Wait, we're really doing Cody vs Dom? That's amazing.

Getting rid of show branded women's titles is a good move. Now replace those tag belts that look like a stack of dimes.

Who had the GOAT picking MLS over Saudi money in the 2023 pool?

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
LA Knight has that charisma that gets over no matter where he goes. It happened in TNA, NXT, and now WWE. He may not be a technical marvel in the ring (although I'd argue he's as good in ring as he needs to be in his role), but he's got an appeal you can't deny.

Rush said he (and his dad) quit AAA
So I'm guessing Rush was noticing what was really moving tickets per the WO update: Rush took to Facebook Saturday to announce he and his father, Bestia del Ring, have quit Mexico's AAA promotion for a second time and are now "totally independent." He and LA Park were scheduled to take on Sam Adonis and Psycho Clown at July's Triplemania in Tijuana where the losing team would wrestle against each other in a mask vs. hair match at August's Triplemania in Mexico City. Mexican wrestling expert and writer Luchablog noted on Twitter that while the main event of AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Kenny Omega is big for those outside of Mexico, "that tag match (and the possibility of Park/Rush) was the big ticket seller."

Seeing KO was funny since I went to the Pirate game and got to see an IRL "clear the deck! cannonball coming!"

Seriously though, we all just are supposed to forget Rhea has the SD women's title? They just gave the new belt to the Raw champ and called it a day?

I could hear the sigh coming from Brazil all the way up here when she walked out, bubba.

I get what you're saying, but it seems the overall vibe about Vince is "it is what it is" rather than forgiveness. He's never going to fully go away until he's dead , so you're just going to have to live with it. Plus AEW's whole original purpose of existing was to give folks an alternative to what Vince was offering, so of course he's going to be used to get a reaction from the fans.

His problems were mainly being hard to do business with, and he's only banned from CMLL because it's run by weirdos who hold grudges until the universe ceases to exist. AAA would work with him tomorrow if he actually played ball a little.

The only time I enjoyed anything Corbin was involved in was when he was Pat Mcafee's punching bag on commentary.

In one segment Excalibur had to hype matches for Rampage, next week's Dynamite, Forbidden Door, and Collision. Dude is the hardest worker in the company.

That tag match was a fun lucha style brawl, Vance is starting to impress me going from Random Guy in the Dark Order to a proper student of the Munoz family violent arts.

Both guys have wanted this match for a while, and injuries/time/space kept getting in the way. I have no doubt both guys are going to go balls out.

It's not even nepotism (which would be weird since lucha is pretty much built on what family you come from) but that his wife runs the business side of things and is (allegedly) hard to deal with. Now that could just be macho culture resenting having to deal with a woman, but there seems to be a lot of "where there's smoke there's fire" as well. Also I'm sure he didn't win any fans when he went hard at one of his nephews for doing a "grandson of Santo" gimmick since he waned that for his son only.

Santito will be the only one never to lose the mask I think, barring things like untimely deaths. Everyone else will find their price eventually, that's pretty much how it works in lucha.

Atlantis is def. #1 on the list of most valuable masks on guys who could conceivably lose them. Psycho Clown is probably the top of the list of modern valuable masks due to him being at or near the top of AAA for so long.

I'll admit Corbin is the "irredeemable shithead" type of heel I generally enjoy, but I've never not wanted to aggressively ignore something he's involved with.

Brock is usually down for violence, i wonder if Cody wanted to do something especially Cody-like and he just "that doesn't work for me brother"'ed it.

Started NXT a bit late, as it was Cup match day for the RIverhounds. Sadly the clock finally struck midnight, but it was against the #1 team in MLS right now so there's no shame in that. I don't think anything could have got me into Baron Corbin in NXT, but his motivation basically being "you NXT guys got uppity when Vince wasn't around" sure wasn't going to do it.

To be fair that might be them setting up a mask match, Anniversary season is coming up soon and Atlantis is probably the most valuable mask they could put in a big match.

Funny how the heat Dom is getting reminds me of the heat Papa Eddie and Art Barr got in AAA back in the day.
