From the Flair / Steamboat interview on that podcast, it certainly seems that Verne was there and hands on, with Billy Robinson there too. There is literally no reason to believe those guys are BSing on that stuff. They have zero reason to lie about it.

I am likely going to run house shows on Tuesday nights and TV tapings Wednesday, so if you're running a weekend schedule, workers should be able to come in and out.

Vince Sr is said to be in the market for top heels to work 4-7 dates at major arenas. Not only does your promotion get Andre, your star gets major exposure in the biggest market in the United States which almost guarnatees coverage in major pulbications such as PWI and The Wrestler! I'd happily do either one MSG loop + a TV appearance (4 dates on Slaughter for 3 dates on Andre) or a special deal of MSG loop + Philly loop + 1 tv appearance (7 dates on Slaughter for 7 dates on Andre). We could work out when both guys can fly to and from Puerto Rico. As in, you don't have to use all the dates on Andre at once and just because I'm using Slaughter doesn't mean he couldn't fly back and work a date for you between the house shows. Let me know what you're happy with.

I am not sure, because value is relative. A guy who has cache in one area and not in another might be available cheaper later because the value is not as high to others as it is to you. I understand people playing it safe so far, but my thinking has been that someone like Ricky Steamboat is a great asset no matter the territory. You know he can get over anywhere. Some of the more regional picks I'm less sure about. Although I don't want to discuss "strategy" in public any further ¬_¬
