it, but I think that it's by design to a degree.

Bayley should be a gigantic star in WWE, but the sad fact is she's far more likely to be the next Emma on the main roster. There's practically zero chance the creative team is going to handle her character properly. Sasha heeling on Izzy was great since it was a heel doing dastardly heel shit and that's almost a lost art these days. All she did was take the bow off her head and the crowd reacted like she punched her out since heels rarely do anything bad.

The downside to NXT being able to snag some top level indy talent is it makes people forget that at its core its a developmental territory and as such most of the people there are going to be not great for a while. So when a team like the Mechanics show up that are obviously supposed to be in the mold of Ole and Arn, people get disappointed/upset they aren't at that level out of the gate.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
Plus they have women in the tournament too it seems. What's sad is that Impact is still on my list of shows to record on my DVR and I don't even watch it anymore. I watch Paragon Pro Wrestling on PopTV and CMLL on 52MX yet TNA is just too pointless to watch. In fact it reminds me of a friend/family member who does drugs and after many attempts and hoping they'll clean up, you just have to wash your hands of them and just let nature take its course without being an enabler.

WWE Talk October 5 to October 11
Actually I bet he does care since he has friends who've been active in the cause, but I'm not naive enough to believe he wasn't taking the opportunity to tweak the WWE in the process. Still, if what he says is correct (and by all accounts it is), his motivations for bringing it up shouldn't matter. I loved the people over on the WON board trying to use WWE releasing a Rise Above Cancer CM Punk shirt when he was there as proof he's a hypocrite. Knowing how corporate partnerships work, I doubt the individual wrestlers had a say in the matter. Also it's been funny to see so many wrestling fans act like jilted exes because they loved him so much yet he had the nerve to leave wrestling and go on with his life. It's the exact same thing they chastise Vince for doing.
