Donald Trump: The Art of the Draw
And now Mooch is out. Guess he's closer to Ahmed Johnson than The Rock.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 4
It is. Legendary arm selling performance from Liger. As for the topic in general: Chekhov's gun, people.

Donald Trump: The Art of the Draw
I'd say it's more like Kurt Angle turning on the Alliance at Survivor Series and then going back to being a heel the next night on Raw.

Donald Trump: The Art of the Draw
That New Yorker interview was Mooch raising his eyebrow to give the signal to kick Faareibus out of the Nation of Trumpination.

Haven't watched wrestling since 2015, what should this guy watch first
Any Revival match at a Takeover event will be worth going out of your way to see.

Donald Trump: The Art of the Draw
I guess that makes Jared Kushner Lance. When does Donald cut a promo disowning him?

WWE Goodness Gracious! Great Balls of Fire
And Asuka in NXT.

WWE Goodness Gracious! Great Balls of Fire
I'm not sure what to make of that match. It wasn't an epic main event slugfest, but it felt like a real fight.

WWE Goodness Gracious! Great Balls of Fire
Assuming you are talking about the HHH matches, 2001 or 2007? 2001. I'd say the Shield matches were quite overrated in retrospect. They didn't do much for me the last time I watched them.

WWE Goodness Gracious! Great Balls of Fire
I 'd say that was the best tag match on the main roster since the quad tear match.

Donald Trump: The Art of the Draw
And now CNN has turned this into a heel/heel matchup by threatening to dox the guy. Surrending the moral high ground to a Pepe. Amazing.

Dave Meltzer stuff
According to Dave, "everyone said" Casas was phoning it in in the 90s. Dave has a history of placing a great deal of weight on contemporaneous consensus opinion and relatively little on how well someone's work holds up decades after the fact. And for all we know, Casas was in fact phoning it in on all the shows Dave attended.

Donald Trump: The Art of the Draw
The gif was created by a guy on Reddit named HanAssholeSolo. As you can imagine, he's quite the character. https://twitter.com/th3j35t3r/status/881696975179087872/ Honestly, though, I don't see why people are flipping out over this. It's not like there's any norms of decency or decorum left to preserve.

Favorite 3 -5 year peak from a worker?
I'd say Akiyama's peak was from 1998 to 2000.

Best Squash Match ever?
I've always liked Chris Benoit vs. Orlando Jordan at Summerslam.

Jim Breaks Arrested For Beating Wife To Death
I'm not sure there's much of a difference. Both of their brains were mush.

Favorite 3 -5 year peak from a worker?
A couple of my favorites that haven't been mentioned yet: Eddy Guerrero 02-05 Ricky Steamboat 91-94

How do you have your wrestling footage stored? What methods do you personally recommend?
I only have a few matches saved-specifically, the ones from my top 100 list. I keep them on my hard drive with copies on Google Drive. I pay $1.99 a month for 100 GB of storage, which is more than sufficient for my needs. Everything else, I delete right after watching.

All non-Japanese are considered gaijin. The fact that Rikidozan was ethnically Korean was hidden until after his death. Random question: how closely did old-school masked heels like the Destroyer and the Spoiler guard their identities? Were their real names generally known? Did they appear in public unmasked?

RIP Mr. Pogo
I've seen it in lots of places. From Dave's Jumbo obit:

Dave Meltzer stuff
I wish Dave wouldn't spend so much time on Twitter dunking on Russo apologists and other assorted morons. The occasional tweet to that effect is fine, but it seems like he spends half the day responding to easily rebuttable nonsense.

RIP Mr. Pogo
Pogo being one of the guys who bullied Jumbo Tsuruta off their college wrestling team might be my favorite piece of wrestling trivia.

Any other longterm fans starting to feel alienated by the current fanbase?
Art is form and content. Wrestling is all form and no content.
