Undertaker DVD
C'mon, it's worth it just for the Yoko match alone. That's probably the greatest worst match of all time.

WO News and Notes
You know, I hate to say it but Shawn was right. Why should someone who's full time with the company do two clean jobs to someone only around to promote his TV show and won't even do a practice match to make sure everything's smooth? I don't agree with him doing the promo on RAW (since it muddled the face/heel dynamic for his program with Masters), but I can understand the frustration behind it.

Undertaker DVD
I worry that WWE is rushing some DVD sets too quickly without checking for quality. If I recall, the WM 21 problems came from them wanting to get the discs out as soon as possible.

Jericho....in TNA?
Whatever was at that link, it's now a 404 error. If Jericho is "working the smarts", couldn't TNA slap him for using their logo? Christ knows Vince would if someone was using the WWE logo in a rib.

Jericho....in TNA?
It would make more sense at this stage of his career. Less guaranteed money, but more time he can spend with family and with his band.

I'd agree on Buddy Roberts, but anyone who says Michael Hayes doesn't deserve to be in the HOF on his own merits needs to watch tapes of his work in World Class and Mid South. He'd get "I'm going to kill you" heat from the crowd just standing there not doing anything. Hell, you could make an argument just for how he helped make entrances and music a key role in getting over. I can see your point with not having active wrestlers included, but you have to consider a wrestler is never completely retired until death. Even Lou Thesz wrestled when he was 74. It's the nature of the beast that guys (especially now) will always come back for one more payday.

WO News and Notes
Well the Dudz had a contract that they just let expire, Jericho (apparently to the best anyone can tell) has no contract with anyone right now. Speaking of, the Dudleys were rumored to be going to TNA too. Bubba even said they might go there for a while before trying to get back with WWE. He didn't seem to think it would burn any bridges. I don't think there's really anyone in TNA right now who has the power to fuck with anyone politically, and they'd be stupid to allow it to happen if they got someone like Jericho.

That would be right up there with Luger appearing on the first Nitro if Jericho showed up on TNA. Can you imagine Jericho finally being allowed to do his shit again? I think if TNA could make any sort of respectable offer he'd consider it, just the idea of not having to deal with HHH again would have to weigh heavily.

1. Fabulous Kangaroos 2. Bruiser and Crusher 3. Rock n Rolls 4. Fabulous Ones 5. Midnight Express (you could argue both versions seperate, but I won't) 6. Fantastics 7. Freebirds 8. Von Erichs (David, Kevin, Kerry) 9. Road Warriors 10. Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard 11. Arn and Ole Anderson 12. Gene and Ole Anderson 13. Dudley Boys 14. Sheepherders 15. Wild Samoans 16. Hart Foundation 17. Steiner Brothers 18. Eddy Guerrero and Art Barr 19. Doc and Gordy 20. Kawada and Taue I'm sure I'm missing tons of 60s, 70s teams plus tons more international teams.

What happened on RAW?
I thought Angle-Shelton was one of the best WWE matches I've personally seen all year. That was some fine quality professional wrestling. The Kerwin White gimmick comes off has funny-cheesy at first but then he starts being so blindingly racist it kills whatever vibe the segment has. I'm guessing if/when the backlash hits on this, WWE will try to hide by pointing out Chavo is mexican and therefore this really isn't race baiting. I like the concept of Cade/Murdoch. There's always a place in wrestling for cowboy gimmicks. I just hope that Vince doesn't need to turn this into some weird sexual fetish like everything else.

Cade and Murdoch
He does look more like Dick Murdoch, but somehow I doubt he's as good a worker as Captain Redneck was.

Cade and Murdoch
WWE seems to be trying to package them like Dusty Rhodes and Dick Murdoch, with a Deliverance twist. We all know Cade, who's Murdoch? Anyone want to wager what direction they'll go with this?

That's kind of like saying the Beatles shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame because Ringo and George piggybacked in on John and Paul's shoulders. If a tag team can draw huge, I don't see why they should be cordoned off into their own HOF because the whole sometimes (usually) is greater than the sum of its parts.

Ultimate Fighter 2
Was Dana White all over the show? Meltz was saying he's in danger of becoming another Vince, putting himself all over his company's TV programming.

TNA PPV lineup
I know it wasn't an exact comparison, but ECW fans were the only thing I could think of that was in the same ballpark as the TNA crowd at that PPV. I loved the dueling chants during Daniels-Aries too, that's the kind of shit that made me a fan in the first place. Remember when the fans at the old Techwood studios Saturday Night shows used to come up with chants for the jobbers? "Come on *jobber's name* you can do it, put a little OOMPH into it!" That shit used to crack me up back in the day.

TNA PPV lineup
I watched the show last night and what I enjoyed the most was how the crowd was into every match. I marked out for the "This is Awesome" chants during Joe-Styles, I mean when do you hear a WWE crowd get that into the show? If it's not HBK in Montreal, you don't. It reminded me so much of the early ECW crowds that really appriciated good work.

WWF blurring
The logo stays, but when someone says "WWF" the F gets muted out.

Things in WWE you like that everyone hates
Just a few months ago, people were praising Big Dave's pimp suits. Did the IWC pull a Strike Force turn on him too? Im not really sweating the IWC. Whats with your Strike Force reference? It's my way of referring to the IWC habit of jumping off someone's bandwagon once they start getting over with a wider audience. The Strike Force reference is in regards to Rick Martel famously walking out on Tito Santana mid-match, beginning his awesomely underrated heel run. It's become my favorite analogy to bandwagon jumpers since Martel turned just as the team was at its most popular point.

Who exactly are these Meltzer stooges who cast the votes?
-
Observer HoF
Well there you go then. Any alleged HOF that hinges on the opinion of one person has zero credibility no matter what.
-
Observer HoF
So its entirely up to Meltz who gets into the HOF? I'm just trying to get my head around HHH getting in the Hall if Meltz is the doorkeeper. He slags on the guy just as much as any other IWC reporter.

Don't the readers vote on the Observer HOF?
