[1990-06-16-USWA-Memphis TV] Music Video: Jeff Jarrett
Jeff Jarrett music video. That double clothesline was bad. He can get some height on his dropkick though. Bam Bam featured in some of the clips. Jarrett was spanking some woman.

[1990-06-16-USWA-Memphis TV] Interview: Jerry Lawler / Jerry Lawler vs Rex King
Lawler has his fans in the studio. Lawler thinks Snowman doesn’t have enough brains to be World Champion. Lawler questions why Leon Spinks can be referee when he is friends with Snowman. Snowman holds up a hubcap and Lawler pauses to tell the studio audience to check their cars. Rex King matches moves with Lawler to start. Lawler getting distracted by Snowman being in the audience. Lawler has a leglock but spends the whole time yelling at Snowman on the outside. Snowman has enough and runs into the ring after Lawler and we have another brawl.

[1990-06-15-NWA-Power Hour] Arn Anderson vs Rocky King
Arn totally dominates Rocky King but the Horsemen still hit the ring to attack King. That was silly. Rocky King gets the win due to disqualification.

[1990-06-15-USWA Texas] Interview: Percy Pringle / Kerry Von Erich vs Matt Borne
Pringle wants Fritz to come down to help Chris since he’s the only son he has left. Sheesh. Chris will be Kerry’s corner. Kerry says Chris wants a piece of anything he can get. Kerry gets on the mic and says a bad word that gets bleeped out. Couple punches from Kerry and he goes for the Claw very early. They disappear briefly but return ring side. Borne uses the whoopie cushion. I presume it has another name. Kerry tries for the stomach claw. Cameraman gets knocked off the apron. Percy tries to handcuff Chris to the ropes but Chris manages outsmart Pringle. Kerry and Chris leave as this match rules double count out. When Borne is on the offense stuff is good but Kerry doesn’t have much of a response.

[1990-06-15-USWA Texas] Steve Austin vs Chris Adams
Don’t know what Adams was trying but he misses a flying charge into the ropes. Austin misses the top rope splash. I believe he is 0 for 1990 on that one. Jeanie makes an appearance and throws a chair. Toni with kendo stick starts hitting Jeanie. Yikes. Austin comes to help and they turn the tables with Jeanie whacking the hell out of Toni. Valets getting physical.

[1990-06-15-USWA Texas] Bill Dundee vs John Tatum
The volume is loud. Tatum ha gone out and bought Tessa a diamond ring and wants to marry her. Tatum is going to kill Dundee and he won’t stop after that. He’s devastated as nothing like having his lady by his side. Tatum wants to talk first before the match. He acknowledges he has wronged in the past. He is now a changed man and apologizes to Tessa and Dundee. He does manage to take a dig at Dundee for not being a good person. Tatum wants to shake hands and we actually get a clean shake. He’s got another handshake for the security and starts hugging the camera. That was funny. Tatum holds the ropes open for Dundee to get back in the ring. I’m buying this change. He repeatedly wants to shake hands with Dundee and starts a clap each time Dundee pulls off a move. Uh oh, maybe he hasn’t changed as Tatum nails Dundee with the use of a chain to win the title. Excellent.

[1990-06-15-EMLL] El Dandy & El Satanico vs Atlantis & Angel Azteca
Atlantis is holding his face outside the ring during the introductions. Wonder what happened there. I really dig Satanico’s armbar/bullodg combo move. He’s cranking on the arm but has enough time to give the thumbs up to the camera. Feels like Satanico is doing most of the work on his time but Dandy gets going as match goes on. Doing all kinds of selling of his back. Atlantis trips at one point but gets to his feet quickly and is able to complete move sequence. Satanico puts away Azteca but gets rolled up quickly by Lizmark. Dandy charges into and gets submitted right away by Atlantis. That’s a way to dominate.

[1990-06-13-NWA-Clash of the Champions IX] Interview: Ric Flair / Ric Flair vs Junkyard Dog / Interview: Rocky King & Sting / Ric Flair and Sting
Sting wants his chance at Flair for the title. Dudes with Attitudes. So Michaels/Diesel stole that from them. Sting wants it one on one as he has the Dudes to take out the Horsemen. Four Horsemen charge the ring. El Gigante is standing on the apron. Doing something I presume. The Dudes are able to fight off the Horsemen leaving Sting and Flair alone. Sting is geting the upperhand as the show ends.

[1990-06-13-NWA-Clash of the Champions IX] Interview: Ric Flair / Ric Flair vs Junkyard Dog / Interview: Rocky King & Sting / Ric Flair and Sting
Ole and Flair are still confident despite the events of show so far. Surely, Flair can’t lose to Junkyard? Flair mentions previous matches Arn and Windham had but ignores Sid’s match. Junkyard doesn’t get a fancy drawing but does get a jazzy entrance. Ross makes comments about JYD’s lack of conditioning and being out of shape. He also doesn’t have a scientific move in his repertoire. And he eats a lot of chickens. Flair is doing what he can here. Caudle gets his chair stolen. This is the year of announcers being more concerned about their chair. JYD takes his first bump with Flair hitting him from behind with a knee. Ends up being his only bump as Ole interferes for the DQ. Horsemen gang up on JYD but Sting, Luger and Orndorff help out.

[1990-06-12-NJPW] Big Van Vader vs Stan Hansen
More Hansen in NJPW. We get a chair and table throwing contest to start. Vader is checking with the referee to make sure his eye hasn’t popped out again. We get more blood as Hansen uses a chair to Vader’s face. Lots of blood on this show. Hansen starts punching and elbowing Vader’s face. They sure do go outside the ring a lot which was being overdone. Part of me was thinking maybe we get a finish but we don’t as Hansen gets himself DQ’d in the end. Liked it but wish they cut done on repeatedly going outside the ring. Also needed a better finish but that wasn't happening.

[1990-06-12-NJPW] Riki Choshu vs Animal Hamaguchi
Animal attacks Choshu on the way to the ring. Riki is already bleeding. Big top rope superplex from Animal. He’s also been bloodied up. Lariat time. Animal’s cornermen seem to have enough as they try to throw the towel in for Animal. Ref ignores it. One guy even goes in the ring but Choshu gets rid of him. Riki will have the final say when this one over and hits another Lariat.

[1990-06-12-NJPW] Jushin Liger vs Masaji Aoyagi
Aoyagi likes his spinning kicks so Liger dumps him on his ass. They are doing rounds which is not a favorite of mine. Submission attempt but the bell rings to end round. Much more aggressive in the second around as Aoyagi gets his strikes in and rips Liger’s mask. Another submission is stopped as round ends. We get some crowd shots. Liger storms out to start round with no mask! No hiding it on camera either. He throws lots of forearms and elbows to bloody Aoyagi. Third round ends with another submission on. That one is getting tired quickly. Referee calls the match due to blood in fourth round. Liger was kicking his ass though.
