WWE TV 03/06 - 03/12 Cena is back!
Interesting that not only did Cena go extra hard at Theory, he specifically mentioned him getting torn up by the Raw After Mania crowd. I wonder if that means they have some big angle planned with him.

I haven't seen anyone being pro-child assault, just some folks who feel MJF doesn't need to be shunned to the cornfield over it. He fucked up, and by all accounts the company did good by the kid and I'm sure TK tore him a new ass over it.

For as much as they like big/tall guys, they never seem to know how to push a giant. Andre seems like an anomaly and even that was Vince Sr's booking.

They're gonna need a mop for the reaction the Sami/KO reunion when it finally happens.

The only flaw I see in that logic is that would imply Vince showing restraint, which there's zero precedent for.

If nothing else, they made a star out of Brody King in that match. Dude was an unstoppable beast.

(tbf I think the only creative Vince is involved in is with Brock, since Brock is a Vince guy)

AEW Revolution 2023
One major plus for this show, is TK seems to have finally learned not to overstuff every PPV show with a dozen plus matches. Yeah, the main was going an hour and that was probably part of it, but only having one match on the pre show was a breath of fresh air.

I am, where do I fall on that statement?

AEW Revolution 2023
This is my takeaway as well. Setting aside running the risk of picking the wrong person, doing anything physical with someone not clued in beforehand just isn't cool. You can do the whole "heel tears up a fan's sign" bit all day, but when you start throwing drinks at unsuspecting people that crosses a line.

AEW Revolution 2023
Kind of, she was just sort of the avatar to represent "Bayley is for the children". Either way the Sasha deal was unplanned, so even if Izzy was part of the story she wasn't clued in to that happening.

AEW Revolution 2023
Honestly I think it was planned all along. FTR needed time away to heal up nagging injuries, and for some reason people on the internet took their friendship with Punk to mean they are somehow on the outs with AEW. Clearly the stuff with the AEW twitter not acknowledging them in their post congratulating the WON Award winners was a work, and people once again bought it hook, line and sinker. What I find funny is when it happened, Dave said something along the lines of if FTR didn't show up to be part of the tag team battle royale deal then there "might be another story". Having Orange and Danhausen win the thing was a big red "clearly something is planned here because there's no way this team should be in a tag title match" flag, and part of me wonders if TK was working Dave in all this to a degree.

If I had to hazard a guess, it seems like they are trying to do like the 80s where you rarely saw the world champ wrestle on TV so when you did it was a special occasion. Of course back then the champ worked 300 days a year on houseshows and AEW doesn't do any (yet). I distinctly remember as a kid seeing Ric Flair team up with Tully and Arn against 3 jobbers on Saturday Night and thinking "wow, the champ in wrestling on TV".
