Is that Parka Wagner match on YouTube?

Most Brutal Instance of "Color"...
Yea that was like bleeding out a hog or something. All the blood would splatter on the floor. Jay Briscoe might be one of the better bleeders of this era

Most Brutal Instance of "Color"...
I dont remember if it was a streetfight or a ladder match between ANX and the Briscoes but Jay and Rhett bled like crazy.

The Steve Austin Show
The Rogers interview was pretty fun. I love how much of a fan Austin is that would have a guy like Tommy Rogers on. I almost want to relisten and see how many times Rogers said "You and I both know".

Best wrestling seasons
What was the territory like as a whole. Was it a southern brawling style? Or more of a 00ish indy style? Or neither

I agree Parv. The mid 00s TNA crowds were the worst

Shoots Review and Preview thread
How are you guys finding out about the upcoming KC timelines? The only one I see on their site is the 00-01 ECW with Credible.

How to you determine a great wrestler?
Loss that is such a great way to look at it and I couldnt have said it better myself. Especially when you consider the fact that in a lot of cases both guys have to do a decent amount of work to make one guy look good, much less both guys. Take Bryan vs Triple H for example from Mania. Most people left that thinking damn Bryan brought out the best in triple h but who's to say it didn't go both ways? Who's to say trips didn't push Bryan to a great match as well?

Wrestling Music Videos
I actually liked the "You can hate me now" video for the Miz at Mania 27. It helps that I'm a huge Nas fan but nonetheless.

Place to Be Podcast Episode 316: SummerSlam 2002
The Jewish voices is the legit funniest part of any of the 316 episodes and i've heard them all. You both killed it and all i could picture was Kyle's cousin Kyle from South Park. If you dont know what i'm talking about you have to youtube it. Maybe a new Kosher update is in the works?

Does anybody give a shit about Randy Orton?
That stretch in 2011 I believe where he was a face against guys like Christian and Henry was probably his best run to me. He's still very good in the ring but his character, style, mic skills are all played out. He like Cena are both great in the ring but people are sick of the character so they equate that to them sucking. I bet if Orton got an overhaul character wise but wrestled the same people would love him. It's also not his fault that fcw in the mid 00s used his body type and trunks as a blueprint for everyone coming to the roster. When people used to bitch about everyone looking the same they would always say everyone looks like Orton. I think that took away from his persona as well.

Blood, Guts, Powder, and Flames
I'm starting to view some of the suggestions and I'm thinking of bumping this up to 200/250. I think this is definitely going to be a comp and I might even add a couple slugfests from UFC like Guida/Sanchez and Griffin/Bonnar. I'm not 100% on that though. I'll need to skim through and make sure every match is at least some kind of brawl as well. I don't want anything that just feels like a normal match.

Where the Big Boys Play #62 - WCW / New Japan Supershow 1991
Just finished and that was another great show. Can't wait for the mid 91 into 92 change that is coming.

Where the Big Boys Play #62 - WCW / New Japan Supershow 1991
I like Parv's smug description of US currency. He mentions a show costing nine dollars ninety five. Parv is too fucking suave to say cents. Then again Chad would probably say ninety five cent so i guess its a lose/lose.

Random question....Did the 80's Too Short sub forum get lost in the ether when dvdvr went down?

Haha i agree, 16 years later i still have the appreciation for a solid slut. The word slut isnt used enough these days. I might go home and call my wife a slut and rekindle the flame

Blood, Guts, Powder, and Flames
Is there anything from PPW, NWA Wildside, CZW, or any other lesser known Indies that have great brawls worth adding?

Triple Threat
One three way match that I remember liking quite a bit even though most people don't was the DDP/Raven/Benoit match from 98. I felt each guy brought something different and it was a pretty fun brawl.

Blood, Guts, Powder, and Flames
That PYT match sounds fun, gotta seek that out.
