[1994-09-03-WCW-Saturday Night] Interview: Hulk Hogan
Hogan interviewed by Okerlund on the beach with Beefcake playing catch in the background. Hulk is not a happy camper taking a couple shots at WCW for not protecting him. Hogan gets all pissy at Gene too which is funny being that Okerlund has been kissing his ass heavy since Hulk coming to WCW started up.

[1994-09-03-SMW-TV] Rock & Roll Express vs The Gangstas
Decent match for The Gangstas being involved and there being no brawling. Pretty basic TV match overall. Ricky takes his beating for the while and the Rock n' Roll get the pinfall on Mustafa. They turn there back post match and pay for it. Thatcher plays up the Rodney King/LA Riots stuff to compare to Morton getting beat up after. New Jack uses naughty language in his promo.

[1994-09-03-USWA-TV] Tommy Rich, Buddy Landell and the Moondogs
Dave Brown is a better sleuth as Leslie Neilsen as he figures out immediately who the Dark Patriot is. Moondogs match where Rich and Landell interfere immediately. One of the Moondogs is tricked into the leaving the building. I'm waiting for some type of involvement with a car. He is trying to get back in the building but it doesn't seem like the door is actually locked. Eddie Marlin to the rescue to open the door. The other Moondog takes a bunch of chairshots to the head.

[1994-09-03-USWA-TV] Interview: Tommy Rich & Buddy Landell
Cameraman zoom! Landell and Rich not happy with the attacks on them by the Moondogs. They aren't coming to TV or crummy towns as they are on strike. Damn baseball.

[1994-09-03-AJPW-Summer Action Series II] Steve Williams vs Kenta Kobashi
Felt like they were trying to do something epic by going this long. It was a great match but they would have been better shaving off some time from this one. I enjoy watching these guys going against each other and I'm a sucker for their excessiveness and who is more tougher. It does bring for some fun moments. I thought they were kind of stuck on moving into high gear during the middle of match but once it did get going down the stretch it was entertaining. Nice to see Williams defend the title successfully as would have been hard on him to lose the title right away after his good year.

[1994-08-30-ECW-TV] The Sandman vs Tommy Dreamer
Tommy gets canned by Sandman and after ever shot Woman gives Dreamer the option of having this end by just getting down on his knees and kissing her feet. Dreamer's back gets really messed up with all these shots. That was a beating.

[1994-08-29-WWF-Summerslam] The Undertaker vs The Undertaker
Thankfully this is just the finish. Match as whole is awful. Real Undertaker debuts the purple look. I remember the crowd being pretty vocal throughout the show until this match. Multiple Tombstones and Dibiase's Undertaker is no more.

[1994-08-29-WWF-Summerslam] Bret Hart vs Owen Hart (Cage)
I grew up watching WWF cage matches so to me this was a great match. Yes, it doesn't have pinfall/submissions involved but as far as match based around escapes, I think Bret and Owen are fantastic. Back in 94, I had this match neck and neck with the WrestleMania one as two of my favorite matches. Over time, I have put the WrestleMania match higher than this but I still feel this holds up well. It doesn't have blood involved like typical cage match and they do kind of start the slow climbing a bit early into the match. I think if they kept it to the mat a bit longer to start there may not have been some of the repetitions later in the match. Bret and Owen do a great job using the cage, fighting each off repeatedly when trying to climb. Loved the drama with the escapes and can still remember when I saw this live the last escape attempt as both men climb down the same side of the cage battling all the way.

[1994-08-29-WWF-Summerslam] Lex Luger vs Tatanka
Count me as I guess one of the few surprised by the Tatanka heel turn. I was not believing Luger would join the corporation but that this was just Dibiase stirring up crap. So Tatanka turning did catch me off guard but looking back there were signs. I seem to remember when he came down to the ring during his entrance he blew past the fans paying no attention. And the darkened hair look.

[1994-08-29-WWF-Summerslam] Diesel vs Razor Ramon
Diesel and Shawn show off their newly won tag team titles. Diesel really has his working boots on in this match. Both him and Razor looked good and and a real fun, good match. Michaels was very entertaining on the outside though. He does his flying off the ropes to the guardrail bump again. Didn't have a whole lot of slow moments with him outside the ring. Payton is no where near as involved but does his job. Michaels hits Diesel by mistake with the superkick to get things going for the eventual turn.

[1994-08-27-WCW-Saturday Night] Nick Bockwinkel statement
Not buying the indefinite suspensions of both Ric Flair and Sherri. Was it really established that he was behind the masked man attack? It felt like a separate deal to me. I think if Hogan was in jeopardy it was because he tried to wrestle the same night of the injury. Flair and Sherri on their own weren't doing anything more than what the typical heels do.

[1994-08-20-SMW-TV] Interview: The Gangstas
I like at the end of the inteview when talking about the Gangstas, Caudel mentions "there they are, there they go and I'm glad". Only they are still standing right next to him. Lucky he didn't get roughed up there.

[1994-08-24-WCW-Clash of the Champions XXVIII] Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan
Can't believe they put the rematch on free TV. Bash match was way better. Hogan is walking like a zombie trying to sell the knee injury when he moves. They should have cut out the first part of this match when Hogan comes out and dominates Flair while being injured. They brawl for the longest time outside the ring where referee lets them get away with it. What makes it so dumb later for the finish when he does the quick ten count. Hogan was also inconsistent with the knee injury at times doing poses and moving fine and then being unable to move off more simple moves. Moment when some old lady in the front row was trying to go after Flair with her crutch. But Flair does look dumb at the finish when he thinks he won the title. Well, Buffer did announce him as new champion but even before then he was celebrating.

[1994-08-24-AJW] Akira Hokuto & Aja Kong vs Dynamite Kansai & Yumiko Hotta (Elimination)
Well I thought this was decent enough to keep me watching throughout. Actually enjoyed parts of it. Didn't feel like it was that slow to start but yeah it did pick up after Kong was eliminated. I wasn't aware it was an elimination match so when she was counted out I couldn't believe the match was over like that. This felt a bit strange at times how they were doing the partners hitting each other a few times in error when they were trying to double team Hokuto. Don't know my Joshi so I don't know the in and outs of the feuds or have seen that many matches but I found the last few minutes to be pretty good.

[1994-08-24-WCW-Clash of the Champions XXVIII] Dusty & Dustin Rhodes vs Terry Funk & Bunkhouse Buck
Dusty still has his swagger. Match feels a bit rush with the missed tag seen by the referee only for Dusty to tag in about 15 seconds later on anyways. It was still good though and post match angle was great. Dusty and Meng finally face off with nobody in front of them and chair shot to Meng has no effect. He then applies the nerve hold with the chair still hanging around his neck! This feud has been one of the best one of the last couple weeks on yearbook.
