WWE DVD Releases for 2006
As clueless as they are with the current product, they seem to know exactly what the fans want from their DVD releases. Maybe they should let the Home Video department book for a while.

WWE DVD Releases for 2006
WWE.com posted a list: Austin vs. McMahon: The Definitive Collection Brian Pillman: Loose Cannon Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology Born to Controversy: The Roddy Piper Story The Spectacular Legacy of the AWA John Cena: The Time is Now I'm not interested in the Austin/McMahon stuff or the Cena stuff, but everything else is a must.

Tournament on RAW This Monday
They don't need to be wasting everyone's time with this shit, just have HHH come out and demand the title shot because he's the GAME-UHH and the King of Kings (side tangent: how come everyone's no sold Hunter using Jesus's gimmick?). He's come out and demanded shit before and got it, why not do it again and spare the viewers having to watch the whole roster job to HHH in one night.

Tournament on RAW This Monday
Stuff like this is so disheartening. We know HHH needs his binky back and now he's got to go over everyone first so when he does get it there won't be any believable challengers for him to face.

Hierarchy of Puro feds
It seems like every fed in Japan has offshoots these days, is there any clear way of explaining who's tied to who? Japan's starting to look like the territory days where there was a zillion promotions all affiliated with a larger group. Also, am I correct in placing the big 3 Japan feds as NOAH>All Japan>New Japan? I know AJ had some problems, but from what I can tell they've started to rebound and NJ has hit the skids hard.

Which wrestling move would you never take?
I've seen TAKA do it in his WWF run (when they were trying to get the Lightheavyweight divison over and he wasn't a jobber) and in Japan, and it always looked like a bodyslam to me. It was always sold as a head drop bump by whoever was taking it, but I never saw it that way.
-
Which wrestling move would you never take?
I dunno, I wouldn't fear a Michinoku Driver, it's just a bodyslam with the person delivering the move sitting on his ass. I'd fear TAKA not being able to lift me with his 12 year old girl arms, but the actual move wouldn't be bad.

Which wrestling move would you never take?
I watched a Steiners vs Benoit/Lyger match from New Japan and Scott hit that move on Lyger and I thought he killed him.

...and now for some TNA news
You know, I really wouldn't care as long as they had talent like this on the card. Besides, TNA is starting to notice that the Orlando crowds are completely shitting on JJ at every turn. So either he's going to drop the belt soon, or they'll move the tapings

...and now for some TNA news
I would think the Hart family's probably not too keen on working with WWE, especially since Vince is going to embarrassing lengths to try to bait Bret to come back for an angle. Plus I think that the more TNA grows, the less likely an up and coming indy guy is going to want to sign with WWE and suffer through the development process where you get stripped of anything that makes you stand out only to get shitcanned for not bowing low enough when the agents come visit.

Which wrestling move would you never take?
Steiner Screwdriver, especially considering who did it.

All sorts of weird WWE news from F4W
HHH is just pissed that WWE.com broke the news of Steph's pregnancy, since they're "divorced" in storylines. Carlito has been improving, but if they want to make him an Eddy subsitute, it's just going to bury him in the eyes of the fans.
-
...and now for some TNA news
Mistico, Tiger Mask, and Low Ki on TNA in a decent timeslot = OWNAGE

All sorts of weird WWE news from F4W
You'd think Vince's superstar legal team would stop making deals that require him to follow the rules of the agreement for longer than say...30 seconds.

Odd newsbits from Meltz today
I'd be in favor of that.

Odd newsbits from Meltz today
Part of the claim alleges Vince started off by showing her pictures of his wang on his cell phone camera, which if true makes him the only 60 year old who can work a cell phone cam.
-
Odd newsbits from Meltz today
Vince must have asked Tazz for some tips with the females. Second newsbit: I wonder which side is discussing Monday. I'd wager Spike, since they really seem to want to stick it in WWE's ass that they don't need them.

Wrestling thoughts that probably don't deserve
You're the only person taking that silly argument at all seriously. Coming here to bitch makes you seem quite pathetic.I'm usually pretty good at detecting sarcasm on the Internet, and it sure seemed to me that folks there seriously think ROH is a world title because AmDrag is awesome and the belt's been defended overseas. And because Gabe said it's a world title. I honestly don't care one way or another, it's just the logic used in some of the posts over there is really an extra level of idiotic. I commented here because this is the thread of thoughts that don't deserve their own thread, and I don't want to get involved in big fight over there since the admins are randomly banning people in their wrestling folder in an attempt to cut down on the dumbassery. Hence my "I'm probably going to get banned" comment. I'll try not to shed any tears over your proclaimation of my patheticness.

It has begun
I don't get why they let this shit go unchecked. Taker, who is pretty much the only guy who can say what he wants and not get punished, seems to have let the whole "someone with a blood-borne disease bled all over me" thing blow over with nary a fuss. I guess that sets the bar pretty high when someone gets asked to do something tasteless.
-
The 2006 Royal Rumble thread
Is is some sort of law that Taker has to have the shittiest opponent possible for WM? I mean, I admit Mark Henry's been solid since he's been back, but he's not worthy of a WM match against Taker. Between Giant Gonzales, Sid, washed-up Jimmy Snuka, let-me-job-so-I-can-go-to-WCW Jake Robers, way-past-his-prime Ric Flair....it seems the only quality opponent he's ever face at WM is Triple H.

It has begun
Yeah, and hearing them say how much Eddie would still want to be part of the show as if that somehow justifies what they're doing is almost more disrespectful than them doing it in the first place.

Sting helps TNA set new record high rating.
I like it, TNA deserves a prime time spot and it's not fair to put them head to head against WWE right now. It's also smart since wrestling fans are used to tuning in on Thursday nights.

It has begun
What's funny is Doane and Orton had a mini-feud in OVW because Doane was using the RKO and Orton came to OVW all "NUH-UH, NO YOU DIDN'T". Doane smoked Orton in the ring in the matches they had and that's probably why he got punished by being put in the "are they trying to embarrass these poor guys" Spirit Squad more than any ego problems.

It has begun
I have a feeling this will blow up in their faces. The fans seem to really get behind Rey and if he doesn't end up in a Mania title match it's going to pull the rug out from under one of their largest growing audiences (Hispanics).
-
It has begun
This is Booker-HHH all over again. You can justify anything a heel says if he gets his comeuppance in the end. Since we know Orton's penciled in for Mania, it makes what he says all the more tasteless.
