[1992-02-22-WCW-Saturday Night] Sting & Dustin Rhodes & Barry Windham & Ricky Steamboat vs Rick Rude & Arn Anderson & Larry Zbyszko & Bobby Eaton
This maybe my favorite match so far of the set. Maybe not the best persay but by far the most fun. This was my first time seeing this and its just a tremendous display of everything good and fun about wrestling. Over faces, strong heels, a hot crowd this has it all. The talent level on display so far in wcw is really amazing and its a shame that the d.a. was broken up soon after this when Watts came in.

[1992-01-19-WWF-Royal Rumble] Royal Rumble
This is a hard match to rate. Growing up as a wwf fan your almost conditioned to consider this the greatest rumble of all time. While its still a contender I'm not sure if if it still hits that mark. Flairs performance is great and it does a long way to getting him over with the northeast fans but it stills feel incomplete. As good as Heenan was on the mic you almost stilll wish Flairs history wits guys such as Valentine and Kerry was brought up but you know you're not getting that from the wwf.

[1992-01-31-WWF-MSG, NY] Bret Hart vs The Undertaker
I think this match is a good testament to how good Bret actually is. We all know early Undertaker isnt the easiest to watch but Bret drags a good match out of him. Watching this its not hard to see why the title went on him 10 months later.

[1992-01-19-WWF-Royal Rumble] Roddy Piper vs The Mountie
As a match this pretty much nothing but the post match celebration is legitmately a great feel good moment. Piper seems genuinely happy to have won his first title in the wwf and the crowd response as the announcement is made is one of my favorite wwf moments. It comes across as a real nice thank you to Piper for his work in that era.

[1992-01-12-WWF-Wrestling Challenge] Barber Shop: The Rockers
One of the best wwf angles of the 90s and something that resonates with an entire generation of fans who grew up on it. This was a helluva jump start to Shawns single push and the only thing missing was a true feud with Jannetty. Though we can probably blame that on his personal problems unfortunately.

[1992-01-11-WWF-Superstars] Funeral Parlor: Ric Flair & Mr Perfect
Its just a weird sight to see when you think about it and make the comparison. Looking at it as a whole, a lot of people enjoy Flairs 92 wwf run and for a pretty good reason but the contrast between nwa/wcw Flair and wwf Flair is pretty wide. Just going back two years to the famous 89 run he had is almost night and day character wise and in ring wise in my opinion.

[1992-01-04-WCW-Saturday Night] Arn Anderson vs Dustin Rhodes
Really good match. Dustin and Arn both turn in great performances. Loved the limb work, the selling, the near falls, and the finishing run-n brawl. I thought Ross was pretty good on commentary. Specifically his mention of the Dusty and Arn rivalry and his idea of the D.A. attempting to injure Dustin so he'd have to vacate the tag titles. Not sure I'd rank this with the upper echelon of 92 wcw singles buts its still damn good.

[1992-01-04-NJPW-Starrcade 1992 in Tokyo Dome] Rick & Scott Steiner vs Sting & Great Muta
Good match but definitely on the weird side. Agree that the top rope bulldog was way out of place. Muta also took a helluva beating towards the middle from the Steiners and turned it around to make his tag to Sting way to easy. Finish was a bit out of nowhere and confusing but thought Stings counter was cool.
