I havent seen too much love for Colt on here but maybe i'm not looking hard enough. I think he's very talented and has a very unique almost British style to his wrestling. He's easily one of the best comedy guys out right now but when he's serious he's also pretty damn good. The street fight with Generico against Steen and Corino was ver good and his matches with Homicide were great in ROH. I havent seen the Pearce title change or the Lawler match but i've heard they were great as well. I realize i might have a Chicago bias towards him but fuck it i like him. What does everybody else think of him? Is the comedy too much sometimes? Is he a great or just good worker?

For what it's worth i think the board is extremely fun these days. Not that i've been on here forever or anything but the past few months have made me addicted to this board whereas before i would post once or twice a month. I can kind of see what Loss is saying though at the same time i dont think Will meant any malice by it.

Yea i'm a completist and i wanted to compare both companies from a broader stand point besides Raw vs Nitro and the ppvs. I'm only in January for both but i'm watching Nitro, Thunder, Worldwide, Saturday Night and the PPVs for WCW. And Raw, Smackdown in Sept., Shotgun, Heat, and the PPVs for WWF. I did the same for 97 and 98 just not as broad, pretty much just RAW, Nitro, and Heat i think. I remember 99 but not too clearly so some of the stuff is new to me and its better rewatching it 14 years later when you know who some of the job guys become and you can mark out to little stuff.

I'm currently watching WCW and WWF 99 as well. I'll share the suffering

Yea i never really noticed his size as a downfall. He always came off as the type that would do whatever it took to beat you. Lawler is a good comparison size wise as he was never huge either. Dylan, what would you consider to be his best match or matches if one doesnt stick out. I've always liked Corino but i cant say i could point to a single match.

He definitely doesn't make my 100 but 1000 would be stretching it. I could name wrestlers for namings sake but I couldn't say 1000 guys are better

Always thought he had a bright future but he came a few years too late. I thought he was an excellent douche bag heel almost the same style as some of punks stuff. Not really sure I can point to that one big match of his though. I like his roh stuff and his matches with homicide were good along with the dusty Rhodes from ecw but I dont know if those would be his stand out matches or not. He was a great blader too for what its worth. I know that's not a great quality to look for but I always thought he wore the crimson mask well and he looked good bleeding

You don't have to apologize not everybody is going to like the same things. If you don't like lucha then its not for you and it doesnt make you less of a wrestling fan. Your shawn michaels is my Kurt angle although I haven't like most of his stuff past 08 except for the jarrett matches. What I'm getting it is that I see a lot of people don't like himn here and that's cool. While I may not agree with a lot of peoples opinion on stuff I have learned a lot and doi d many great discoveries through some peoples recommendation. I never would've thought if jerry Lawler as highly as I do now if I wasn't turned on to him by will. Just like what you like and if you're open minded you might discover a lot of quality stuff you would of never thought of

Yea with all the hype lately this is going to be a must buy for me. I think i'm holding off on anything else right now because i want to dive into that as soon as i get it. If it's going to be a while still i might get another one to hold me over.
