So far, my show predictions are making me look pretty dumb right now. So it goes.

A bold prediction to make right before the Big Show comes out for an IC title match... Hahahaha! Would have been more appropriate if I said it when Miz was coming out. Anyway, the Rusev and Sheamus matches were letdowns and I wasn't happy with the layout of the Arrow match. We are running out of matches to kick this show to another level. What, dude? You got a 50-year-old broken down Undertaker in the main event. What can possibly go wrong? lol. The more of Summerslam that goes on, the more I'm appreciating Takeover from yesterday.

If someone were to say that Stardust was the worst wrestler in WWE, or worst gimmick or worst anything... I wouldn't argue with them. I would just nod and move on. Dude is fucking terrible. I wish I could some how fast-forward this shit.

No idea why that tag match didn't open the show. Shit was a ton of fun. Glad New Day won. I'm 1-1 in predictions so far.

Guess I'll put my predictions in writing before the show starts, just so I can see how wrong I am later with the WWE booking: Prime Time Players© Vs. New Day Vs. Los Matadores Vs. Lucha Dragons I think New Day win because the other teams, including the champions, never do anything on TV. I had even forgotten PTP were the champions, while New Day seems to be catching on with live crowds. Ryback© Vs. The Miz Vs. The Big Show If Ryback is healthy again, I have no reason to believe they'll take the belt off of him. The Big Show certainly doesn't need it. The Miz is OK without it. Dolph Ziggler with Lana Vs. Rusev with Summer Rae Dolph just came back, so I assume he gets the returning babyface win, even though I'll hate it. Cesaro Vs. Kevin Owens Cesaro will always be over with smart fans because he's a good worker. Owens is newer & needs a big win, after dropping quite a few in a row, including two to Cena and two to Finn Balor. King Barrett & Stardust Vs. Neville & Green Arrow Stardust is the drizzling shits but even if he wasn't, I still wouldn't bet against a celebrity winning on a big WWE show. Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper Vs. Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose Sticking to my Ambrose heel turn prediction. Nikki Bella, Brie Bella & Alicia Fox Vs. Tamina, Naomi & Sasha Banks Vs. Charlotte, Paige & Becky Lynch Picking the babyface team. Charlotte can look strong, setting up a single's match for the title later. Nikki keeps the belt no matter what anyway. Sasha had a great match last night but I imagine there will be dissention in the ranks of her team. Randy Orton Vs. Sheamus No matter who wins, we, the fans, lose. Sheamus has MITB, aka "get some heat back" so I assume Orton just to get the RKO pop. John Cena Vs. Seth Rollins I learned a long time ago to never bet against John Cena. Even if they do have him lose on major shows, like he did to Daniel Bryan at Summerslam. I wouldn't be surprised if Cena won the title, then Sheamus cashed in to win it after losing earlier in the night. So John Cena can be at the title match at Wrestlemania with being the new all-time champion holder on the line in addition to the title. Although I don't think it'll be against Sheamus, as he'll drop it before Wrestlemania. I don't feel like the Seth Rollins experiment has worked out all too well. That's probably not happening as that's exactly what they did with Daniel Bryan... but I don't know. Seth retaining just seems like such a bore. Brock Lesnar Vs. The Undertaker The Undertaker winning doesn't do anything for anyone. Brock has been built up as a destroyer, having him lose to 'Taker now would kind of defeat the point of him ending the streak & killing Cena for the title in the first place. And I don't think ANYONE wants to see a third match if 'Taker wins. I'm picking Brock because I'm hopeful & because I think 'Taker only came back in the first place because the ratings were shit.

Which is seen by more eyes: NXT Takeover Brooklyn, with The Four Horsewomen doing the curtain call on WWE Network, or Triple H tweeting behind-the-scenes, kayfabe breaking photos to his 2.33 Million followers. I have a problem with all of it, mind you, and think shit like that is a big reason why heels can't get any heat nowadays.

I agree that in this day & age in WWE, the main event if the match that goes on last. That's why CM Punk was so pissed about not going on last & didn't consider a match with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania as the main event. That being said, acting like a jackass in this thread is not going to accomplish anything other than to piss people off while you act like a bitch.

WWE could have a big thing here. It's really an untapped demographic for them. Lord knows I'm sure a lot of the male wrestling fans would not object to more women being around at the shows. If WWE could treat the women with respect, not as sex objects, and actually give them good roles & stories it would probably catch-on. Granted, how many people currently employed by WWE share the sentiments just expressed by Greg The Hammer Valentine the other day? *sigh*

Joe's entire NXT run so far can be, at best, described as flat...so he needs to show something. He's been working like he's injured, doesn't give a fuck or both...and it really shows. In his very first match in the company a guy nearly died. Even if it wasn't his fault I'd imagine that would have to rattle you quite a bit. Damn, that's a good point. I had completely forgotten about that.

I still don't know why they made the Vaudevillains #1 Contenders instead of Cass/Enzo. This is a PPV in Brooklyn, of all places. Cass/Enzo have Carmello to play off of Alexa. I don't know, just seems...odd. Like they had the Vaudevillains win just for the swerve. I assume that Blake/Murphy retain & feud with Enzo/Cass more down the road but I'm not sure if it will ever be a better time than tonight would have been for Enzo/Cass. They probably just want Blake/Murphy to reign longer, or maybe they have different, main roster plans for Enzo/Cass or something. No idea. Still seems pretty random. Like, weren't the Vaudevillains even heels when they beat Enzo/Cass too? So it was initially heel/heel match-up between the Vaude & B&M, right?

NXT Takeover Brooklyn is tonight on the Network. Looks like it's only a 2-hour show. Thought this should have it's own thread. Anyway, the card: NXT Title: Finn Bàlor© Vs. Kevin Owens (Ladder Match) NXT Women's Title: Sasha Banks© Vs. Bayley Samoa Joe Vs. Baron Corbin NXT Tag Titles: Blake/Murphy (w/ Alexa Bliss)© Vs. Vaudevillains Jushin "Thunder" Liger Vs. Tyler Breeze Apollo Crews (Uhaa Nation) NXT in-ring debut Sold out Barclay's center ("more than 13,000 fans"), so crowd should be hot. Although I'm sure they don't have as many seats up for NXT as they do for Summerslam. Not sure how that all works.
