[1990-11-17-USWA-Nashville, TN] Eddie Gilbert vs Jeff Jarrett (Texas Death)
From the flag match. Jeff uses a chair to Gilbert’s leg. Doug checking with Eddie to see if he gives. Eddie asks Doug to waive the flag but his brother won’t. Figure four and Doug is waiving the flag but referee is down. Doug takes out Eddie Marlin and Sam Bass waives the flag pretending to be Marlin. Eddie just laying there in the figure four waiting for the finish to happen. Timing of all this was off. Dumb that Jeff had the figure four on but he loses. Heels being heels though.

[1990-11-17-NWA-Pro] Arn Anderson vs Terry Taylor
Really short TV match. Definitely to Anderson’s advantage to match be so short. Arn was in complete control at the end too. Again, never feels like Arn is in danger of losing.

[1990-11-17-WWF-Superstars] Survivor Series Report w/Gene Okerlund
Gene goes over the Survivor Series card. The Alliance is one of my least favorite Survivor Series teams. Was Santana filling in for someone else? Surprise 4th team member for the Million Dollar Team. Tugboat and Boss Man both put over Hogan for their team. Okerlund didn’t much of a job of explaining how the Grand Finale works.

[1990-11-17-Hamada's UWF] Aja Kong & Bison Kimura & Madusa Miceli & Tarantula & Xochilt Hamada vs Manami Toyota & Mariko Yoshida & Kaoru Maeda & Mika Takahashi & Esther Moreno
Cool spot with the catapult/backbreaker and Aja doing a butt splash then a clothesline. I’m unfamiliar with who is who for a couple members but some impressive looking moves being done. Zero chance to breathe during match. This was non stop go go go. Yeah, some of the pinfalls are rushed but you get that with elimination matches. This was a great match and the crowd seemed to really like Kong.

[1990-11-16-NWA-Power Hour] Paul E. Dangerously vignette
Empty arena with Motor City Madman taking all four scrubs. He’s a big guy but I was not too impressed with what I saw. The edited it to slow mo at times and had camera focused on Heyman.

[1990-11-16-EMLL] Pirata Morgan vs El Faraon
Third fall rocked. Morgan is losing lots of blood. The doctors get involved and we have a stoppage. Looked like Morgan was able to still go and he’s not thrilled with the result. Thought it was going along fine and then what a great third fall.

[1990-11-14-AJW-Wrestlemarinepiad] Aja Kong vs Bull Nakano (Cage)
Aja attacks with scissors outside the ring. In cage and lights go out for a few seconds. Aja went nuts with the spinning back fists. Then Bull uses the nunchuck. Just beating the crap out of each other. Kong does a number on Bull’s thigh and Nakano responds by repeated stabbing with scissors. The seconds outside are brawling with each other and feeding weapons into the ring. Crazy scene. The leg drop. Brave to try that from a top of a cage. This was brutal. The weapon shots looked so hurtful. But it blows away the cage matches we have seen otherwise.

[1990-11-14-AJW-Wrestlemarinepiad] Akira Hokuto & Suzuka Minami vs Manami Toyota & Kyoko Inoue
Sounds like they have 15 people calling the match. Giant swing gets a three count! Hokuto’s shoulders looked to be off the mat though. I see from the above comments that the ref could be a bit biased. Second fall was fast. This match was a struggle for me. Nothing too offensive but I just couldn’t get into it. Maybe a rewatch down the road.

[1990-11-10-TWA] Jerry Lawler vs Terry Funk
Funk outsmarting Lawler early and doing little things behind the referee’s back. Hillenbrand gets involved hitting Lawler when the ref is not looking. It gets more brawling like when Funk hits a piledriver on the floor. Lawler eventually piledrives Hillenbrand. Funk dragging Brian on the floor to to back was funny. Gilbert ends up taking over in Funk’s corner. After match Cactus gets involved. Seems like a tag match is due now.

[1990-11-10-NWA-World Championship Wrestling] Ric Flair and Teddy Long
Teddy hanging out in the back of Flair’s limo. He doesn’t get a ride though as still Flair’s limo. Teddy walks to the docks to check out Flair’s boat. The Magnificent Obsession. Teddy likes the boat. He will be changing the name to Godfather’s Soul Machine. Teddy Long has a present. He’s nervous about opening it. He walks off so we don’t see what is in the box.

[1990-11-10-NWA-World Championship Wrestling] Sting vs Bobby Eaton
No Cornette in Eaton’s corner. Eaton is bouncing all over the place. Thought he got up too quick from the hiptoss on the floor though. Well, it was padded so I guess it ain’t too bad. Music plays in arena. Black Scorpion is heard. The match continues though. This seems like a post match production thing though. Sting ends up getting disqualified for throwing Eaton over the rope. This was silly. Luger and other friends will now be backing up Sting at the Clash against the Black Scorpion.
