You want to see Anjo get his and Tenryu seems like the perfect guy to deliver. Anjo reverses the powerbomb into a sleeper. Anjo with the reverse figure four! Tenryu just clocks Anjo with a right hand. Close call on that submission attempt by Anjo. Yay. The wrestling guy wins.

PG-13 back in USWA and they win the tag titles thanks to interference from PJ Walker. Lance plays up the seriousness of Flanagan being stretchered out. PG-13 do a black and while colored promo. Nobody cared about them until they won the tag titles. They have 30 days to defend though and they are large and in charge.

Anyways, I look forward to watching this cage match again as I try to finalize my ballot. I think there is a limit to how much the well can be poisoned when you're up against every other terrible match from a year. I have it above the Buck vs Regal match certainly because that match was just put on there to punish us. I kind of want to rewatch Piper/Mr. T? Was that the boxing match? Does that even count? Yeah, it's the boxing match but I do have to question like you said whether that counts now that I think about it. My problem with it was that it was given enough time on a major show and there was way too much pulled punches. Okay, but I'm still going to think it has to be way worse than tag team cage match. But yes Buck/Regal is a perfect example at what I stated originally about a match that goes way too long that is just boring as heck.

Luger is hyped up about his win in the tag match. NWO surrounds Luger in the ring. But fake Sting shows up but he's is wearing a mask and is the real Sting. Nice play off all the previous stuff.

I want a La Parka versus Super Calo match the stuff that has been happening between them. Savage attacks the ring thinking La Parka is still DDP. Hennig ends up attacking DDP! Curt cannot be trusted by WCW. Flair doesn't seem to be worried about any of Hennig's recent actions.

I like looking at the ladies but this wasn't anything special in my book. Wasn't a big Nitro Girls fan.

It is not as good as the Michaels/Austin tag match. Steve going alone until we get a backstage camera shot of some white boots! Dude Love shows up on the Titantron. Austin has that what the hell look on his face. Dude Love with his own music comes out to tag with Austin. Stone Cold does a good job selling this to the point of being so shocked but still accepting Dude as his tag partner.

Micheals knee and neck looking fine. The question is will he team with Stone Cold for the tag titles. Shawn says he is not 100%. Okay. He gets down on his knees (sore knee?) and bets Vince to be part of Summerslam. Can we get an MRI on that knee please?

My problem with this match right off the bat is not believing Rodman could compete in the ring with Luger and definitely not The Giant. HBK has to be thinking how he should have wrestled with sunglasses on. Rodman hits a armdrag as Hogan and Savage storm the ring to congratulate him. That is hilarious. Luger getting outclassed by Rodman! Why is Savage even out there? Rodman is game but come on that is so obvious Nash dressed up as Sting. Luger racks Hogan and Rodman/Savage too.
