That has to be a gimmicked skateboard and not one she rode around on. Still, epic fail.

I don't know when bubba @KawadaSmile's birthday is, but the perfect gift for him dropped recently. https://shop.wwe.com/products/the-miz-my-balls-are-massive-t-shirt

A former beer shop in my area had a server who liked to wear AJ Styles shirts.

The closest I can think of is the cursed belt in FMW that killed whoever held it.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
WWE was forced to change the name of the Moolah Battle Royal due to pressure from corporate sponsors. And a pre-show battle royal is the smallest of potatoes compared to these allegations. Even SRS is saying Vince has to go.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
The Board of Directors might not be able to oust Vince, but Fox and NBC could. Live by the rights fee sword, die by the rights fee sword.

In more tragic news, it turns out Woke Buff Bagwell was a sham.

Workers who never had their best match
I say Dustin's best match was against Bunkhouse Buck at Spring Stampede.

I'm pretty sure the last officially sanctioned bladejob in WWE was Jericho/HBK at the 2008 Bash. Batista got fined $100k for blading on Raw 800, which needless to say was sufficient deterrent for anyone thinking about going into business for themselves.

Didn't Sheik nearly burn to death in FMW? Regardless, I have noticed a strong correlation, albeit an imperfect one, between the decline in forehead blading in wrestling and the dramatic increase in high-risk spots and bumps. It's probably something that warrants exploring in greater detail. By the way, Radiohead is a far superior band to Yes.

The match wasn't even that competitive. Omega pinned the guy with a V-trigger for Pete's sake.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
Wrestling news is competing with the January 6th hearings for attention. Of course it doesn't matter compared to that.

Is the empire crumbling before our eyes?
https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2022/06/vince-mcmahon-accused-of-rape-by-first-female-wwe-referee.html There's an article about Rita Chatterton in New York magazine. What makes it notable is that I believe this is the first time someone has gone on the record to corroborate her claims (Mario Mancini in this case). Maybe the floodgates really are opening.

Never fear, everyone. The true ace has arrived in town to save the show.

I would take claims that working several matches a week is better for the body with a grain of salt. It reminds me of how wrestlers in the 90s would say the Japanese schedule was easier on the body even with the harder style because you had several weeks off in between tours to rest up. Well, everyone who worked that schedule for any length of time ended up physically destroyed.

AEW TV 06/22 - 06/24 Steph Curry is top 10 of all time
The whole point of the Orange Cassidy character is that he's a serious threat when he actually tries but is usually too lazy to bother. It should be obvious how the match at Forbidden Door will go. Ospreay will be a prick in the early going because he thinks this shit is beneath him, OC will eventually snap and give Ospreay all he can handle before going down. Basically the same deal as the PAC match from a couple of years ago.

The Iron Claw
Any telling of the Von Erich story is going to be either massively depressing or a total whitewash. If Kevin is involved, it'll likely be the latter.

You'd figure that if Danielson were too injured to work the PPV, he'd be too injured to fly in for Dynamite.

In case you missed it, Vince settled the Oliver Luck lawsuit. https://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/Daily/Closing-Bell/2022/06/20/Luck-McMahon-XFL.aspx The terms weren't disclosed, but I'm willing to bet Luck made out like a bandit. It seems likely that Vince did whatever he had to do to make the lawsuit go away because testifying under oath, especially about his moral character, is the last thing he wants to do right now.

WWE TV 06/20 - 06/26 Insert clever subtitle here
So let's see how WWE followed up on Riddle's title shot, shall we? Squashed like a bug by Omos. But hey, at least he's not being paired with Seth Rolli- With this kind of booking, he'll be world champion by the end of the year.
