  1. Does Lacey have a bloody mouth?
  2. That was the best Joe singles match in forever. Kofi trying the Bret Hart counter to the sleeper and Joe countering with an uranage was especially awesome.
  3. Is Owens blown up after a 10 second match?
  4. Fuck me, we still have a fucking Dolph Ziggler match to get through. Jesus Christ.
  5. Nobody could have predicted that all the straight wrestling matches on an Extreme Rules show would die in front of a Philadelphia crowd.
  6. If Stomping Grounds is any indication, this is the point where the show falls off a cliff.
  7. I think opening with the Undertaker match killed the crowd.
  8. Fuck this crowd for sitting on their hands during this awesome tag match.
  9. There are few things I hate more than "extreme" tag matches where the illegal competitors stay in their corners and make no attempt to interject themselves in the match. What, are they afraid of being disqualified?
  10. Ah, yes. The true mark of a sadist: the top wristlock.
  11. Doesn't Priestley have a track record of injuring people in Stardom?
  12. I need to watch it again before I can say for certain, but KENTA/Tanahashi might be my current MOTY.
  13. Interesting how heavily AEW is pushing CIMA as a living legend. It's the kind of thing that could significantly help him in WON HOF voting.
  14. It's pretty amusing to hear the commentators shit on guys for allowing their opponents to hit moves.
  15. I'd say so. Not a MOTYC, but enough good stuff to make it worth checking out.
  16. Page/Sabian definitely overdelivered. The leg injury angle made it much more interesting than it would have been otherwise.
  17. I'm still not sold on the Dark Order gimmick, but I like them in the ring. I would have rather seen them in a regular tag match with Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus. Evans and Angelico didn't really add much to that match.
  18. Yeah, not feeling the Dark Order. It's like if the Wyatt Family were led by Shark Boy.
  19. Actually, Brandi shouldn't be wrestling at all. She can't really be anything but a heel, and I think we've all had enough of the promotion presenting itself as the heel.
  20. Trying to present Brandi Rhodes as a sympathetic babyface strikes me as ill-advised.
  21. Guevara's is worse. Quite possibly the most punchable face of any wrestler since Yoji Anjo.
  22. Baker's never going to live that down.
  23. A largely flawless junior vs. heavy slugfest and an absolute clinic on how to build a 20-plus minute match almost entirely around strikes and power moves. There's also a surprising amount of depth, as many of the exchanges have a distinct King's Road flavor. Sasaki mostly dominates, but thanks to KENTA's impeccably timed hope spots, it never feels too one-sided. Sasaki simply bullrushing KENTA into the corner late in the match was an awesome way to reassert dominance. The GTS near the end was an effective nearfall because it looked like KENTA didn't quite hit it flush.
  24. I'm quite familiar with Jebailey and his role in the FGC and I still think he had no business working an even remotely competitive match.
  25. I don't really know what AEW sees in Riho to have her on each of their events so far. I remember reading that they think joshi could be for them what luchadores and cruiserweights were for WCW, but she's kind of a curious choice as a standard-bearer.
