Tatum tries to run off with Tessa which distracts Dundee. Bill gets a couple shots from Lawler after the match. Dundee is in love. Superstar knows how to treat a woman and he and Tessa are thinking about getting married. He has a kiss for Tessa.

JYD is looking big. Lots of yelling from Orndorff and Sting.

[1990-06-09-NWA-World Championship Wrestling] Interview: Four Horsemen
Sid loves wearing his tuxedo. Arn’s got his blue blockers. Good promo by Arn up to the “we don’t associate with your kind” regarding Rocky King. Ole is flustered by Rocky King. Arn wants match time with Rocky King. Windham is not happy with others interfering in his matches. Arn wants King right now.

[1990-06-09-USWA-Memphis TV] Interview: Jerry Lawler
Visual is hokey with Lawler doing a promo with green screen flames behind him. Lawler says Snowman will melt due to the heat. Least he worked it in to his promo.

[1990-06-09-USWA-Memphis TV] Jerry Lawler vs The Snowman / Interview: Lou Winston
This is a fight. Just swinging wild blows at each other. I must have missed the finish as I though Lawler accidentally hit the ref and got disqualified. Which had me questioning the whole technical loss/title change. Great atmosphere though. Snowman gets in a fight with referee Lou Winston.

[1990-06-09-WWF-Superstars] Ted DiBiase vignette
DiBiase hanging out in Cobb County. He speaks to a previous prisoner of Cobb County. Bossman use to beat up the inmates. I believe it. Okerlund does his own investigation. He is not able to locate the individual who made these recent claims to DiBiase.

[1990-06-08-USWA Texas] Steve Austin vs Chris Adams
The ladies get physically involved with each other before the match starts. Any further outside interference will lead to a banning from Sporitorium. Ref gets bumped. Adams spanks his ex-wife Jeanie a couple times. Chris must have enjoyed that. Match ends in a double DQ. Jeannie was coming close to falling out of her top. Ladies are showing some hate.

[1990-06-08-AJPW-Super Power Series] Mitsuharu Misawa vs Jumbo Tsuruta
Minor video random slowing down issues. Or maybe they are trying to shoot this like an action movie. Misawa hasn’t perfected his brow sweat wipe yet. AJPW showing off the overhead camera view for when Misawa is down on the mat. Part of me was thinking this wasn’t as good as I remembered and then they sucked me in big time. Really get into this one as it goes. Misawa gets the victoria off a reversal to a big pop. It’s treated as a big deal which I like.

[1990-06-08-AJPW-Super Power Series] Stan Hansen vs Terry Gordy
Match clipped after ring introductions. Hansen hits the lariat but Gordy is able to roll out of the ring. Gordy hits the DDT for a close two count only. Terry repeatedly attacks Hansen who is in the ropes. Probably the biggest cheers from fans are when wrestlers avoid count outs. Gordy was pushing it there trying to get the Irish whip and Hansen reverses and hits the Lariat. Short title reign for Gordy. Williams attacks Hansen after the match. Gordy helps out.

[1990-06-08-EMLL] Perro Aguayo & Ringo Mendoza & Lizmark vs El Satanico & Sangre Chicana & Ken Timbs
Didn’t like this as much as some of the recent lucha matches. Lizmark gets tripped up when climbing to the top rope and lands on his neck. He’s pretty much KO’d at this point. Then it gets kind of confusing with everyone fighting. Looks like there was no clear winner for the third fall.

[1990-06-07-Hamada's UWF] Gran Hamada & Perro Aguayo & Kendo vs El Signo & El Texano & Negro Navarro
Hamada gets backed body dropped? Even the fans were stunned at that. These rudos are not putting up with Kendo’s shenanigans. I’m thinking how the rudos are working well together but then they do a series of spots of hitting each other in error. Ha, Kendo’s multiple kip up thingy is a riot and the rudo’s team reaction of just standing there and letting Kengo walk away was fun. This Kendo guy is cracking me up. Fans start mocking one of the rudos. Entertaining match.

[1990-06-05-AJPW-Super Power Series] Jumbo Tsuruta vs Terry Gordy
Misawa hanging out in the back watching the match. He even gets interviewed as match is going on. Seems very unlike AJPW to not have the full focus on the match itself. Gordy wins with a DDT! Was expecting the Powerbomb a few moves before hand to be the finish. Thought it was alright but figured be a better match. The length of match is noticeable to future Triple Crown match times.

[1990-06-05-AJPW-Super Power Series] Stan Hansen vs Steve Williams
Was wondering about the Champions Carnival but looks like it was on hiatus for a few years. Williams does some JYD type headbutts. Hansen is busted up open. Williams physically domination Hansen. Williams has a good dropkick for a guy his size. Williams tries to run Hansen into the post but Stan reverses at the last second. Hansen loading up for the Lariat but misses. Crowd appreciates both men getting back in the ring to avoid any count out. Hansen wins with the Lariat after getting out of the Oklahoma rush. Williams couldn’t put Hansen away. Love super slow mo replays.

[1990-06-04-Hamada's UWF] Negro Casas & Blue Panther & Fuerza Guerrera vs El Hijo del Santo & Super Astro & Kendo
Santo and Casas to start. The person taping match seems to be way too excited as jumping all over the place. Crowd likes chanting for the good guys. Santo with a nice series of moves on Panther. Dives look great. Everyone has a reversal for a move and the crowd loves it. Kendo bringing the humor. Really good match in my book as I enjoyed them doing all the spots. Rudos heel it up after the match by attacking everyone.

[1990-06-04-Hamada's UWF] Aja Kong & Grizzly Iwamoto & Bison Kimura vs Manami Toyota & Mika Takahashi & Kaoru Maeda
Some type of fan cam Joshi match. This could be a tough one for me. Aja does a Bubba Bomb. Aja eats a couple dives before blocking the third one. Times I feel like this is getting the Warrior/DiBiase crowd treatment but that may just be the fan cam audio. They start to win me over as match goes on though. Nice German by Aja to win the match.

[1990-06-02-USWA-Championship Sports] Steve Austin & Jeannie Clarke and Chris & Toni Adams
Jeannie is stacked! Austin wants to talk about himself. Adams shows up with neck brace on. Adams is kind of crazy. The Chair! These USWA TX announcers really care about their chair. Jeannie slaps around Adams. Another blonde shows up and we get the ECW cat fight. Oh, it’s Adam’s wife. Angry woman promo but decent effort for probably her first time or so.

[1990-06-02-USWA-Championship Sports] Interview: Bill Dundee / Jerry Lawler promo
Dundee had a quite an evening last night against Lawler. Jerry thinks Dundee is a never has been. You sure have spent a good portion of your career feuding with someone who you consider a nobody. Tessa doesn’t seem too comfortable with Dundee. Bill thinks fans will be behind him when he wins the title. Dundee thanks Tatum for him to getting to hook up with Tessa. Dundee calls out Dirty White Boy. Dundee is okay with anyone beating up their own lady but they can’t beat up his.
