[1994-04-02-WCW-Saturday Night] Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat
Starting to get serious between Flair and Hogan. This was a needed step up for Flair on the promos compared to some of his prior ones since the Vader match. He seems to be more accepting of what is going to happen with Hogan. I like Steamboat taking offense to being looked passed on by Flair.

[1994-04-02-WCW-Saturday Night] Music Video: Vader / Interview: Vader & Harley Race
I was wondering where Vader was. Here we get a video of Vader being all villainy beating up a vast amount of various jobbers. This is super with Vader destroying other wrestlers. The cheese worked here.

[1994-04-02-WCW-Worldwide] Interview: Hulk Hogan
Hulk tells Gene that he has stirred up a hornets nest to which Okerlund replies "Did I ever!" Gene seems to happy at that. Flair should pop him in the mouth during the next interview. Beefcake just stands in the background.

Oh so we do get more reasons. He should have read these off in front of live audience with some old lady transcribing them on a typewriter.

[1994-04-02-AAA] El Hijo del Santo & Lizmark & Tiger Mask vs Blue Panther & Eddy Guerrero & Love Machine
I liked Tiger Mask/Guerrero the most here but I'm not a Lucha fan. Just don't know enough of the back story to know what is going on here. I was confused with the second fall decision also. Was it a DQ for unmasking opponent?

[1994-04-01-SMW-Bluegrass Brawl] Rock & Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies (Loser Leaves Town Cage)
I am glad the cage didn't break with Curtis having to hold it up. Cage matches with tags is a bit strange but it is welcomed here with these teams. Great match. Express really dominate early and control for a very long time. I enjoy them taking shortcuts (no tagging in, low blow, distracting the ref). The stakes are too high and they are doing everything to win. Bodies actually change the momentum with a clean counter! But they go to their usual tricks on Morton. Lots of close falls at the end with Curtis getting knocked out. Fans were not excited to see the second referee come down but the good guys get the win in the end. Sad to see the Bodies go as was enjoying this feud on yearbook.

[1994-04-01-SMW-Bluegrass Brawl] Chris Candido vs Tracy Smothers (Ladder)
Great effort here but I still believe Michaels/Razor from WrestleMania is ranked higher. I think Candido/Smothers do a better job when it comes wrestling without the ladder. I felt the ladder was used a lot more in the WrestleMania match once it was introduced. This match they use the ladder here and there and go back to wrestling. The climbing is also kept to a minimum which I appreciate cause these guys climb too slow. Curtis uses a five count on Candido when he tries to choke Smothers with the ladder. Not sure what that was about. Candido takes some pretty good bumps here. When the both finally climb the ladder you can't help but thinking it's not going to hold as it seems to bending. Finally it breaks which is a cool spot. Glad they were able to recover and still finish the match. How awkward would it have been if Candido was suppose to win and Curtis had to hold the ladder up for him to climb.

[1994-03-29-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Steve Williams vs Toshiaki Kawada
Kawada getting dropped knee first on the table outside looked painful. Play by Play guy barely gets out of the way and looks composed as they try to switch out of headset while he still calls the match. Williams looks really great here. He shrugs of some of Kawada's kicks and has a very nice looking counter throw to the Stretch Plum. Kawada with his own nice reversal on a backdrop attempt and controls the remaining couple minutes. He comes close to winning at the end but a deserving draw earned for both guys.

[1994-03-27-AJW-Wrestling Queendom] Aja Kong & Bull Nakano vs Akira Hokuto & Shinobu Kandori
Here we go. Hokuto and Kandori don’t seem to be the best of friends. I like the beating Hokuto takes outside the ring. They sure do make those tables sturdy in Japan. Don’t like the five piledrivers as much. Was that move just not protected at all in Japan? I know she didn’t try to pin Hokuto but what was the point of even doing those five piledrivers in a row. Great segment with Hokuto and Aja just slapping each other back and forth and Hokuto wins. Another piledriver on a table outside which doesn’t break. Kandora runs Nakano down the very long entrance ramp. That was silly. Hokutu and Kandori are great taking their beatings and Aja and Bull are complete monsters. Picks up a lot towards the end and the last few minutes are very enjoyable. Felt too unorganized at times and lot of repetition of moves. Cut a few minutes off and it’s a better match for me.

[1994-03-27-AJW-Wrestling Queendom] Manami Toyota vs Plum Mariko
I'm trying to give Joshi a chance but it's been a struggle. Probably something I need to be in the right mood to watch. I also might appreciate it more when I watch the year books in a row. Anyways, this felt average. Toyota never seemed in any danger so it just came down to when she was going to win.

[1994-03-27-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Toshiaki Kawada vs Johnny Ace
Just alright for me. Kawada gets Ace in the stretch plum and I figure it's over there but Johnny survives. Kawada goes back to the same hold later and finally get's the victory. This wasn't a long match but I would have been fine with Kawada getting the submission earlier. This would have done better as a sprint from the opening bell.

[1994-03-19-SMW-TV] Down and Dirty
Seeing Vince here is something else. He hypes the loser leaves town match while pitching an offer to the losing team to come join the WWF. I misheard Vince saying Brett Butler (the actress) which I thought was a curious one to compare Cornette to. Morton's promo is awesome. I love the whole reading a letter thing. He writes a letter to help him say what he has to. Ricky is very emotional.

[1994-03-24-AJPW-Championship Carnival] Kenta Kobashi vs Akira Taue
Thought it was a lot of fun with some very believable close pin fall attempts. The time limit hits me out of nowhere as I wasn't really focused on the length of the match. Good start for the Carnival as glad to finally get some AJPW singles matches. I've seen very little from this tournament outside the final so looking forward to it.

[1994-03-21-WWF-Raw] Interview: Bret Hart
Having a good announcer just gets the wrestlers to the point quicker. Now you have guys come out and talk forever. Bret references yesterday afternoon which makes me remember the earlier start time for the PPV.

[1994-03-20-WWF-Wrestlemania X] Bret Hart vs Yokozuna
The right guy walked out with the title on this WrestleMania. Wasn't the best match was the happy ending for the show. Reynolds even claps along with a cast on his right hand. The look on Owen's face is incredible. He is so envious. And we get to see more of this feud over the rest of the year.
