Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 3
The great atrocity is Okada finishing higher than Bruno. A real low point. That's a very unique viewpoint. Personally I don't care if one guy who bores me does better than some other guy who bores me. Edit: I read Bruno as Brody. Forget what I said. The idea of some huge Brody fan despising Okada intrigued me.

Inoki makes more sense as number 1 than Steiner does.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 3
Speaking of stunned, I feel betrayed even reading this shit. Who are you? I know. Stupid stupid me. I used to love Devil. Wait. Oz. MAYUMI OZAKI doesn't make the top 100 ? Who are you PEOPLE ? These results suck. She was my #16. You can blame me. I haven't seen enough joshi to make a proper assessment of anyone so I didn't rate any women.

How many black wrestlers are left? Rock, Kong, Scorpio? Anyone else?

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 3
I have Grey at like 10 or 11 I think. He was my highest rated WOS guy and then Marty was in my top 25.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 3
Yeah it makes sense, but I was hoping for at least one big surprise just barely finding his way onto the final list. Oh well.

How many luchadores are even left? There's going to be like 5 in the top 100? All behind Triple H...

Wrestlers who had a lot of great matches but aren't great
The Adams feud was in 1990. Austin didn't debut until 89. Have you seen the matches? It was a great feud but the matches weren't great. They were effective and fun. Austin does well enough but he was obviously green at the time. Most of the matches are less than 5 minutes anyway.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List, Part 2
Damn I was hoping Navarro could make the back end of the top 100.

Wrestlers who had a lot of great matches but aren't great
What is so hard to grasp about a guy getting decent food out of shit ingredients being more impressive than a guy getting decent food out of good ingredients?

Lizmark
Lizmark, La Fiera & Kung Fu vs Pirata Morgan, Hombre Bala & Jerry Estrada (2.27.87) Negro Casas, Emilio Charles Jr. & Bestia Salvaje vs Atlantis, Lizmark & Ultimo Dragon (7.31.92) I don't think he's bad by any means, but from the praise you've given him I've expected much more and haven't seen anything that has made me say, "OK this guy is great." I'm going to watch everything of his that's on the 80s Lucha set but I remember being underwhelmed by the Satanico match and some others from the 90s.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
Focus on this: of the 67 luchadores to get nominated, all but 6 got votes. Numbers may not be totally exact. But that's something. I have 2 in my top 4. In retrospect I shoulda/coulda/woulda included a few more luchadores and ranked a few higher. But I still have 6 in my top 25.

Well that's mean. Fat jokes about Margaret Cho? Come on, dude. No one called anyone fat.

Lizmark
Lizmark has been underwhelming in everything I've seen. He has a tendency to telegraph his spots more so than I've come to expect in lucha and his timing seems off. He always seems to be explicitly waiting like hes going through a checklist and rushing into position way to early so he doesnt miss his spots. I like Atlantis a lot more and probably made a mistake not including him on my ballot.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
I hate everyone who didn't vote for Hoshino.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
in fact... can we still turn in ballots for tag team? Please That would be awesome. I was too focused on the singles to really take a crack at tag teams.

Reactions to the Honorable Mention List Part One
Phil Schneider not voting for Fargo or Cesca after the posts he made about them has made me lose all respect for him. No integrity. Everything is a lie. Probably has Angle or Jumbo as his number 1.

Your New Avatar: Show Off Your Shame

I was about to say that I'm glad ONLY one person voted for Joey Ryan. I'm happy to see others with similar views on him.
