The Jags actually made quite a turnaround, they were the laughingstock of the NFL with Urban Meyer being way over his head as coach and only winning two games. They went 9-8 and won their (admittedly weak) division this year and their new coach was in the discussion for Coach of the Year for being able to pull that off. From what I've been able to gather Tony is basically like a numbers and stats guy for both the Jags and Fulham so it's not like he's hands on with the day to day operations of either team. Its still a lot for one person to have on their plate for sure, but not quite the workload people make it out to be.

To be fair, they were doing the "Usos are having a legendary title run" when he took over, then the Bloodline caught fire and it would have been counterproductive to take the belts off them.

It would have been interesting to see if Magnum had gotten the belt, if it would have been more than a month or so run anyone not Ric Flair would get.

I think that's why tag team wrestling got popular enough that it could main event in JCP, you always had multiple viable contenders who could hold the belts.

I grew up watching it and its largely what made me a lifelong fan, but a big drawback of NWA/JCP/Crockett booking is that there was never really anyone built up that could be a credible babyface champion.
