[1994-05-17-ECW-TV] Interview: Public Enemy
Oh, they weren’t that bad. I think they are fine in right doses and they were a good fit in ECW.

Yeah, what’s he popping up like that after that type of kick. Cool finish though.

[1994-05-16-WWF-Raw] King's Court: Nikolai Volkoff
Lawler gets a quick dig at Piper before the commercial break. Volkoff does not seem all that pleased of joining up with the Corporation. I was a Corporation fan back in the day. Probably one of the few. Dibiase provides Volkoff with new gear which of course he pays for by deducting out of his paycheck.

[1994-05-16-WWF-Raw] The Undertaker sighting
Undertaker is causing people to spill gas all over themselves at the gas station. Luckily gas only costs about $1.10 a gallon at this time.

[1994-05-15-AAA-Triplemania II-B] El Hijo del Santo & Jushin Liger & Octagon & Tiger Mask vs Blue Panther & Eddy Guerrero & La Parka & Psicosis
Oh yeah, some fine competitors in this match. This is way more to my liking. Everyone is just going full speed out there with great action. Match even manages to go to a faster pace as it goes. Third fall is wonderfully chaotic to watch. Very entertaining match. Psicosis seems to have got under people’s skin as after the match he becomes a big target.

[1994-05-15-AAA-Triplemania II-B] Mascara Sagrada vs Black Cat
Thought this was pretty decent. Sagrada doesn’t look like the most fluid guy at times but he has some decent selling in the first fall. I liked the figure four sequence where they rolled to the outside though it is a bit risky of a move. Black Cat pulls out a bunch of suplexes in the second fall. Visually he looks like the much better guy. If you going to get disqualified for doing a piledriver you might as well do one like that.

[1994-05-14-ECW-When Worlds Collide] Arn Anderson & Terry Funk vs Bobby Eaton & Sabu / Interview: Paul E. Dangerously
WCW must have not been paying much attention to Styles. Joey seems to really enjoy himself taking all those shots. Match was good. It was cool to see all these guys in this match at ECW. Funk with a powerbomb? Terry did look pretty good in this match. Decent brawling towards the end. Perfectly acceptable match to watch. Funk mistakenly hits Anderson with a chair. Anderson returns and his are on purpose. Funk ends up submitting which was surprising.

[1994-05-14-WCW-Saturday Night] Ric Flair vs Ricky Steamboat
So the title seems to be officially held up before the match due to what happened at Spring Stampedge. Does this count towards Ric Flair World Titles? I don’t see it recognized. I figure this would be a step below the Stampedge match since this is from TV. Wrong. Much better pace between the two this time around. Seems to be an added intensity also. I forgot what year it was for a second when Steamboat was taping on the mat while in the figure four. Unique finish that I wasn’t sure about at first but ended up thinking it was fine since these guys had gone 35 minutes so it is more believable. They do recognize it as another Title win for Flair. Tony took at shot at another announcer for their multiple marriages. Jim Ross?

[1994-05-14-SMW-TV] Jake Roberts, Dirty White Boy and Bob Armstrong / Jake Roberts vs Dirty White Boy
Roberts is fun here resting his arm on Caudle. He calls Dirty White Boy a geek which was random but sure does get under DWB's skin. Jake gets a title shot out of it. Well played. DWB letting his emotions get the best of him with his current condition. I love Jake explaining with physical demostration to referee Mark Curtis what he did with the arm ringer and takedown. No hair pulling there! Jake's overall taunting is a lot of fun and he repeatedly attacks the eye. Jake ends up totally outsmarting Dirty White Boy for accepting this match by getting the victory. Good match which was better when Jake's was in control because of his antics.

[1994-05-14-USWA-TV] Eddie Gilbert celebration
Gilbert turn was way too obvious from his promos so far on set. I don’t think the crowd were really buying him as Lawler’s ally anyways. Good beatdown goes on. Jarrett turns after just a week of beating up Lawler. This needed to be stretched out over a course of couple weeks at least. Cory is doing his best Milton standing around waiting for cake. Angry promo from Gilbert. He tries to explain his reasons for what he did to Lawler. Cory gets really pissed that they wasted the cake and didn’t give him a piece.

[1994-05-14-WWF-Superstars] Duke Droese vignette
Two trashed star Duke Droese showing off his athletic skills here. I would have been more impressed if he had threw the trash can over off the pay loader and then caught it himself.

[1994-05-14-WWF-Superstars] The Undertaker sighting
They didn’t say how deep the pool was but I’m going to guess six feet. Some quality acting. These guys know how to finish each others’ sentences.

[1994-05-14-WWF-Superstars] Interview: Bret Hart
Bret relies on Helen Hart for reason on why things are the way they are with Owen. Where’s Lawler to comment on this? This continues on that this fued is not over between the brothers. Bret accepts Diesel’s challenge or the title at the King of the Ring. Standard promo from Bret.

[1994-05-10-ECW-TV] Paul E. Dangerously and Terry Funk
Paul E rips on Funk’s daughters and right away Terry shows up. He is less than impressed as doesn’t like his family being involved. Don’t know why Terry didn’t just slug Heyman here.

[1994-05-09-WWF-Raw] Earthquake feature
Earthquake has a lot to proove in WWF. Feels like he didnt last a whole long of a time on this return. I liked the old pictures of him from his Sumo Days.

[1994-05-07-WWF-Yokohama, JAP] Bret Hart vs Randy Savage
A lot of mat based work early. Savage gets in a couple flying smashes. Don’t get why WWF was sticking him in the background at this point. With their lack of star power, I feel like he still could have contributed more in 93-94. Slow pace to start so it feels like they are going to have a long match. But they go to the finish part of match too soon. I wanted to like this match more with the guys involved so it is a big disappointing.

[1994-05-07-WCW-Saturday Night] Interview: Ric Flair & Arn Anderson
Crowd is annoying on this rather good promo. Anderson shows up and flashes the four fingers. Flair/Anderson agree to talk more about this after the Steamboat fight. Hogan hasn’t been mentioned much lately. I wonder is there is a hold up on him coming in or if they are trying not to focus on him too much.
