It's really been quite a thing to see how TNA hardcores and even employees are circling the wagons convinced people only think TNA is an unwatchable mess because the evil dirt sheets say so. And that Meltzer/Bryan/Wade/etc all must be on the WWE payroll and that's why they are negative.

Slammiversary was a pretty solid show. Yeah, a lot of the crowd was drawn by Von Erich nostalgia, but the matches were all well done. It's a shame that a lot of potential is getting wasted by all the silly bullshit on Impact every week. In fact, that's my two prong solution to fix TNA: 1. Actually promote your shit so you'll get more than 100 fans at houseshows. 2. Tell Dixie and the rest of your 1,000,000 heel factions to shut the fuck up once in a while and have actual wrestling matches on your wrestling shows.

Villano III is a strong contender, he's got the Abby coin slot forehead action as well.

Speaking of Jay Briscoe, the angle when they kicked off the Age of the Fall where he was hanging upside-down bleeding on Jimmy Jacobs spiked the ick factor for me.

I'm sure it will look better in HD (I hope at least), but that photo makes him look like he's running late to Comic Con.

As much as I hate to say it, this is starting to have all the markings of a project Vince is losing interest on. Except this time they boned their PPV revenues in the process.

I don't know of anyone who's held the "toilet humor is the funniest thing EVAR" mindset as long as Vince has. Even the biggest man-children usually move past that point by their 40s at the latest.

I would also like to see a Hogan-Giant-Robin Hood type moment, something that Raw is forced to go off the air in the middle of, thus sending people scrambling to the Network post-show to see what happened. WWE doesn't want to piss off USA/NBCUniversial so I wouldn't count on that anytime soon. Loss nailed it though, after the WM hype ended it's been shockingly ignored for what's supposed to be the future of the company. I only recall it being mentioned once on Raw that you can see the next PPV for $9.95 on the network. They're doing almost nothing to attract new viewers and zero in terms of retention of existing ones. I know us hardcores who want the whole WWE vault available are the minority, but there hasn't been anything done to interest those folks since the Clashes went up. There's tons of stuff already digitized and ready to go since it was on the On Demand service, the plan of "hold everything back for renewal time" is just going to train people that stuff only updates twice a year.

Meltzer seemed pretty confident plans were for Bryan to get the title back whenever he returns, I'd be down for him feuding with Rollins.

I kind of wish they would do it MORE. There are so many people on the roster who could benefit from doing something completely different. Especially since the main event of this show is Hated Babyface Cena vs THEDEMONKANE in 2014.

Part of me thought that was a rib on Jeff Hardy being Willow in TNA.

Vickie sneezing is an inside joke since Vince is a weirdo who thinks involuntary body functions are signs of weakness.

I don't think anyone's issue with Jim Ross was ever how he called a match. In fact, I bet he could do the current storyline exposition style of announcing better than the guys they have now. It must be absolutely demoralizing to the women how the commentators openly check out on their match every show. Yeah, we're probably not going to get a epic five star encounter but it just comes off so unprofessional to have your announcers just totally shit on every segment they do.
