Times you thought it was a shoot.
As goofy as it might have been I believed the Triple H snake bite angle.

What are your favorite or what you think are the best southern brawls ever?
Is there anything from Southeast/Continental of note?

What are your favorite or what you think are the best southern brawls ever?
I like the Funk/Gilbert stuff in ECW. The chain match is pretty southern

What are your favorite or what you think are the best southern brawls ever?
Im not sure, its a great brawl I'm just not sure if its southern. There's gotta be some good stuff from Alabama,Georgia, and Florida as well.

Doesn't necessarily have to be a brawl for the project I'm thinking of either but a southern style match. I just mostly consider the southern style as brawling but i guess a match like Shawn/Jarrett could be considered southern

What are your favorite or what you think are the best southern brawls ever?
If that's the one where Eddie blades the gusher I've seen it and yea it definitely fits. HIAC 1 maybe? Especially with the finish

Is there anything from WWE or TNA that could be considered a classic southern style brawl? One of the Storm/Roode matches maybe? I'm going back on a southern kick and may even do a southern project of sorts. I've seen a lot of the Texas,Mid South, and Memphis stuff but the rest of the 80s southern wrestling is a blind spot for me

Good not great wrestlers
Holy shit I was gonna say Bob Holly too after reading the title. I guess another guy that could fit would be Malenko. Pains me to say it since he is one of my favorites but honestly he was never more than mechanically great aside from the one huge pop once he unmasked as Ciclope

Wrestling Across America #1: Philadelphia with the Blue Meanie
No love for the motherland Chicago?

Wrestling Across America #1: Philadelphia with the Blue Meanie
I have lived in Tampa since I was little but moved here in 91 so I was all of 5 years old. I wish I was a teenager living here in the 80s but then again I miss Chicago so it'd be a hard trade

Tackling the 80s
Yea I've seen you mention that feud so ill definitely check that out. The only PR I've ever seen is Brody/Abby and while I don't like either guy that much I did like the atmosphere they created and the spectacle of it all. I'll have to search out some WWC

Tackling the 80s
What about the rest of the 80s in PR? Just some offhand standout matches. Doesnt have to necessarily be a great match either, I enjoy spectacles as well

Tackling the 80s
I only glanced at the list but this is an awesome reference point for great matches. Is the only non 80s set stuff the Portland and British matches? Is there any Puerto Rico?

The Jim Cornette Experience
Yea that whole essay but Alice Radley I think her name is, was just cringe worthy. I'm not the most religious person in the world but I do believe in god and he just comes off as he shits on anyone who does. Then on top of it they want to act as if they're more intelligent because they don't believe. Like I said I'm not overly religious but that and the political crap is just too much. The sad part is that he is one of my favorite story tellers ever about wrestling so ill just have to hope the bs dies down

The Jim Cornette Experience
Man that atheist shit at the end of the newest episode is a real turn off. His show is half awesome old school wrestling and half preachy, political, agenda driven bs. Such a love/hate show for me. Oh and that chick does not sound hot at all and she tries so hard to

Wrestling With The Past #7
If that logo is made into a shirt I'm all over it.

Kurt Angle
Angle filled the Bret Hart void for me as my favorite up until 07 probably. Say what you want about both guys but some of the technical springs Angle can have are awesome. The Rey match from SS 02 is a good example. I also liked his Shawn matches quite a bit and his Benoit match at RR 03 is a masterpiece to me

PTB Episode 268: WrestleMania X-7
As long as the topic is good and the conversation is flowing I have no problems with a 3 hour podcast. Especially if its an episode of p2b. Titans has become very enjoyable as well so yea Parv keep the shows coming no matter the length.

WRESTLING'S GREATEST MATCHES PODCAST
I was a wrestling fan from 1981-2002(could care less about today's product unless it involves Tanahashi). I love the classic old school wrestling, and your Where the Big Boys Play and Titans of Wrestling currently are my favorite podcasts that I listen to. I try and talk about 3 matches from different eras and territories. The selections are the matches I grew up watching and rediscovered through Good Will's comps that I've purchased over the years. Hope you enjoy the show. I'm no expert, just an enthusiastic old school wrestling fan. Ok yea I've definitely heard this podcast before. You might have the greatest most enthusiastic voice for a wrestling podcast

Titans of Wrestling #9
I'm really enjoying this podcast and the cast is pure gold. I love Petes slant on watching wrestling to enjoy it and not try to pick it apart. I'm pretty sure of was Pete who said something to that affect. I also like that a guy like Johnny with so much old school knowledge doesn't try to one up everyone and make himself superior. Instead he's just like look here boys let's sit under the learning tree and zone the fuck out. Some of the other podcasts are way too my way is gospel and that just isn't the case with you guys. Parv has been a great host and definitely deserves a lot of credit along with Brickhithouse on fathering this whole thing.

Doom/Horsemen definitely counts fucking love that much. I still have to watch the Duggan Sawyer match. I have the mid south set and haven't got that far into it.
