  1. It just struck me earlier when I was listening to part 4 that he sounds like Edward Norton
  2. I believe it was made into two episodes, Titans 30 and 31. 31 is all about the Cobra Clutch Challenge and by the end Johnny submitted to the Magarita Challenge
  3. Ricky Jackson replied to Woof's topic in WWE
No Way Jose should provide a lot of fun moments based on his debut
  4. Add my number 1 Randy Savage and my team could go back in time and end WW 2 in 1939
  5. My high vote Survivor Series team is Mr. Wrestling II, Dusty Rhodes, Bruno Sammartino and Sgt. Slaughter. That's a pretty fucking awesone team
  6. Not so easy to keep these podcast things short, is it? ☺
  7. Plus one more for good measure, featuring Roddy Piper! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htQA9UvB304
  8. Ding ding ding! Best post of the GWE project! Let's celebrate the greatness of some of the Greatest Wrestlers Ever! Dec 86 and Jan 87 MSG
  9. Oh calm down El P
  10. You're just flat out creating revisionist history now
  11. Awesome. That's a pretty deep and varied collection of stuff
  12. Come on El P, you can badmouth him for a lot of things, but saying Hogan was a "terrible babyface" is like saying Charlie Chaplin was a terrible comedian. Although that may be a whacky French belief, I don't know.
  13. The teams the Roadies lost the straps (AWA/NWA/WWF) to were all super unimpressive at the time, although at least DiBiase and Rotundo became a permanent, long-term team
  14. Hogan vs Kamala from Dec 86 and Jan 87 MSG are both very good. Also a Dec 86 (I believe) match between the two in Boston. Hogan vs Savage in WWF was always fun. Just saw one from Oct 85 in Toronto last month that is awesome Hogan vs Terry Funk from SNME Jan 86 I linked today in another thread is a blast Basically you can't go wrong with most of Hogan's big matches from about 82-91 IMO
  15. Watch more WWWF and vote for Bruno
  16. I would've bet my house that I would be the high voter
  17. And for those perhaps a little overwhelmed by the recent trend of epic, prog-podcasts, At the Garden promises to be your lean, three-chord punk band alternative. No episodes longer than 45 minutes!
  18. Yeah kind of a dumb question on my part. So what was the criteria for your ballot? My criteria was a mix of charisma, memorable matches, ability to get heat, strength of angles, star power, promo skills, historical importance and transcendence...although don't expect much consistency from my rankings, I only put about 4 hours of thought into it, if that
  19. The Shea stadium match is really good. YOU ARE WEIRD, JERRY The real must see match between Hogan and Andre from that era is 3/21/81 from Philly. All the others are pretty nondescript to me
  20. Yes of course it did, otherwise I would've voted Ultimate Warrior number 1 or something
  21. One thing I've learned is that Ricky Jackson didn't base his list on in ring work. You're right I didn't
  22. Let me guess, Piper is next
  23. People clearly hate wrestling around here
