[1991-12-07-RINGS] Akira Maeda vs Volk Han
Volk’s striking was inconsistent at times where some strikes didn’t look good and then he’d hit a great palm strike. He was adding headbutts to the sternum to finish off combos. Might be not wanting to show too much on the strikes. His take downs are very nice and he is always trying to finish it on the mat which is a plus for these type of matches. Maeda throws a really wild kick that actually hits and knocks down Volk. Liked the finish too with the duel submission attempt.

[1991-12-06-CMLL] El Dandy vs El Satanico (Hair vs Hair)
Were they just throwing this match out there on a show? I wonder if there was a big build up to the hair versus hair. Referee was biased against Satanico. Giving him a hard time. Satanico grabbed an armbar and was punching Dandy in the armpit. Ouch. Below their 90 efforts which I can understand as there isn’t the same hate/blood in it as much.

[1991-12-03-WWF-This Tuesday In Texas] The Undertaker vs Hulk Hogan
Undertaker might have been one of the first guys to not wear the title around his waist. Taker struggles hitting the ropes and falls on his ass. Lots of cheating. Hogan knew exactly what he was doing with he hit Flair with that chair shot and Ric fell on top of Tunney. He gets the title back but it won't last long as Tunney gets a good view of Hogan's cheating antics.

[1991-12-03-WWF-This Tuesday In Texas] Randy Savage vs Jake Roberts / Interview: Jake Roberts
Real creepy Jake promo who was very excited seeing how much terror Miss Elizabeth was in during snake attack. Roberts is not at fault for any of his actions. If I remember correctly he used that stance during his feud with DWB in 94. Jake is great. Savage wastes no time and jumps his entrance to attack Roberts. Hebner avoided a typical referee bump spot! Finish came out of nowhere. I just don’t see what make Roberts so weakened at end to being lying there to take big elbow. Jake gets his heat back big time after by hitting DDTs on Savage. Another one right in front of Elizabeth. Where are the WWF officials? Roberts smacks Elizabeth in the face. This draws out Tunney who gets Roberts to finally leave. Savage is just as crazy afterword. There will be no stoping him.

[1991-12-02-WWF-Corpus Christi, TX] Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels
Michaels is quick to avoid any of Perfect’s interference. Shawn ends up doing himself in by eating the guardrail on a dive to the outside. Marty finally makes an appearance to back up Shawn. Jannetty rolls a obvious knocked out Shawn into the ring only for him to get pinned by Flair immediately. Nice work Marty.

[1991-11-30-WWF-MSG, NY] The Rockers vs Nasty Boys
It wasn’t on the yearbook but I need to point out Monsoon’s all time terrible commentary at Survivor Series during the Rockers match. Completely missing the issues in the match and talking about how Shawn walked on on his team. He was pinned! Monsoon kept this up whole match. Anyways, issues with Shawn and Marty continue and Michaels accident reverses a small package spot causing Jannetty to get pinned.

[1991-11-30-WWF-MSG, NY] Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan
No Mr. Perfect at first even though he is introduced by Fink. First time I saw this I was excited to see Flair get the pinfall win over Hogan. Then the decision gets reversed which sucks. It was a really good time to give Flair the win but I guess they need to protect Hogan since he was in line for title shot at Tuesday in Texas.

[1991-11-30-USWA-Memphis TV] Robert Fuller vs The Moondogs (Handicap)
Impressive to be tag champions for the whole continent. Moondogs have arrived in USWA. Does make me want to see some of those crazy brawls in 92. Dogs win the titles and rough up Fuller. Jarrett does his best to save Fuller. The chair helped out.

[1991-11-29-AJPW-Real World Tag League] Mitsuharu Misawa & Toshiaki Kawada vs Jumbo Tsuruta & Akira Taue
Taue and Jumbo continue their attack on Misawa’s face. This had great crowd heat as fans were booing Taue and Jumbo for their unsportsmanlike antics. Though after Jumbo interfered at one point their boos turned to cheers when he did his arm raise to crowd. The fans are really vocal about Taue. He gets booed just tagging in. AJPW has been providing some of the best matches during the year.

[1991-11-28-WWF-Survivor Series] Interview: Ric Flair
Flair and Mr. Perfect very happy with Hogan losing the belt. Flair is now the only World Heavyweight champion. I guess he don't recognize Undertaker.

[1991-11-27-WWF-Survivor Series] Hulk Hogan vs The Undertaker
WWF PPVs were well represented on this yearbook until this show. Watched this whole show recently and it was pretty bad. After many years of doing the leg drop, Hulk runs into the wrong side of the ropes and gets his foot grabbed by Bearer. Flair is there and tosses a chair in the ring. Undertaker hits a very weak Tombstone on it with Hogan’s head a good six inches away from the chair. Big cheer from crowd on the three count. Hogan had that coming as he attacked Flair for no reason and Ric got him back.

[1991-11-27-WWF-Survivor Series] Interview: Jake Roberts
Roberts calls the snake attack on Savage to be an accident. The plug the upcoming PPV as there is a singles match with Savage and Roberts. No snakes allowed ringside. Great response from Roberts on comment from Okerlund about being a sick man. Jake makes threats towards Elizabeth. That’s not going to set well with Savage.

[1991-11-23-WCW-Saturday Night] Interview: Dangerous Alliance
Heyman doesn’t want CNN breaking news regarding the Dangerous Alliance. Paul: “Ross, you’re a big football fan.” New members of the Alliance are Larry Z and Arn Anderson. Don’t stop there though as Austin is also a part of the team. No Lady Blossom. And finally Bobby Eaton. I felt like this should have been on a bigger stage but it is an impressive group.

[1991-11-23-WCW-Worldwide] Steve Austin & Arn Anderson vs Bobby Eaton & Dustin Rhodes
Tony is talking about how Eaton has already joined the Dangerous Alliance. He explains how Dustin is doing most of work in match and Eaton tags in briefly before making quick tag out. Eaton hits a couple punches on Austin but things still don’t look right. Bobby finally turns on Dustin to little reaction from crowd.

[1991-11-23-WWF-Superstars] Randy Savage and Jake Roberts
Not much to add to this one on what has already been said. They heavily censor the snake attack but the live fans look completely shocked. This was probably too much for many of the young fans to watch. Great, great angle though with Roberts pushing the envelope heavy with the snake attack and Savage incredible selling of it. It really is a shame Jake's run as heel was cut short in 92.

[1991-11-23-WWF-Superstars] Survivor Series Report
So Sid was the fourth person in this match. He’s out but they don’t mention any replacement and make it seem like it will be a handicap instead. LOD and Bossman want Savage to be their partner and have appealed to Tunney. This makes the Survivor Series match worse when they were teasing Savage actually being involved and he doesn’t wrestle. I see the Big Bully Busick is being advertised as part of Mustafa’s team.

[1991-11-23-WWF-Superstars] Interview: Hulk Hogan
Hulkamania may be dead after Survivor Series. Well, it will disappear for a while in a couple months. Jesus spilled his blood on the cross to ensure Hulkamania will survive. I missed one that in Sunday school class.
