[1993-12-18-WCW-Saturday Night] Rick Rude vs The Boss
Davey Boy does not show up for his match with Rude. Smith is presented as being a coward. Boss Man hits the ring and we got an official match with Rude! Continuing their feud from WWF in 1990 before Rude disappeared there. The AJPW guys were taking the Boss Man Slam much better than Rude. Boss Man is still in full WWF character. Boss gets elevated immediately as challenger to Rude's title as he scores the non title win. Boss Man had a pretty good November and December in the ring.

[1993-12-18-WCW-Saturday Night] Music Video: Ric Flair
They highlight some of Flair's previous matches from Starrcade. I like that they even mention Flair going to WWF, by name, and winning their title twice. Good video but with Ric's career on the line they could have put forth an even better video. They get some NBA guys to discuss match and they ramble on. I would have preferred more clips of Flair.

[1993-12-18-SMW-TV] Bruise Brothers and The Moondogs
Moondogs beat up Bruise Brothers with the plunder. So hard to get into this feud.

[1993-12-18-WWF-Superstars] Interview: Bret Hart
Bret thinks Owen is mixed up right now and that things are going to tear the family apart. He does not think he was favored in the family growing up. Vince runs off Bret's accomplishments and how they effect Owen with living in the shadow. Bret refuses to wrestle Owen in a one on one match. There is no circumstance that he will ever face Owen in a match.

[1993-12-15-WWF-Augusta, ME] Bret Hart vs Yokozuna (Cage)
Not as good as the MSG one which was awesome. Going to be worth watching them back to back at some point. Crowd was hot for MSG show. Yoko was more of a monster in MSG match too. Too bad that show was not aired on MSG network. Monsoon/Polo are fine as an announce team if they are calling some squash or lower card match. They are not as good here trying to get over this match and are distracting.

[1993-12-17-FULL] Gran Hamada vs Villano IV
This match looks to be taking place in SMW at one of their high school gym shows. Those noise makers are annoying but it is a spirited crowd. Average match that I won't remember much of.

What were the four continents Vader held a World Title? North America, Europe and Asia is what I get. Are they counting Mexico as South America?

[1993-12-11-SMW-TV] Tracy Smothers vs Jimmy Del Ray
Bob Caudle wants us to know he never voted for Cornette at manager of the year. Jimmy Graffiti? I had forgot Del Ray in WCW. I still wish Bodies were pushed more in WWF. Lee and Tammy come ringside but they are quickly followed by Anthony and Dirty White Girl. They cancel each other and Smothers gets the win with the Jaw Jacker.

[1993-12-11-USWA-TV] Interview: Eddie & Doug Gilbert & Toni Adams
Toni Adams! I feel like I'm back in 1990. Toni talks about how all the men fantasize about her when they are with their wives. Dave Brown not having that. I like the Toni Adams video. Yes.

[1993-12-11-WWF-Superstars] Interview: Owen Hart
Excellent interview by Owen. The right setting for this type of promo/interview. Owen was on a roll at Survivor Series until Bret got in his way. He is sick and tired of what Bret has done. He wants people to recognize his own achievements. Vince tries to show that Owen is living in the shadow of Bret. Owen challenges Bret to a match to see who is the best.

[1993-12-10-Michinoku Pro] Super Delphin vs Sato (Mask vs Mask)
Losing the mask was good for Togo. His running climb up the turnbuckle into a flipping senton to the outside is a great looking move. So smooth. Sasuke and company outside are doing their best to keep the other wrestlings away from the ring. But they are caught up just as much as fans with cheering for each pin attempt by Sato. Great way to make the match feel important.

Other 1993 worth watching
Razor Ramon, Marty Jannetty, 1-2-3 Kid and Randy Savage versus IRS, Rick Martel, Diesel and Adam Bomb - Survivor Series On the Raw leading up the Survivor Series, Ross and Monsoon were talking about how Perfect was going to step aside for Savage to take his place. Does not make sense since Crush was not involved in same match. More of a cover for Perfect not being involved but still surprised me as I thought it was surprise inclusion by Savage in match. Razor gets a big pop for his entrance. Ramon buries Perfect on the mic by saying he tagged out before the match even started. Razor has a backup though as we get Randy Savage! Crowd loves that. Good back and forth between Razor and Martel to start the match. I would have much preferred Martel getting IRS spot as challenger to Ramon at Royal Rumble. Bomb sucks and even with his radioactive contact lenses he still comes off generic in the ring. We get some heel miscommunication where Martel clocks Harvey Wippleman. Type of thing that would turn you face. Bomb against Kid is better as he gets to throw around Waltman for a few. Diesel one ups Bomb with a huge biel throw and gutwrench suplex. We are not in Dieselmania yet though as Savage tags in and puts away Diesel very easily. Heels start using very quick tags and keeping Razor in their corner. Savage dominating IRS but Crush wanders out to distract Savage. Macho Man ends up getting pinned and chase after Crush. Martel and IRS could have worked as a tag team. Razor's Edge for IRS which does make you wonder why they continued that program through the Rumble. IRS hits Razor with a briefcase and Ramon gets counted out. Well there you go. Stealing the gold around Razor's neck will help too. Down to a two and two tag match. Kid does a dive through the ropes but Bomb catches him and then connects with a bodyslam on the floor. Love the finish with Kid getting a sunset flip pin on Martel and making a quick tag to Marty. Jannetty then gets his own sunset flip on Bomb for the win. Fun elimination tag team opener. Savage/Crush feud gets continued. The set up the Ramon/IRS match up for the IC title. Then Kid/Jannetty are established as a tag team. Martel clearly had more legs as far as being used in WWF.

[1993-12-06-WWF-Raw] Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon
This is sad with Heenan legitimately leaving WWF. He wasn't the same for me in WCW. Gorilla finally gets to run off Bobby as he throws him out of the building for good. Heenan gets in some last physical comedy picking up his stuff and things he probably stole also. So long Brain.

[1993-12-06-WWF-Raw] Shawn Michaels vs 1-2-3 Kid
Shawn has lost weight from his heavy ways during the Summer. He is moving much better out there. Heenan taking shots at Monsoon. Great pace by both guys. Michaels looking to send a message by using the Razor's Edge on Kid. Ramon comes ringside to put an end to it. Set up though as Diesel uses the KO punch by the entrance way. They stopped pushing the move shortly after. Michaels hits a Razor's Edge on the floor. We get a zoom in of Razor's toothpick.
