Yoji Anjoh
Terrific heel. Shows lots of character and emotion, especially for shoot style. Sells wonderfully and also brings it offensively with great matwork and striking. In a style that's all about toughness and technique he doesn't mind being a punk, stalling and taking cheap shots. The more I watch the more he rises on my list. I think of all the shoot style guys he might be the most accessible for people who aren't used to the nuances of the style. Some matches on YouTube that I recommend: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZSABUJNAjA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVa65UtHF8E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLD8xmWluHA

"The Great Muta" Keiji Muto
He's not the laziest wrestler of all time. That's called hyperbole. Who the fuck knows who the laziest wrestler of all time is? Doing moonsaults doesn't mean a thing. If anything the moonsault is a crutch because Muto knows he doesn't have to do a whole lot else as long as he goes out and hits THE BIG MOVE. He's a talented guy who can be very good but he totally coasts on his athleticism and charisma. There are plenty of matches where he doesn't do much and simply lets his opponent go through some offense while he takes it in the least compelling way possible until its time to hit his spots. There are times where he acts as is he'd rather be anywhere else and can't be bothered to take notice of the match that he's involved in.

Its a message board, Jingus.

Dumbest foreign object ever
Oh wow, that really changes everything. Great point, Jingus. What a bull shit copout. As long as you preface ever claim with, 'probably' then no one can argue with you because you can't be wrong. Respond to the points they're making if you really believe anything you said or concede that you were 'probably' wrong.

GWE Viewing Marathon Starts Tonight, Midnite Eastern Time.
Crazy coincidence, I was just about to watch that Pirata Morgan match tonight. Too bad I saw this too late.

Arn Anderson
I know there are some people who rate Bret Hart over Flair and some people who rate Arn over Bret. So I'm curious, is there anyone who would rate Arn over Flair?

Wrestler awareness of things not in their bubble
This whole argument is insane, but I love it. Nobody in the real world cares about the Sandman or knows who he is. Only wrestling fans know who the Sandman is. Roberts is a part of pop culture.

Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat
Would it be fair to say that Steamboat's peak was in the 90s? I've enjoyed so much more of his stuff from WCW in that era, particularly 91-92, than anything else besides maybe 1989 but I haven't seen the 89 Flair matches in probably 7 or 8 years. He just seems to be operating on a much higher level to me as far as his match structure goes.

Wrestler awareness of things not in their bubble
The thing about Bret not knowing anything outside of what he and his dad were involved with is annoying to me because Bret makes a lot of judgements in his book that he has no real basis to make. I wouldn't care otherwise, but he trashes Baba, British wrestling, Southern wrestling, Flair and more in his book. The statements he makes are clearly from someone who hasn't watched much of that stuff if any.

CM Punk
The criticism that Punk doesn't do a lot outside of his big matches is something you can say about Bret Hart as well and he will be very high on some people's lists. Also I don't agree with the notion that Punk is mediocre at selling. At times I think his selling has stood out as being very good.

[1991-12-22-UWFi-Best in the World Decision Match] Nobuhiko Takada vs Trevor Berbick
This kind of made me mad to watch. They completely screwed that guy over. Anybody else catch the referee holding Berbick back on the ropes while Takada starts taking cheap shots? Even if it wasn't a double cross, that was a total coward move on Takada's part. I don't have any respect for that kind of stuff.

[1992-11-21-WCW-Saturday Night] Big Van Vader vs Dustin Rhodes
Just watched this again and I don't know what I was so concerned with in Vader's performance. Really fun match.

[1991-12-07-RINGS] Akira Maeda vs Volk Han
This match kind of sucks. This being Han's first match he forgets that he's supposed to make it seam like an actual struggle and not two buddies playing around. Han constantly turns his back on Maeda and doesn't protect himself to which Maeda responds by doing nothing. Not only that but Han's gassed fairly quickly and is constantly resting to which Maeda responds by once again doing nothing. Volk Han is clearly the superior shooter as he still able to block or counter pretty much ever move Maeda makes. Embarrassing.

All this talk about the rules going out the window and no one mentions how the referee turns his head and walks away when Flair comes in with the chair.

Who Will You Be the High Vote On?
Possibly Kantaro Hoshino. There might not be a ton of footage of him, but I have a hard time seeing him being a worse wrestler than a lot of other esteemed guys.

Genichiro Tenryu
Really confused by Winged Eagle's comments about these matches suffering from a lack of selling because from my memory and OJ's reviews, Tenryu was selling a ton.
