[1994-03-20-WWF-Wrestlemania X] Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon (Ladder)
Still a great match for me but we have seen so many ladders matches since. That makes it impossible to still stand out. This definitely got over with the WWF audience and myself at the time. Too bad these matches got over exposed. Stuff with the ladder is excellent. Good job on getting Diesel out of there early to not get him involved when it came to using the ladder. Michaels does some great looking bumps and ladder allows for less of his heel chinlocks. I like having only the one ladder too. Puts the focus on both guys fighting over just the one ladder to use as a weapon. Huge pop for Razor when he grabs the title.

[1994-03-20-WWF-Wrestlemania X] Interview: Jim Cornette
This one I had forgotten about. Pettingzoo! Cornette is great here setting up the main event with Yoko being a heavy favorite and Bret confidence being down after his loss to Owen earlier.

[1994-03-20-WWF-Wrestlemania X] Lex Luger vs Yokozuna
Bad result and the match as a whole was pretty awful. Crowd not happy. Luger sure comes off as someone who really blows his big chances to win the WWF title.

[1994-03-20-WWF-Wrestlemania X] Bret Hart vs Owen Hart
I never understand the view that the Ladder match stole the show when you had this bout leading off the PPV! I've seen this many times now and it still is one of my favorite matches. My match of the year though I'm still keeping an open mind to some of the later stuff to appear on the yearbook. We get the great video history before hand. Owen's celebrating of tie up is great. He is real cocky here and takes a lot of control in the match. The moves are so crisp and Owen hits one of the best looking German suplexes. Owen has a great moveset variety. Never really taken the view that Bret took Owen lightly in this match. Maybe that is the Owen fan in me believing he cleanly won here. Bret injuring his knee is a momentum change and Owen quickly pounces. Bret takes back control towards the end looking to put away Owen. Not a fluke type pinfall victory for me. Bret had used the victory roll previously in matches and I think Owen does a great job of expertly blocking the move and getting the pin. Crowd is pretty shocked at that one. I didn't get to watch this match until couple months after the show so was well aware of outcome. Even then, this match provided a great mark out moment for me seeing Owen win.

[1994-03-19-WCW-Saturday Night] Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat
From watching these back to back segments, Gene was doing Hogan's bidding here. He leads the Flair interview to talk about Hogan and then tells Steamboat the Flair wanted to talk about Hogan instead. Oh that Hulk. You definitely don't see backstage interviewers today interrupt like Okerlund does at times.

[1994-03-19-SMW-TV] Chris Candido vs Tracy Smothers (Ladder)
Pre match has Smothers kiss a ring side fan with the aid of the confederate flag covering her face. Looks like Tracey could just jump up off the mat and grab the money. This tells me we aren't going to have a whole lot of slow climbing. Ladder seems a bit flimsy. We get a couple turnbuckle 10 count smashes which makes me feel nostalgic. This has a mix of straight wrestling mixed with them using the ladder as a weapon. Candido barely even made any attempts to climb the ladder. They seem to be taking the approach that you really need to beat down your opponent before trying to climb ladder. This is different than Michaels/Ramon but it still good in it's own way. Finish was nice spot.

[1994-03-16-WCW-Munich, GER] Ric Flair & Steven Regal vs Sting & Ricky Steamboat
So are they already turning Flair at this point? He's respectable towards Steamboat but heeling it up a bit versus Sting. Or maybe that's just their MO as you say. Always enjoy Flair/Steamboat. I actually wanted more out of Regal in this match as he'd come in, do great and then make a tag out. Enjoyable match that had me wanting more but still satisfying in the end.

[1994-03-16-WCW-Munich, GER] Vader vs Cactus Jack
Promo in German! Vader tries to interrupt by firing a chair near Jack's head. Never seen this footage. I keep waiting and waiting for it to happen and there it is. I still can't believe Cactus continues on with the match. The referee doesn't seem all that sympathetic.

[1994-03-12-SMW-Johnson City, TN] Rock & Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies (60-Minute Iron Man)
We get a very quick fall by Rock & Roll to start match and they hold the advantage for a very long time. The Express really needed to be chasing the Bodies instead in this match. This would have been better off as 2 out of 3 falls or 30 minute time limit. Even in the last 10 minutes they weren't doing enough for a match that had already been going as long as it did. I think this could have done another fall on each side or spread out the falls more through the match.

[1994-03-12-WCW-Saturday Night] Steve Austin vs Ricky Steamboat
Yeah, I knew Steamboat was winning but they really had me going in the last few minutes. Great near pinfall exchange. Best of the Austin matches so far. Parker sure didn't have a whole lot of confidence in his man to interfere that quickly. Austin and Steamboat were still fighting over the backslide. So not the best ending but still an enjoyable match overall.

[1994-03-12-WCW-Saturday Night] Interview: Hulk Hogan
Didn't realize Hogan was on TV by this point. This felt disjointed. If this was Hogan's first appearance on WCW TV, I don't think it was done right. They are on TV set with fans just standing randomly around. Heenan shows up and feels really out of place. They tease Hogan/Flair a bit before Hogan threatens Heenan. Maybe a sitdown interview backstage would have been better instead.
