Dave Meltzer stuff
I know this is going to follow in the 'well why are you here then" category of message board complaints but can someone explain to me why Dave's Hall of Fame is treated so damn seriously. I listen to the podcasts on here and I do enjoy the history lessons (look forward to listening to the Dick Murdoch one) but the level of ANGER and OUTRAGE that wrestler A gets is something. You would have Edge and Sting has destroyed human lives listening to the last couple weeks. There is a wrestling hall of fame in New York, a wrestling hall of fame in iowa (more all around wrestling I believe), and the cauliflower alley club that nobody ever talks about that is way more valuable than Meltzer's Hall of Fame. It seems like every year this HOF talk is stronger and stronger and starting to reach that MLB sabermetrics level of over analysis. And unlike the other Hall of Fame's, I don't know if the wrestlers are as interested. I don't remember hearing any wrestler saying that being in Meltzer's Hall of Fame is the highlight of their career.

Jesus Rock is great to see you but can you lay off the steroids for a couple months.

Voices of Wrestling WON HOF - U.S./Canada w/Dylan Hales
Not as vicious as the Edge candidacy. I agree that he really isn't a HOF but shit I thought that one guy was going to pop a blood vessel in his head he was so angry about the concept

Place to Be Podcast Thread
Wasn't there supposed to be a podcast on looking back at the year 1992. Feel like I have heard this on other podcasts.

Dave Meltzer stuff
Okay I am really confused by meltzer on the RAW report last night. It sounded like he said that the crowd chanting 'YES' after the Brie Bella match is bad for Daniel Bryan because it shows that he isn't over but the chant is over and he could be replaced with anyone. Never mind the fact that Brie and Daniel are married (legit married not a work) I know that Dave has always pushed the "Daniel Bryan isn't a draw" theory for a good year but this logic makes no sense.

I think more than a few pieces in Bo Dallas died after the next segment. That was about as brutal as the actual loss

A Great Kabuki reference in 2014. And then come back with apparently Seth Rollins carrying a vibrator in his MITB briefcase.

Yeah because you can never get enough John Cena vs Randy Orton matches Are they going to do anything live or the Network with Lance Russell. I know he is at RAW tonight and I thought Jerry was going to do something

WWE Network... It's Here
This is something they should have been doing all along. Having an update on the Network like that makes the Network feel essential, like it contains elements you can't get anywhere else. Brilliant move by WWE, and hopefully they keep it up. Yeah but right now it is more like "if a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound". I mean did you even hear that they were doing it? You can't expect the WWE fans to be watching the live stream on the Network like it is the NFL or MLB network. It would be a great idea but you can't make it complete random

WWE Network... It's Here
I don't know why they felt the need to do a "live breaking news" of the Roman Reigns injury on the Network. The only people that would know about it were people watching the live stream of the Network which is pretty few or people who spend all their day on the WWE website hitting refresh which is even less. They didn't even give a notification on their WWE app about the story. Not even an archive right now. I guess the WWE is hoping that the "dirt sheetz" break the story first so it gives people a chance to find it on WWE

WWE Network... It's Here
If you are going to do a documentary on the Monday Night War you have to include the story of Bret Hart. Especially if you are doing about 15 shows. What did you think they would talk about when you saw this in the schedule. I do agree that the stuff that is being shown is just the same stuff from previous War shows at a different times. Same clips, same interviews, hell same voice over commentary a few times. At the rate it is going by the time we get to the 15 show we will be lucky to see 10 mins of original stuff on this hour long show. And fuck anyone that does love Chic Donovan character. Or anyone that doesn't love Robert Palmer for that matter.

NXT Takeover Fatal 4 Way
Great main event match. Everybody worked their butts off in it. To me the true star was Tyson Kid who was absolutely great in the ring and his arrogant sider. I don't really have a problem with the finish as long as it makes Sami Zayn more intense and maybe even a heel. If we still get gullible "oh well I will just have to work harder next time" Sami then we could have a problem. Charlotte vs Bayley was pretty good but not on the level of the other 2 divas matches. Although to be fair that is high bar to jump over. Really did a good job of putting over Bayley as someone who isn't just some naive little girl who doesn't belong there. shocked to see a top rope rana from her and done really well too. Not sure if it was better than the first 2 shows but definitely worth a watch.

NXT Takeover Fatal 4 Way
I guess the question is whether the name IS based on one of his idol or just done to explain the new name.
