[1992-08-08-WCW-Saturday Night] Big Van Vader vs Ron Simmons
I'd be nitpicking about Watts talking about making wrestling credible and then having eight guys put their names in a brown paper bag and the winner become number one contender. Well, the moment of Simmons winning overshadows all that. Simmons survived some big moves from Vader too. Crowd went pretty crazy for the finish.

[1992-08-08-SMW-TV] Heavenly Bodies vs The Fantastics vs Stud Stable vs Dixie Dynamite & Danny Davis
I don't like the stip where both guys on a team can be tagged in and must wrestling one another. The Fantastics actually do some mat wrestling again each other. Long match for TV and all four teams stuck around for most of it. Thought it was good but it did seem to lose some steam once the Bodies were eliminated.

[1992-08-08-SMW-TV] Down and Dirty: Bob Armstrong
Dutch's delivery was great here. He plays up his journalist side by asking questions in a provoking manner but repeatedly trying to say this is what the fans were wondering. Armstrong takes it is stride, answers the questions and then goes on a rant against WCW. SMW will visit all the small towns, tickets will be affordable and you don't have to pay $30 to watch the show on your televion.

[1992-08-08-WWF-Superstars] Ric Flair and Ultimate Warrior / Stu & Helen Hart
Gene is over the top on this one. Flair opens the bidding for Mr. Perfect's services as he is already in negotiations with Savage but Warrior can make an offer too. Totally thought Helen would start crying any second during her interview. Stu looked ready to take the cameraman to the dungeon.

[1992-08-08-USWA-TV] Interview: Jerry Lawler & Jeff Jarrett / Jerry Lawler & Jeff Jarrett vs The Moondogs
Fifi was biting Lawler at some point. She was "biting" him really high on the inner thigh. This is more of straight tag match than the tornado rules matches we have seen earlier. One thing I noticed about the Moondogs when they do their miscommunication spots is once they hit their own guy they kind of just walk away and not try to break up the pinfall. Fifi gets her hair cut and starts chair swinging at everyone after. She has Lawler in the corner and is hitting him but he seems to be shrugging them off more than anything.

Night of Champions
I missed the pre show battle royal as at the bar drinking. Coming in on the train there was a lot of Cena shirts with a few Punk shirts here and there. But that was it as far as shirts. Some dude was dressed completely in Boss Man outfit. Complete with shades and buzz cut. I was impressed and probably one of my favorite moments of the show. I was pretty shitfaced overall going in. Had a lot of fun watching the show live. Rhodes and Miz seemed to be moving really slow placed. Lots of comments about how Cara was not botching any moves. Crowd was behind Rhodes. Bryan got a big response from the crowd. Everyone was big behind the Yes chants. He really is over with the live audience. Loads of Yes chants. I really enjoyed myself during this match. I tuned out for the Divas match and the Orton match to get a beer fefill. Punk/Cena was a lot of fun live to watch. Felt like most of the crowd was on Punk's side but Cena definately had his fans also. I had no idea why Heyman was out there but it was cool to see him on Punk's side. Really good match to watch Didn't have the big crowd atmosphere I was expecting but I enjoyed it.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
Going to Night of the Champions tonight in person. I haven't been to a wrestling show since 2005. I don't even watch WWE TV. I'll catch most of the PPV's on delay but that's usually it for my WWE viewing. Don't even know the card outside of Punk/Cena (which should be interesting as far as a crowd perspective). So I'm going in blind for the most party but hopefully it's a good show. My seats are pretty good too.

Ramon calls out the big names like Undertaker and Warrior. All the dominos will fall in the WWF.
