Connie Chung with breaking news that wrestling is fake. She throws out some stats. Is that Todd Gordon as part of that family? Interview with Ted Turner. This whole segment feels really out of date. Like it would be done in 1984 instead. They show bunch of clips from Norman the Lunatic match. Connie is all over how Sting got injured. El Gigante! Glad to confirm that it was Todd Gordon. That is just great.

Lawler talks about his previous match up against Von Erich in AWA for the Unified championship. Snowman makes an appearance. I don’t know who this guy is. Eddie Marlin is very defensive about Snowman being here. Lawler lets Snowman know the reason he doesn’t get title shots has nothing to do with his skin color. Marlin was aggressive here repeatedly putting his hands on Snowman. This was very captivating to watch. Lot of the stuff has been summed up by previous posts but just really something to watch

Tugboat’s entrance music is great. I don’t watch current product as much but it seems like the big fat guy is nonexistent in today’s wrestling. I guess just Brodus Clay. Hogan shows up to give Tugboat the rub. Love asks Hogan to show up next week on the Brother Love show to confront Earthquake. Yes!

Mixing up the tights. First fall to Azteca, Cruz and Atlantis. Dandy starts the second fall. Good idea. Azteca was coming up empty on that flying forearm/headbutt attempts. Dandy with the Northern Lights suplex. Guy is just full of surprises.

I still don’t recognize Hokuto. The female fans are chanting non stop. Regal suplex look alike to win the first fall. Hotta laying in the kicks. Minami makes the tag but I thought she wiffed. Hotta getting suplexed all over the place. Second fall doesn’t look smooth with the roll up attempt. Third fall ends with another roll up.

Adams eats some hairspray as match starts and Austin pummels him. Austin keeps breaking the count allowing him to beat up Adams on the outside. Austin misses a big splash off the top rope. Announcer mentions that a ringside chair is taking a beating. Might want to put over the wrestlers instead. Jeannie gets involved allowing Austin to win. More hairspary for Adams. Jeannie slaps Adams around. Adams does the worst job off “chasing” after Austin up the aisle.

Lawler says he completely outsmarted Valiant allowing him to punch himself out to the point where he fell asleep in their match. Another stretcher match signed but this time Gossett will be placed in a cage. Lawler goes to interview Valiant’s mother. Dave Brown is very skeptical that was indeed Valiant’s mother. Jimmy shows up and runs off Lawler. Valiant doesn’t like Lawler talking about his mom as she is no longer around. Somber stuff.

Interpromotional war on Family Feud. WCW beats Glow. Scott totally cleans up on the first round and almost gets the 200 points himself. I'm waiting for Rick to blow it and first answer has me thinking it could but he gets second one easy. The women have a tougher as not the easiest questions. Sting has a strong finish to his questions. Scott doesn't do too well. Something that his hard to do when you have long hair? Go for a walk! Ray Combs really likes feeling up Animal. Fun stuff overall all as got kick out of this.

Kerry needs to be separated and calmed down before the match. Borne tries a blind charge but Kerry fights off. Ironclaw is blocked but Von Erich keeps trying and gets it on the stomach. Borne throws a chair in the ring. Kerry briefly thinks about using it but tosses outside. We brawl outside the ring and a car gets used as a weapon. Really cool when you think of the year this happened. Borne gets a two by four to the face. Other wrestlers show up to break things up.
